  1. Who knows. As usual, Frontier's announcements are overflowing with information. At this point, we should get a ton of bug fixes in this update as well. I'd be happy with just that. But I'm not expecting much. But I AM happy to see arcades, something I've been wanting ever since PC1. Just hope they'll be easy to skin and hide the annoying Planet Coaster theme. I don't want a Whack-a-King Coaster in my park.

The San Diego Zoo has lots of these small exhibits scattered throughout the zoo.

Wanda has composed herself. Things look much different when it's light...and when you're soused. Meanwhile... We're moving out into the bush...

  6. If you're on a pc and using mouse and keyboard, using a controller is much smoother for doing walkthroughs.

I do pretty much the same with my videos...Reshade to mute the saturation, Skystudio to set lighting and all shot in 4k.

Top notch stuff! And that reshade (or whatever) you used made this look like real world ride footage. I had to pick my jaw off the floor after I watched this.

Passing through the small employee lounge on the way to the exhibit. Not creepy, no not at all.

Currently in the process of replacing some of the tacky AI artwork.
  11. I love seeing these old classic parks recreated in the game.

I've been putting off doing this ride for so long and I finally got inspired to begin work. This will be the 4th time I've built this ride, and honestly I wasn't looking forward to doing it again. Each version has been vastly different from the previous one, and I was having a difficult time coming up with a new idea. But I've decided this will be similar to the PC1 version but with vast improvements and a completely different ending. Now, if I can just get its excitement level over 2.0 so that a few guests will actually want to ride it... A little concept art tease...

  14. Those giant popsicles (or whatever they are) look really tasty. 😋 Love the burning marshmellows.

We're getting new pavement at the park (due to a mod). The old pavement on the right looks too much like dirt. The new, on the left, I feel looks more realistic for a theme park.

I rarely plot anything on paper. A lot of the time I use images from Google to give me ideas. For Wonder World, I'm using my earlier builds as reference. And lately, using AI to help me create images to reference when I just can't come up with a design I like on my own..

Some backstage shots... Transfer tracks to remove trains from the main track for maintenance and storage. (All mechanisms and supports are custom built.) This piece slides over so trains can be sent into the storage room. Storage and Maintenance. Trains can be moved from the middle storage track onto the side tracks for maintenance. The catwalks rise up and down to accommodate the moving track pieces. This train is about to be moved to the main track for a test run. Perkins is getting all tingly inside anticipating the new toys he'll get to play with here.

I was hesitant to put up a video showcasing AI, and rightly so. Apparently Youtube hates AI content, as I got 141 impressions which measures how many times my video thumbnail was shown to viewers. The previous video on Laffitte Landing got 6.4k impressions, which btw is about 3x as many as my average video. I guess Youtube LOVES pirates. And apparently viewers hate AI as well as I've so far only gotten 20 views 🤪 and actually LOST a subscriber. I find it quite humorous. That video was mainly meant for my diehard fans who I thought might find it interesting and funny. So I don't really care how well it does. Meanwhile... 19. Honestly, I'd be fine with that. And hopefully what they do give us is easily customizable so we can skin them to create any look we want.
  20. Love the overhead shot. Are those billboards in the bottom left corner that you're using to get the scale right?
  21. -For how long have you been creating trough games ? Like Wagi, nearly 30 years I would guess. -Do you create trough other form (traditional medium , digital drawing , gamedev etc...) if yes can you please precise it? I've dabbled in many conventional art forms, drawing (pencil, charcoal, pastels) acrylic and oil painting, music composition, scale model building, video, and game design. Today, it's strictly theme park building in games like Planet Coaster 1&2, Planet Zoo, and Jurassic World Evolution 3. -Do you consider your creation inside those game to be art? why? Yes. I have always enjoyed creating things. I consider myself an artist and designer, so yes, I consider my creations in these games as another form of art. -Why do you create trough those games ? Because there's no mess to clean up afterwards. 😁 It's also a lot cheaper. I originally created scale modes, including a couple theme parks, including Wonder World, which I've built over and over in theme park sims. I don't have the space, the patience, or the eyesight to create miniature models like I did in the past. -You share your creation trough forums why is that? Forums allow me to document my progress in an organized manner, and allow others to view each of my projects from start to finish, each in their own separate thread. Forums like this create a more intimate community, as opposed to the bigger platforms like Discord and Reddit, where your work will get lost among the mass of other posts. -Do you consider the game you're creating with a game or more like an engine / another creative software? I don't consider these games. The game elements are, honestly, poorly designed and don't interest me at all. I use these games as a form of expression and a platform in which to create my parks. RCT3 ONLY : -Why are you using a 22 years old game when more modern alternative exist? I no longer play RCT3. -The game has an expansive list of mods and custom assets , does the original game still impact your creation or as it just become a simple base to use all of those assets? When I played the game, yes, it was a great base for the 1000's of custom created assets. I would have lost interest in the game years before I actually stopped playing it. Custom content was pretty much the only reason I played it so long. -From what I understand some of you even create custom assets in the game can you explain your creative workflow? I created many CS sets for RCT3. I mainly created sets of objects I needed to create the parks I was building. I then released these sets to the public, in hopes they would find them useful for their own work. They did. 😉 -Some of you have been very influential in the modern park tycoon game trough your mods/creations. Would you like to share your tough on it? I think my RCT3 parks were very popular because of the CS I was creating for them. People were excited to see the new assets I was using to create my parks, knowing they would soon get their own hands on these sets to use in their own parks. When people think of me today, they still associate me with RCT3 and my CS sets. I got my 15 minutes of fame. Something I feel proud of.
  22. Finally, an update from Frontier! Looks like we're getting Arcades in a free update in April. I can finally build my Expo 3000 Arcade! No DLC until June, though. Here's the official announcement. https://www.planetcoaster.com/news/2026-03-31/month-planet-coaster-2-march-2026?utm_source=discord&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=pc2_ongoing&utm_content=pc2_march_roundup

Just a little video I popped out to show some of my struggles with AI.
  24. Too Much Scaling mod lets you scale everything (maybe not grid-based items) down to as little as 1%. It's available on Nexus mods. But once you use it and scale things smaller than the game allows, if you remove the mod, everything reverts back to the smallest size the game allows it to be. Also, if you share or upload the park to the workshop, anyone who downloads the park must also have the mod installed. There's no worry that you will break anything, or not be able to access the file if you remove the mod, so it is very safe mod to use.
