⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
Oh my gosh, we are on page TWO now. I need to type less in my updates, good lord. I didn't see this! I'm so sorry! Aww man! Yeah, that's the thing is I wish it could've been implemented better! I get that parades are big in parks, and they usually have wide paths to accommodate that, but... 16m is astronomical. I was hoping they would let us change the width of the parade paths (like who cares if the parade floats or entertainer points are "over the edge" frontier.. hon... listen to me when I say that having more options is better than a hella strict wide parade. like idc if they clip! let 'em! That's should be my call.) and I totally agree that the black border should get patched out, or at least be optional in a patch. But thanks dude, I'm trying my best with this park, it's so big and everchanging. Let's just hope they don't add some massive update that changes how like... water behaves or something dumb. Thank you so much! I mean, from the pictures nothing over there was - still isn't - finished. It's such a big park, and then rushing and taking time for 2 semesters of school, I crammed to get a lot in around the park and never got around to it. Which ultimately is a good thing, it didn't feel as bad when I had to take a bulldozer to most of it. But dang I miss that pier. But! Some good news! I was working on the area today actually, right before I filmed an update video! The trolley is kinda wonky, but the track is rather neat on the back and forth. It's the turn arounds that are... how to put this delicately... shite! But I will make sure that they are polished as much as they can be. The whole area I think is really pretty now. It might not be as covered and secluded as it was before, but I think it has it's own vibe that I can't wait to... grow. (hehe get it?) But I have some update pics from today! Me taking pictures of the same angle of the castle that is still unfinished:

Yeah, that's the part that really stinks. I think I'm lucky in that I was trying to emulate a Disney-style park to begin with so I had a Main Street already there + my original idea was to copy Epic Universe and do portals. That's why the "hub" is just a big ol' lake like the fountains. Like for example, the portal to Fantasyland was never meant to be a castle, it was meant to be Vikings and then... oops, a wild castle appears! I feel like parades could have been implemented better. I know they are based on a track ride, but why not let us choose the track width? We kinda can with the riverboats/river rapids track rides. I know that's not programming guests to stand on the side of the path, and that coding might be harder - is harder. I'm sure if they could've they would've. I at least would have liked the option to turn on or off that black band for track ride path crossings.

Paradise Pier - Disney & Seaside Boardwalk inspired park
Obsessed with this project! I've seen you around on Reddit and let me just say that your project is looking incredible so far! Everything looks so thoughtfully placed and the colors are so nice and lovely! I've only been to DCA twice, but the pier has left such an impression on me. It's certainly one of my favorite areas Disney has made recently. I absolutely agree that the Pixar overlay missed the mark, it's cute, but I'm full of the opinion that IP doesn't need to be in everything. Non-IP areas are often times better and more iconic! I'm building a whole main street that is based on Buena Vista Street, it's such a wonderful entrance and so beautifully detailed. If you are looking for tips and help with videos, ShyGuy is right! I'd be happy to help as well! <3 Looking forward to updates! And I can't want to see how you use some of the new pieces that came in the parades pack! They would be perfect for this theme!

⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
PARADES What a beautiful madness that made me rage quit my game the first day... I’m not kidding. There were whispers of parades, and so I expanded my park. I even created a new park to test out new ideas based around Epic Universe with parades and a Main Street central to the entire thing. Long story short, I got a parade route to fit into this park, I just had to be a little creative with it. This won’t be a very organized update, I might be jumping around a lot. Stick with me here though, I will try to go chronologically. Also... keep in mind that most of this was like… slapped together, and I haven’t moved most of the trees and street lights off the parade paths yet on Main Street, there are also some paths that need to be smoothed and fixed. It is all a bit WIP at the moment! I mainly just wanted to make sure I could get a parade in place. So, we can't have a parade on Main Street, with no Main Street! I built this before the pack came out. I had originally removed this building and wanted to replace it with something more substantial. Instead, I decided to just give it a third floor. I think Award Wieners is iconique. First things first… could a parade even fit in the space I had left? I kinda shoehorned a parade building into my backstage. It wasn't too terribly big, but surprisingly big enough for my parade! But if the parade wasn't going to fit here, there was one other area that I could sneak a parade building in. Next to the hotel entrance and the western shooting gallery ride. It would take up a lot of space int eh western area, but what else could I do? So I cleared some space and put a shell of a building over there just in case this one wasn’t going to work out… Because this park is going to have a parade, gosh-darn it! Now that I had that in place, I had to deforest and ruin the - well what I think is one of the best areas of my park. Carousel Gardens is a quiet little area that is kinda just here because I added that hotel and made the park lopsided. I had to fill in the space somehow. Carousel Gardens is just a happy little accident! You know how Rivers of America at Magic Kingdom WAS a nice quiet area in the middle of the park? A space to sit, and take it all in? That’s what I wanted this area to be. And when I put all those trees in, it really felt like you weren’t in a massive disney-style park, and in a smaller/older park. But I needed to clear it to create a parade path. I mainly wanted to move the Cactus Ridge Canyon “hexagon” down to ground level. That’s the only land where the entrance is elevated, and I wanted the parade to cross through all of them. On Main Street I had to cover a nasty transition, so I made a circular pavement - thing. I think I am going to replace the entrance hexagons with these circular pieces instead. Some old pictures of Carousel Gardens: But you can see the views! I will be adding more trees to this area - way more trees. But I’m trying to preserve these sightlines at least. I also built more of the hotel, added big balcony for fireworks viewing and a spot for guest services on the bottom. It's still floating. Using that anti-gravity technology... I still have a lot to fix however... Yeah... good lord... a lot to fix... But yeah, that's my update for today! Thanks for reading! I'll be making a YouTube update soon if anyone is interested in that! I've also been building a lot in Mythopolis, this update was meant to be that... but... PARADES! A Mythopolis update will happen very soon! Okay, bye for now!

Oh my goodness! Thank you! Also Wow! homepage spotlight! 😮🩷 That's a huge honor! Holy Guacamole! Thank you everyone! 😭 This is so kind of you so say! 😭 Your submarine makes the land! and that restaurant is the perfect cap to the place! I'm honored to call you my "planco bestie" because we truly have a great friendship that I really cherish, and IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF AQUALAND. "Alexa play like... some cheesy some about friendship." "Okay, I found this on the internet." Ahh... back when Aqualand was a bébé and the park was meant to be Epic Universe inspired not a castle park! 🤣 Honestly, I have the parade path in place, and... It's gonna take some expert level patience to get it all right and perfect... and I don't know if I have that in me in my 4 FPS park lol - ginormous is right! Ayy! Thanks Cody! I'm happy I got to expand Aqualand!

⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
So… the park got an expansion. Blame the mythical parades that may or may not be coming in the next DLC. Schrodinger's Parades. I mean. We'll find out in like a few hours... So. That joke is only funny for like... today. uhm. Anyway... So, in the usual way I do, I totally panicked and expanded my park because I wanted parades. More specifically, a parade warehouse. Because when Mainstreet sleeps, does it dream of electric parades? But also, where does the parade sleep at night? There's no space for a parade warehouse. There's no space for a parade warehouse. I panicked. I literally started a whole new park that I used to workshop new ideas in. We won't talk about that right now... Oh wait I can just… move the hotel + service roads up 10 blocks and… oh look I didn't have to panic and… Oh plenty of space to add a parade warehouse. And… oh what's that? Space for… an… Aqualand Expansion! Guess what!? That's right. Your mom's favorite boring purple rocked land with rides with an average excitement rating of 2.4, got an expansion! The land was built from November to March of 2024, and this expansion only took three weeks! Three weeks! I added a new restaurant, new track layouts for Shipwreck Reef and the Mariana Explorer, and a giftshop! So the first thing I did was push the Mariana Explorer back. It opened up a whole big patch of land. This let me solve two issues that had been plaguing the land since the December snow update opened my eyes to just how BLEAK… and cold… and lonely Aqualand is. It didn’t have any indoor dining locations. Most of this land was built before we got restaurants or giftshops, or even any other themes than the ones that shipped with the base game. This is when I enlisted the talented Miss Barbare to help me out, and she built a beautiful restaurant in the most impossible location. In a cliff, next to her other project, under a balcony and gelato shop for Mythopolis, on top of a backstage access road, pinned in on all sides. She managed to do the impossible, and it turned out incredible! So… When I moved the Mariana Explorer, I knew I wanted to fit a restaurant into the land, and a giftshop. I reworked the track of Shipwreck Reef and fit in a restaurant with some booths that overlook the track. Dinner and a show! Like the Rainforest Cafe! (RIP the one at the mall near me. I’ll always remember them bringing the little chocolate lava cake and screaming “VOLCANO!” I miss that place.) Anyway, I stole the bricks and restaurant units that MissBarbare set up, and created a restaurant. Ideally this would be a sit-down, and not a quick service dining location, but that’s alright. We can imagine, right!? I continued work on the ride, added rocks, coral, lights, and a monster animatronic on a rock for a fun little dude to watch while you eat! It’ll be fun for like… all of four minutes. Then you’re trying to eat your lasagna, and it’s like… okay dude, we get it. SHH… come on. I added a grift - er - I mean - gift shop in the land. The first modular gift shop in the land! I called it Sandy’s Sundries… in possibly the weirdest font possible. I really love how this shop turned out, its so dorky, and looks like a windows screensaver from the 1990s. I LOVE IT! It’s connected directly to the first project I ever did in the land, “The Sea Institute” and it’s almost a gateway to the rest of the expansion. If you want to get to the Mariana Explorer, the new restaurant or the new entrance to Shipwreck Reef you have to walk past this little store. I didn’t have the space to give everything an exit giftshop, so I think this is the next best option. ANYWAY, that’s a long… CRAZY LONG post! But Aqualand is done! And you can download it NOW and explore if you want! Workshop Code: 8V5T56CZT Also, If you want to see my build part of it, I released a video last week! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ohRKiqvXXo&t=38s I'll be making another one soon! I have a lot of footage! See ya real soon with updates from Mythopolis!

Thanks so much! I can't remember what the theme was originally going to be be, but it wasn't sci-fi like. It may have been Vikings before I landed on importing my Star Wars land. Either way, I'm really happy with how it's turning out! I can't wait to add some arcades in there in this summer when I get the chance! 😄

(POLL) Which park has the best background music at WDW?
The old Innoventions Music Loop at EPCOT is just chefs kiss. Same with the old... Well actually I don't know if it's the "old," but the Tomorrowland background loop is so good! It inspired me to write my own original music for my theme park land! 😄🩷

⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
Oh my goodness, I can't wait to see it! An exact recreation sounds incredible, and sounds absolutely perfect for Wonder World if that's where you decide to put it! My idea for it was more like if they had built it at EPCOT in one of the Communicore areas in the 2000s when Innoventions had become kinda... meh. Like, don't get me wrong I love LOVE EPCOT, but in the late 2000s, it was in need of a face lift. Especially in and around Innoventions. It became a weird hallway with nothing to see. This is totally off-topic I know. BUT... yeah! That was kinda my twist on it, something that would slot in comfortably at EPCOT with a basis in modern science and be less avant garde than the OG at Disneyland - not that there isn't pure artistry in that ride, it's beautiful, I just don't have the chops to build it in the game! Plus the gift shop could sell like... little microscopes and like DiscoveryKids science sets. 😄🩷 it could be so cute! Toes not stepped! If anything it's a tango of ideas! But I have 2 left feet, so... I mean, toes probably still stepped on, but in the literal sense. 🤣🫶

