It all started a few month ago with an idea. We all know theme park magic is real but WHAT IF it wasn't the only magic? There's a side of Planet Coaster that I feel is underused and it's the whymsical , the fantastical , magic! I got the idea of a park where magic is a common as electricity. But this idea was in the back of my mind for a while and I tried to focus on Fancyful Oak and a collab project and not start too many projects...
Then a few days ago I got inspired and starting drawing.

A quick rough sketch but I needed to get the idea out of the system.
Then of course my mind is what it is and needed to build it in planco and so it's what I did.

Let's talk about a few choices , first of all , the broken archway , wanted to break the symmetry of the entrance by breaking a part but also , the floating blocks add to the magical elements of the park , same with the floating crystals.
For the name after overthinking it way too much , decided on Luz Magika. Luz is a nickname my best friend gave me based on a character Luz Noceda in the animated show the Owl House. And also a play on word since my real name is Lucie so Luz fit me well <3
And Magika , well because magic! And the K is for the looks.
By this point , I started to be a bit influenced by Epic.
And continued building.

So this is the entrance so far with a bit more hours of progress.
The pattern on the floor with the star screen with water on top is meant to create some nice reflection of the entrance and also create that magic elements and introduction to this Whimsy park.
On the side , I'm planning to have 2 mosaics as I love them but still need to figure out what I will do.

But while I wait to find what I'm planning to do , just use some color that fit but that I remember that I'll need to do something.
I'm really excited as this is the first project that I'm showing from scratch since Fancyful Oak and Queendom where already started when I joined and that is very fun <3

Solid start here, I like the broken archway.

I like the whimsical theme! The night shot of the entrance is beautiful with all the blue and gold colors. It would be kinda neat if the missing crystals in the entrance arch (1 large, 1 small) were somehow repurposed somewhere near the arch; put to use in some sort of magical theming.... Just a thought.

Watching this come to life is exciting. I love the Epic Universe influence and I cannot wait for more!

Time to enter the park and let's talk about my plans for the mainstreet!

Let's step beyond the gate to start in a small plaza that will connect right away to a very special mainstreet! You'll be greated by a monument that I'll need to figure out , map stands and on the left and right , a first aid and guest services buidlings.

While similar , those two building have slight variation in architecture and layout to make them unique.

And now time to what will make my mainstreet unique , under the big metal will lay the mainstreet or should I say mainstreets , as the mainstreet will be cut into 3 levels , the left side , middle and right side. Inspired by Covent Garden in London , the covered mainstreet will be in 2 levels. The lower level will be accessible trough stairs or 2 accessibility lift that off course are themed to fit the area!.

Won't talk about the restaurant being built already as I'll wait till I have an interior to show first! And let's finish today update with a view of the fountain at the back of the mainstreet.

Next plan are to start the mainstreets and figure out what's behind it!

The map stands are so cool! How did you do the roofs on those, they almost look like the bunting texture? The multilevel mainstreet is a cool idea too. The lifts look good. I also love the floating crystal an spiraling spheres in the fountain!
I don't want to sounds to critical but I think a different color shade or opaque percentage for the glass panels in the floor will look better. It looks very white and not very transparent. I think a more blue color and more transparent look will be more realistic and helps viewing the flowers below. But it's your park and idea so you can do what you like best.

Wow, such beautiful and elegant structures for the Guest Services and First Aid buildings! I applaud your extra effort! The elevators/lifts look fantastic! Like Dexter said, making the Main Street(s) on two levels is a wonderful choice.

So I did used some canopy from the new Parade Pack having 4 of them to create that very interesting texture that I discovered by accident as I was just looking for an easy half dome piece that doesn't looked as plasticky as the art pieces from example.
Also tweaked the glass floor thanks to your feedback <3
