Sorcery Pack (Basically Harry Potter pack)
I've been in all day without any crashes YET, but it is kind of normal for game updates and DLC's to break a few things that didn't show up in testing. Sims 4 is famous for it. It does seem like these are the bugs that Frontier tends to focus on and usually issues a quick patch within several days of release. I have mixed thoughts on the pack, it's the typical finding one thing I don't like for everything I do like. The scalability options amongst different pieces are ridiculously and arbitrarily random, as are the ability to color or not color certain pieces. And NONE of the big issues I've had since day one were addressed once again in lieu of things that weren't really bothering or affecting me. I'm sure I'll find more...

Wonder World
Wonder World is looking better than ever! I've been thinking all this time that PC1 had better textures than PC2 but this picture indicates otherwise. Maybe it's just the pieces they imported from PC1 that aren't handling texture well... I forgot PC1 had that style of entrance gates, I'm glad they brought the zoo entrances over to PC2 but really wish they had done something similar with the ride gates.

Sorcery Pack (Basically Harry Potter pack)
Good morning CT. It's 5am here (central time) and Steam is saying 3 hours. So for you I'm guessing 9am? I was hoping to explore a little before work but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Garden of the Gods - a PC2 park
The scenery for this coaster would make it well worth the ride. The excitement of the track is added bonus. And the chance to burn some peeps is absolutely priceless. đ

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
Very kind, thank you Wowman. As I told Shy I really need to do some Knotts studying the same way I've been doing with Dolly and SDC, it sounds like there's a whole lot of inspiration to be found there. Self deprecation is part of the shtick I think, but also a thing where I try to lower expectations first and then exceed them. It's all quite shady, I know đ If you're playing Gnome Hunt, I think there were 7 in this video. There is also an 8th gnome in the park (the only female, ala Smurfette) and I don't think she shows up in this one. My plan for the gnomes is to give them a park section for the kids like maybe some enchanted caves or something that has a dark ride. I think I'm waiting for some more inspiration to hit before I start that up. And once I do that I'll probably pull quite a few of the existing ones out so that the kiddie section has a little more impact.

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
The log flume was originally going to be full on Knott's (it seems to be a popular attraction as far as flumes go?) and then I found the one at WB Movie World which looks like it would be a lot of fun to build. (I might have called it Universal in the video, oops.) I do want to go research more of Knotts though, I looked at their mine ride but I don't think it will work for me here. Glad it looks good, I kind of think it does too. Hopefully a GCI fanatic will come along and educate me on any nuance that I'm missing. :) Thanks again Plokoon. I've been debating adding my own voice to a video for a long time now and came close to not doing it at all. All of the support is very encouraging.

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
From your lips to Frontier's ears! I'd even be happy if it was NVIDIA compatible so that we could use Ansel on it. Reshade works well but this should all be possible in-game. Thanks, I'm happy you noticed the sightlines (and sometimes intentional lack of them) because I didn't really talk much about that :)

Sorcery Pack (Basically Harry Potter pack)
The walls, roofs, and windows seem to have some usefulness in non-wizardry projects, but it kind of goes downhill from there. Really hope that after this they get back to giving us things that exist in multiple parks, not just one. I like that they didn't make anything that was redundant with PC1's Spooky pack, but that's because I'm hoping they'll just give us that pack back for free and then we can mix the two together.

Wonder World
Nice improvement, and I agree with you about the in-game fonts. Granted it's more than we had in PC1 but most of them seem kind of useless. They should really let us install our own fonts. I'll add that to the list of things I want. EDIT: just noticed the new floor. Def more fitting for a restroom entrance.