Hehe thank youuu! They are mostly made from the ToyBox parts I believe! They won't be floating once things get filled in more in the city! I'm excited for the ride! I've been doing a lot of research into the old ride in Tomorrowland! I'd love to try and make a modern take on it, it could be a lot of fun! 😄 🩷Chumps is one of my favs! It's based on the "Keystone Clothiers" building in Hollywood Studios, but it's wonky and wider haha Oh, it's very hodge-podge! I think this is my issue in this area. I sometimes work from the top down to get the sightlines, and then when my brain can't fill in the middle, I overthink trying to fill in the gaps and go, "well now I hate it." 🤣 I've known I've wanted that little palace facade for while, and the ride that's in that location... it's like the 9th time I've rebuilt it lol. Like I don't know why I work top down? It works, but sometimes it just makes things harder haha. I also think that with the myology theme, I've really struggled to add detail with the theme. I gotta just sit and think really had about the pieces, and make a storyline with them the best I can. 🧐

⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
Thank you for your kind words!!! 😄🩷 Means a lot to hear that! This park has been a labor of love, and a real puzzle in places to put together. It's been a lot of fun despite how I might've made it sound lol. So... I tried to fix the image issue by uploading the image again, but I can't seem so delete the image from the "layout" because the image doesn't seem to exist anymore. Hmm. Weird. I don't know! 🤣 I'm not good with technology! And I'm unfamiliar with the format of internet forums 😅 I'll get the hang of it eventually! But hopefully you can see the image!

