  1. THAT is a gorgeous shot. Congrats Oakie!

An excellent showcase of your work so far. And youtube seems to be responding well also, good view numbers and awesome comments from people with fond memories of this project over the years. Congrats!

A majestic and fitting enclosure indeed. Love all the great photo ops it provides (and the lions seem to like them too!)

Thanks Dxtrr and CT. I did finally get a few guests to randomly enter the ocean in their swimwear, so at least I know it's possible now. You can see one of them at the beginning of this video. And oh yeah, this park has a video now.

I really like the Carlotta t-shirts, although I can't seem to stop staring at them.

As soon as I saw the poster for Mythos I said to myself "We're never going to get there." You absolutely nailed this, from the queue to the arrival back at the station. Loved the full immersion with the audio throughout, made me laugh several times. Very jealous of your build skills AND your storytelling abilities. Not sure how you fit all of this into the space port 3000 building but I didn't see any showbuildings behind it, so you are clearly a magician. Worth noting all the clever dark ride scenes, so much originality in what to do with those pieces and so many things I would have never thought of.

Thanks guys. There's an event point and a vista point both buried out in the water somewhere (along with some buried wave machines) that will lure guests in the water. They don't seem to attract swimmers even though there are swimmers in lounge chairs all along the beach. I'm wondering if it's in the code that makes those interactions require clothing the same way rides do. Really wish there was a setting to let us choose that behavior. OR.... they're just peeing. ;)
  8. I've always loved the concept of Paradise Pier so of course I love this project. Was very disappointed with the Pixar makeover, much preferred the vintage theme of the original. You're doing a great job with the boardwalk architecture, love all the variety in designs and color, each booth is unique and original. What a great way to showcase the midway games. Welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing this build with us, I'm excited to see where it all goes.

Attempting a pirate-themed waterpark resort, kind of a hybrid between Typhoon Lagoon and Atlantis/The Bahamas. I'm open to better park names but at least this one isn't redundant with anything that I'm aware of.

The queue is perfection as always. This makes me both want to do sci-fi and afraid to do sci-fi knowing I could never do it this good.

Beautiful shots. I look at these and don't feel like this game needs a sequel at all.

Parking is not my favorite thing either, but it is rewarding creating the view that guests will see when they arrive, something none of us could ever really do in the RCT3 days (if we ever wanted to fit our parks on the map and get a remotely reasonable framerate.) I have to remind myself of things like that when II'm shouting "FRONTIER!" across the house several times per build session. I'm anxious to revisit this view as the park fills in, I can't imagine how much better it's going to keep getting.
  13. Hate that you have to redo that beautiful waterfront, believe me, I can imagine how long that took (and when I do it they don't come out that perfect.) But you've nailed it once so you'll nail it again. The sightlines in this park are gorgeous. Loving the castle and the hotel.
  14. These are all great CT. And with the firetrucks you unlocked another memory for me, many of those rides did have backseats, possibly even all of them for all I know. I think the dune buggy is my favorite, that is a perfect use for those cars. (Especially since it's too exaggerated to work as an actual car.) The mini-teacups are also quite clever.
  15. Given the current limitation of landscape options, this is nothing short of perfection!
  16. I subscribed to Aqualand way back when and love seeing it get a glow-up. Also love seeing it being one land in a ginormous park. Not a huge fan of park parades but when Oakie builds one, I will watch!
  17. Does this mean we'll be seeing some new citytrader parks?

Love the village and all the variety in building shapes and colors, it's like the zoo version of Main Street ❤️

Security: [stepping back from Wanda] You can just go right in, ma'am. Wanda: Is that because Mr. Wonder is my brother? Security: Um, no. Love all the infrastructure details and totally appreciate the patience it takes doing pavement markings and colored curbs like the fire zone. As I haven't been to any parks in a decade (or two...) Is the security checkpoint standard for most parks now? If so I think I've got some detailing (and possibly complete entrance redesign) work to do...
  20. I need to be paying much more attention to the RCT3 board. This is incredible. Can't imagine the time it took, both in-game and editing. My mind is blown.

Congrats on this award winning project, along with your multitude of well deserved honors. I agree with the academy's choice for all of them!

Thanks all! It's very high praise considering all of the talent around here. And thanks @wolfpaw for all you do. And I'd also like to thank -- shit, it seems the band is already playing me off.

It doesn't seem that the workshop games are causing you any LOD issues with your signs. When I use any of them signs all over my park turn blurry. Looks great, I'm seeing a lot of variety in games (and decor) without repetition. There is visual interest in all directions. Well done.