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
It's a separate program, you can get it here: https://reshade.me/forum/shader-discussion/2120-download Can be used for any game, there's a part during installation where you select which game(s) you want it to be applied to. Once installed you can toggle it on or off while in game, and change settings at any time. For these photos today I pulled back on a bunch of my settings to focus only on toning the saturation a bit but giving it more color than my ghost town screenshots. It's also fairly easy to uninstall. Also worth noting: It doesn't seem to affect framerates, as I've filled up almost half a map now with no significant FPS loss. Bodes well for Wonder World, I think. đ

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
Thank you all for the kind comments!! "Crafter's Pass" is my version of Dollywood's Crafstman Valley (couldn't come up with a more original name, sorry). Silver Dollar City also has local artisans and tradespeople scattered about their park making cool things by hand and sometimes giving demonstrations. So I wanted to capture that cozy/rustic/mountain aspect somewhere in the park before things get all coaster crazy. I'm guessing I had to build over 30 unique structures for this area, pretty much copying existing buildings from those 2 parks and trying to rename and retheme them slightly. This area also has one flat ride and a small junior coaster, an indoor performance venue for various shows and local musicians, one full restaurant (still under construction) and too many other quick serve food options to list. Still detailing this area and currently not doing any interiors for it (there would be way too many and most wouldn't serve any functional purpose.) More to come from this area...

GAME DEAD
I'm glad to hear all of this, and will completely admit I've been concerned since launch that they would end up doing a couple of quick patches and walk away from their losses, thus killing the genre for another decade. (There was a financial report for the investors that sort of implied that could happen.) That, plus the surprisingly low sales numbers of the PC franchise compared with zoo, and the low numbers overall of PC2 compared to PC1 at this time. And then maybe I was spoiled by 5 months of updates with content and when things got dark for a couple of months I panicked again. I really do want this game to succeed, but like Shyguy said there is still a lot of work to do.

The Wonderful World of OZ
I have absolutely no idea how you can accomplish that pathing in the last photo without the PC2 pathing system. Actually, I have no idea how to accomplish that in PC2 either. Love the combination between replicating the film while still being able to give your own take on Munchkinland. Without going back to read 12 pages, is this a different map from the one you guys were working on previously? I was thinking Munchkinland had already been revealed much earlier

Update 7 News
I do hope they've resolved that issue, currently it's almost pointless to attempt a dark ride.

NO MORE UNLOCKED STREAMS.....
I won't miss the streams; they were awkward and unnecessarily time consuming and I would always wait until they were done and then FF through most of it. I don't think most of them wanted to be on camera and it showed. At least once per stream one of them would say they don't particularly like this genre. I do want details on the state of the game on a somewhat regular basis and I'd be happy to read them in a discord post or watch a quick youtube showcase of what's coming soon (game footage only please.) But tying to what I said earlier this week, how they handled this is just more (and now expected) disappointment from Frontier. Waiting all month until the day everyone is expecting the stream and THEN announcing they aren't doing them anymore? They could've done that in last month's stream and frustrated a lot less people. This wreaks of "we didn't really get done with anything for PC2 this month because we're focusing on other things at the moment. We'll get around to it when we feel like it and have no actual roadmap." Two things can be true: The Planet series is one of, if not the best sandbox franchise but it is absolutely in the wrong hands at this moment. And yes, the same can be said about nearly every game out there which is why I'm focusing my anger on this one. I really miss the energy and enthusiasm of the devs during the first 3 or so years of Planco 1 but I definitely feel those days are long gone.

GAME DEAD
Agree... big is very much needed, especially if they are going to charge money now. The 4 (or 5) updates earlier this year barely put a dent in all the lingering issues, and the scenery imports were done poorly. I have low confidence in the ability (and interest) of this dev team and that doesn't bode well for the future of this game.

Copper Creek (video update 9/13)
Yep. I'm about 4 months in and there are 3 lands so far, all still in progress. The old west street (Saddle City, another name I've used before) will maybe get a couple of interiors as long as the exteriors can still look authentic. I'm using the rapids track because all of the terrain levels don't really accommodate for natural water, plus I like seeing it alive with rushing water. Problem is, Frontier made an arbitrary update that requires the track to be connected to a station if you want to get the water to show up, so now I've got several underground stations all around the park âšī¸ Thanks guys, it's great hearing your feedback again.

Schiff Wild Mouse recreation with custom cars
That mouse above the entrance is horrifying, glad you didn't recreate that. The rest looks spot on!