⭐OAKWORLD - A Disney Inspired PC2 Park
Ah! Hello! It’s been a while and I should’ve posted this many… many eons ago. I finished school for this semester (Woo!) So I have some free time to spend, so let's get the ball rolling, shall we? I started this project literally the day the game came out. I’ve literally said it a bazillion times, but it was only ever meant to be a dark ride, using the aquatic theme. Just a little omni mover. And then it became two rides. “Check the sightlines... check the sightlines…” Three rides. A whole land! “Check the sightlines... check the sightlines…” Plus a mythology land. Then a Mainstreet. A hub… “Yeah I can fit a whole Disney castle over there. That’ll work fine,” he says, cracking his knuckles and chugging his third monster energy of the day. Then I lost the plot entirely. I added a hotel… (two of them actually,) and service roads to get to those hotels… Three more lands and… fast forward to almost TWO years later, several collaborations with fellow creators later, two semesters of college under my belt now, and we have Planet Park! Which… the name… I’m still not totally sold on? Planet Park consists of 7 themed areas: Art Deco Mainstreet: Home to the biggest FPS drainer in the park, the hotel entrance. One of my favorite areas in the park, just based purely on vibes. Carousel Gardens: Basically just the “hub” but like, giving it a name makes it sound more fancy. Aqualand: The first area completed in the park. The reason why this park is this park. Mythopolis: Do you ever build a facade of something, and then design an area around it? Turns out… horrible idea. This land is a Mt. Olympus-sized thorn in my side. Cactus Ridge Canyon: One of the only lands set in stone. No literally. So much of this land and its theming is just rockwork - so it’s both very fun and very time intensive. But it looks great! Atoms landing: If that Zootopia Land at Shanghai Disneyland, 1960s Tomorrowland and current day cheesy “Astro Blasters” had a baby, it would be Atoms Landing. I even wrote some original music for it! Fantasyland: Is someone playing Funkytown? Why do Ogre’s have layers? None of these questions will be answered in Fantasyland, but at least it’s cute! I will post SO MANY photos, but I wanted to give a little story before we just… jump into the madness that is this park. MAINSTREET Gosh I love Mainstreets. I love that they are the first things you see all happy and bright in the morning, and the last things you walk though when you're shuffling out of the park beaten down and broken at closing. Just me? Okay... My mainstreet is mostly based around Buena Vista Street at Disney’s California Adventure, and the little, itty-bitty main street at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There’s just something about Art Deco architecture that just scratches that itch in my brain. This hotel has inset windows, and my computer - my laptop - sounds like a jet engine when I'm near it. I could cook an egg on my computer when this hotel is on screen. Look at the view! CAROUSEL GARDENS Originally I wanted the park to be an Epic Universe clone - with a twist! The twist being… it would have a castle, and a hub like a disney park, and a carousel in the hub. Groundbreaking. I hope you can tell I'm being sarcastic, because that's not much of a twist... that's like a 15 degree twist. a twizzle maybe. When I added the entrance hotel, I added a whole street at an angle just so I could get that view of the towers like the Beverly Hills Hotel. It made the whole park lopsided, which threw off the whole park! Suddenly, I had so much space on one side, and no idea what to do with it. I guess I’ll add a chair-swing, a carousel… some kiosks… It’s cute! For a little stretch of the park, it almost feels like you aren’t in a massively huge Disney park, and it feels kinda cozy. (The pictures I’m posting are the most recent. With the new updates coming, and the potential for parades, I’ve changed my hub to have a rotary at the entrance, a potential for fireworks seating by the water. I used to have more walkways and trees in this area. It looks a bit discombobulated at the moment, but I hope the general vibe comes across even if it doesn’t look the best.) The carousel was closer to the front of the park, but I moved it over here! No idea if this is where it will stay, but... hey, that's where it is now so... I dunno. Imagine like... walking through here on like a 74 degree day, you're walking to your favorite attraction because you look on the app and see it only has a 15 min wait... the smell of popcorn is thick in the air, the carousel is spinning, the birds are chirping. CUZ ITS A PERFECT DAYYYY, NOTHINS STANDIN' IN MY WAYYY. Oh, sorry, I was Elle Woodsing again. Anyway. AQUALAND Seeing as this land has mostly stayed the most consistent, I will link to a cinematic I took of the land when I finished it! Because the most recent changes to the park happened to this land, I will make the first "update!" post about the Aqualand expansion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkV5GE4jc2E Look how CUTEEE! Okay, more on this land later! I promise! MYTHOPOLIS I hate this land. I hate this theme really. Gosh, it’s just hard to use and make look unique without just repeating yourself a bunch. I tried my best, but I’m sure you can see that I kinda just gave up. I literally started the rest of the park + 2 hotels + relearned music production and created original music for Atoms Landing, did my first full YEAR of college.. And this theme is still just… not speaking to me. Which is why I asked MissBarbare to come in and remix my village facades to make them more steampunky! The list of attractions should include: “Olympians Journey” (Splash mountain but it’s mythology.) “Curse of Medusa” A launch coaster (hidden in/under the big Mt. Olympus) “Flight of Icarus” spinner flatride. “Minotaur” a dark ride and the exterior is based off the palace of Knossos The only ride finished is the flat ride. I love the mythology theme! :) It’s my favorite theme to use in the game! :) will reverse psychology work? I love it so much! :) please work. It’s so fun! :) Check the sightlines...Check the sightlines... This video makes me cackle, and... well... here ya go. I mean, MissBarbare Just does stunning work. ROUND OF APPLAUSE. 