Great job on this. I look forward to seeing you recreate this in PZ2. I'm not familiar with this zoo, but surprised to see an observation tower. I though my Animal World tower was a unique idea. Never knew a real world zoo had one too.

Thanks for your very kind words and for taking the time to view the entire thread. Yes, actually building a new park, instead of recreating my old ones, was a bit daunting, especially using PZ, as opposed to what I am more used to (RCT3, PC1 & 2) I think this started a little rough, as I learned the ins and outs of PZ, but I feel I'm finally hitting my stride, and excited to show what I'm currently working on, plus the future additions I have planned.

I love seeing people recreate their PC1 parks in PC2. So fun to see the huge boost in quality and details.

So I looked it up and California is required to have 1 handicap accessible space per 25 total spaces. My handicap lot has 57 spots. It is estimated that Disneyland Resort has around 640! So my handicap lot may actually be a bit small. 😉

I use Davinci Resolve for video editing. It's free, very powerful, but has a steep learning curve. There's a huge manual you can download to get you started. Although, whenever I have a question on how to do something with the software, asking AI such as Copilot, always gets me the answer I need and honestly is quicker and easier to understand. I think you need a pretty beefy computer to run it, but as its free, you can check it out, see how it runs, and see if you like it. For screen and video capture, there are many ways to do this. I use Nvidia overlay which, of course, you need an Nvidia graphics card. If you're happy with the way you're currently doing it, I see no reason to change.

The big problem with parades is that Frontier made them so you have to create the parade first, and then build your park around them, instead of making them easy to add to an existing park. So good for you for your perseverance. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

The park's looking great so far. The entrance is especially well done. This reminds me, I have plans to visit LA Zoo, hopefully before the year's end. Also, great to see another JWE3 park here at the forums. My Primeval World needs some competition.

Yes, I think those are safe. The best way to test any mod is after using it, delete the mod and try to load the park. If the file loads fine, then it's safe to use, even if it breaks in the future.

I DM'd you, but yes, it's best to avoid using mods right now. I've created a non-modded version of the park, as it is all very up in the air whether or not modding will continue for this game. And if an update breaks the mods, they may not ever be fixed, and it could result in a broken park file that can't ever be accessed again.

I believe all updates and DLCs are bundled together and are automatically installed when released. It's all added to your hard drive. That way you can still view blueprints or parks downloaded from the workshop that contain stuff from DLCs you don't own.

Zimbwowee Village construction complete with addition of the Mnandi Grill The Zimbwowee Village Hostel has been converted into the park's new eatery, the Mnandi Grill. Mnandi is the South African word for "delicious". The Mnandi Grill is a counter service restaurant, primarily serving hamburgers. The First Aid and Baby Center is located behind the restaurant.
