The fact that you're able to achieve this without having to import your own custom scenery makes me think perhaps Frontier was studying Wonder World when they were deciding what scenery pieces to include. Top quality work, as always.
  2. LMAO! Oh I totally went over the 9 minutes but then thought of you and killed off a solid 2 minutes of my usual complaining. 😉 I think there's a place in my heart for both small and cozy and the crazy nonsense as well. At the end of the day I think both styles utilize strong theming and immersion so I'm good with either. Thanks so much! Thanks Fox. I'm just glad the engine for this game lets us throw in a few more details than the old game did.
  3. Thanks guys. For those offride segments I just put the camera down and let it record for 5 minutes because I wasn't sure how much time I would need for the voiceover, then deleted the extra footage once my spiel for each coaster was done. It was kind of lazy on my part but I'm glad it worked. It also helped me keep the overall runtime down, because I'm well aware of JB's 9 minute attention span!! 🤣
  4. Thank you Wolfpaw, Wowman, and Plokoon (and sorry for not responding to you sooner, real life and work stuff got in the way this month but that's no excuse.) I do need to work on posting more pictures, especially this forum where they seem to always look way better than they do on the discords or even youtube. Maybe it's a screen size thing but the resolution just seems better here too. I did want to get something built in time for Halloween despite having any reasonable spooky scenery to work with. For anyone who remembers my multiple attempts at building a mystery mine-type attraction in RCT3 and PC1 this one hopefully takes it in a different direction (even I get bored by repeating my old stuff.) Here's another video and I'll also try to come back with some screenshots because I totally get the time investment in watching videos.
  5. I'm late to this thread, but I like what I'm seeing. I really like the rapids layout and that is an EXCELLENT wooden coaster, a very enjoyable ride. Carry on!

Just now seeing the post with the planter changes in front of the photo shop, I definitely like them better. Hopefully more landscaping options are on the way, I am tired of finding new ways to re-use the few we have.
  7. I'm liking the lighting, great ambience!
  8. Congrats on the accomplishment, I know that when you and Wagi team up the result is not going to be anything quick and easy. Or even anything that fits on one map. Speaking of, is the entire project done with more benches ready for release or are you two still slaving away like flying monkeys?

That was quite funny. Curious how the viewing numbers turn out, seems the only way to get around the YT algorithm is to pay them. Maybe the shorts have a higher shot at making the homepage
  10. Thank you, Shyguy and Trimo. Very kind words and I don't take compliments lightly.
  11. haha, thanks JB. self deprecation is part of the shtick; I really do like how this project has been turning out. (and just between us, some of my frustrated whines were funnier (to me) than anything I tried to do in the first 3 takes) 😜
  12. Thanks JB, I'm flattered you remember any of that cra-- I mean, majestical works of art! 😁 Well this video would've packed a little more punch if I hadn't just posted the best pics of this area a couple days ago. But if you enjoy hearing me make a fool of myself, this clip will be a treasure trove.
  13. Welcome back Wagi, glad you had a good trip. No need to publicize any scenery for me, I think my PC1 days have long ended. But I was very curious about the fonts and designs you came up with, I'll have to check out that site.
  14. Ha, you're in luck -- I think the whole area was re-pathed after these photos, they were taken awhile back. I think I went with the cobblestone everywhere once we were able to recolor it. Thanks Daniel!
  15. I'm calling it a steam fair, kind of like maybe a world expo dedicated to the exciting new technology coming to the 1800's. But yeah, without saying that word anywhere in the park, it's total steampunk and the western stuff kind of gets lost in it. Kind of a stretch but it let me go crazy with visuals. Yep, the balloons are workshop from 2 separate creators, I'm compiling a list of workshop codes to put in the next video.
  16. Beautiful, and great job on those mountains, almost thought we had a snow biome for a moment there! ;)
  17. SDC has an older section of their park called "Grand Exposition" while Dolly has a similar area called Country Fair, mostly just a place for the more common flat rides that don't really fit into a specific themed area. So I wanted to do something similar but was trying to come up with a unique theme that would tie the rides together while still fitting into the rustic/wild west nature of the park, with bonus points for myself if I could continue setting things in the 1800's. It started with what a Ferris Wheel might look like in that era, and then it kind of snowballed from there.

Did Wonder send out a memo stating "more blue"?
  19. Thank you Daniel! I'll have more pictures (or a video) soon
  20. Beautiful and clever stuff as always. The signage really stood out, are those billboards? And if so, which of you has the incredibly photoshop skills? :D

Hmmm... seems like the videos have now caught up to your picture posts. That means the next thing we see of Wonder World will be new! (er, new to this version)
  22. Well that is just adorable. I knew you'd cross over to the dark (and often frustrating) side eventually!

That makes it sound like Walt Disney's talking head is not an actual thing. Now I don't know what to believe.
  24. I've been in all day without any crashes YET, but it is kind of normal for game updates and DLC's to break a few things that didn't show up in testing. Sims 4 is famous for it. It does seem like these are the bugs that Frontier tends to focus on and usually issues a quick patch within several days of release. I have mixed thoughts on the pack, it's the typical finding one thing I don't like for everything I do like. The scalability options amongst different pieces are ridiculously and arbitrarily random, as are the ability to color or not color certain pieces. And NONE of the big issues I've had since day one were addressed once again in lieu of things that weren't really bothering or affecting me. I'm sure I'll find more...

Wonder World is looking better than ever! I've been thinking all this time that PC1 had better textures than PC2 but this picture indicates otherwise. Maybe it's just the pieces they imported from PC1 that aren't handling texture well... I forgot PC1 had that style of entrance gates, I'm glad they brought the zoo entrances over to PC2 but really wish they had done something similar with the ride gates.