👏 She transformed this space and made it more steampunky, and it really gave me some hope that I can make this theme into something better than just... generic mythology/Mediterranean. Not that there is anything wrong with doing that - that's not at all what I'm saying - I've tried to get it to work in this park for nearly two years, and I can't. I just gotta pivot. PIVOT. PI-VAUGHTTT. I'm being dramatic on purpose. It's actually my mission this summer to finish this land. Like it truly is. IT WILL HAPPEN! CACTUS RIDGE CANYON Welcome to landscape simulator 2k26. So the lore for this land is that it’s an abandoned mining town. Florals for spring. Groundbreaking. Unlike Mythopolis I built the rides first, then got bogged down by the rockwork. My second least favorite thing to do in this game besides career mode. Honestly a pretty cute little land! The list of attractions: “Minetrain” It’s basically just Big Thunder, but the first drop is kinda like Expedition Everest. “Raft Ride” unnamed… “Mini Train” for the scenery! Reminiscent of “Journey Through Nature's Wonderland” at Disneyland. I dunno, just a cute, quiet little train journey through the landscape. “Mine Drop” x2, a thrill, and wouldn't it be cool to have little “floors” with mine carts and TNT and stuff on triggers? YEAH! EXPLOSIONS! “Shooting gallery” is it really a western area without a shooting gallery? It’s going to be hidden behind a facade of a western storefronts. “Flippy-flip-the-flipity-flip-flop-floop-flip” which I’ll be theming to a steampunk machine - and no that's not the name of it, but it's the one that like… flips you. The game says it’s called “mecha roller” which is SO BORING. Beaver Dam Bridge in the background on the right... I just thought it was funny! ATOMS LANDING Originally this land was going to be a Star Wars land. Like I was building a version of Batuu in a separate map, and I was just going to import it. Sorted! Only it wasn't. Because then it was going to be a weird 50s Star Wars land. Then it was going to be a toyland. Then it was going to be an “Aliens invade” land. Then it was going to be… Basically what I'm getting at is that this land has had an identity crisis since the beginning. Just like real Tomorrowland! Truly a real authentic Disney parks experience! So, that pesky little toybox park came out, and I wanted to do something with it… but what. Well, I asked MissBarbare if she'd be interested in doing a dark ride together. At this time, the shooty ride was new, and Max Stormcloud was an icon, a legend, a force to be reckoned with. We saw an opportunity to make a “Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters” clone, and OH BOY it is turning out so good! I may have bit off a little bit more than I could chew before my semester started again, so it’s a bit of a WIP, but that’s alright. I wanted to make a little city like the one in the Zootopia Land at Shanghai Disneyland. I LOVE that land. Well, kinda. I don’t understand dedicating that much land to one single attraction in a park, but the land really has so many adorable details. I wanted to keep the idea of the 50s, and make it kinda retro? This area also gets some updates soon, but I will keep it hush hush for now. Attractions: “A.C.E. Laboratories" an omnimover based off the old "Adventures Thru Inner Space” at Disneyland. “Max Stormcloud Saves the Universe!” AIR GUITAR SOLO “Orbitron” Spin-spin flatride. “Crystal Space Mountain” so it’s like Space Mountain, but also like crystal pepsi, so… It's like both. So it's worse in every conceivable way, and leaves you confused as to why they made it in the first place. Look at that anti-gravity technology keeping up the little scale buildings! The future is here, the future is NOW! FANTASYLAND Sorry I can’t hear you, can you turn down the Shrek 2 soundtrack? I SAID CAN YOU TURN DOWN THE SHREK 2 SOUNDTR-thank you. This is the least developed land. The castle isn't finished because “I will get to it when I get to Fantasyland.” Meh, it’s not my favorite theme, but the sorcery pack is pretty cool! Why is it based off “Far Far Away?” Because I thought the meme of making a Fantasyland sign as the hollywood sign was funny, and then I made it visible over the shoulder of the castle, and then It became too funny, and then I spent too long manicuring the sightline so that the sign could still be visible from mainstreet, even if my laptop didn’t allow the art shapes to be seen that far away, so now I’m stuck with this shitpost of a meme, and this land that is themed to Shrek. Like I’m not even sorry, that movie is a masterpiece. If you’ll exCUSE ME, I NEED A HEROOO. PLANNED ATTRACTIONS: “Dueling minecart coasters” in the Hollywood hills “Carousel” obligatory behind the castle “Teacups” spot of tea? “Some dark ride” Dude I don’t know. It’s Fantasyland, it needs dark rides! “WIZ BIZ” I wanna use those wizard animatronics in a dark ride SO BAD so a ride based around like… WIZARD BUSINESS would be so fun. Well that just looks like fun. So anyway... That's Planet Park. I need to find a better way to upload images haha but ~WEEE! I will be back to post more! - Oak :)
