Grid pieces may also be scalable now too. Looking at the video, the scale icon is not greyed out when they are rotating the grid based objects. Not sure though, as these objects contain vendor shops, which certainly couldn't be scaled. Although that would be pretty cool, especially for your Wizard of Oz park. You could gave munchkin vendors. 🤣

Wonder Beach Boardwalk opened its doors for one day to host a sneak preview of the Vertigo coaster. Lots of small changes have been made to the ride and area around it. For one, the ride entrance got a new sign. The Vertigo Gifts shop got a slew of new merchandise. Camera's have been mounted atop the ride. The new Vertigo Photos stand, to sell on-ride photos. New transfer tracks have been added to the ride.- The Wonderful World of OZ

I'm sure PC2 development is not ending. They didn't spend all the time and money over the last several months giving us free updates, just to stop development. I'm sure they have many DLCs planned and I expect to see at least a few of these released before Frontier decides to pull the plug. And the success of these DLCs will determine how long the game is supported.- NO MORE UNLOCKED STREAMS.....
Sadly, most game companies today are not the same companies they once were. How many once great game developers and publishers have gone down the tubes, or are even hated today? EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Bioware... the list goes on. They've either gotten too greedy, lost their creative flare, produce buggy and low quality games, or all of the above. A company is only as good as the people who work for it. And lets face it, the talented people who created many of the great games of the past are simply not around any more. Which is why every game Ubisoft releases is just a clone of the previous game, just with a different setting. Bethesda, known for its mega hits such a Oblivion and Skyrim, is now making duds like Fallout 76 and Starfield. The talent simply isn't there anymore. Now I'm not saying Frontier is making duds or is not capable of making good games, because they certainly are. But the way they run the company is much different today than it was even a few years ago. The industry has changed (for the worse) plus the people running and working for the company are not the same people who were there years ago. The entire business model has changed, and the need to cut costs, doing the absolute minimum when it comes to community relations, and the almost desperate need to come up with ways to make the most money possible (in other words, milking the players with endless, small, over-priced DLCs or the horrible Pay-to-Play business models seen in many MMOs) is now the norm. So what I'm getting at is these are the reasons why once beloved companies, become hated over time. And this doesn't only affect the game industry. Take Disney, for instance. It is so far from the beloved company it once was. And that's mostly because the talent that Walt assembled in the old days is now gone. It is "Disney" in name alone. They don't seem to be able to come up with anything new and original...just uninspired remake after remake of old, Disney classics. And what's coming out of the Imagineering Dept. for the theme parks is continually less and less impressive. It's because legends such as Bob Gurr, Tony Baxter, and Joe Rohde, no longer work there. So ya, it's just a sign of the times. The entertainment industry as a whole is populated by less talented, less creative, and less passionate people and seem to be only motivated by greed. Yes, there are still a few beacons of light in the game development industry, like Larian Studios, and CD Projekt Red. And Frontier certainly hasn't sunk as low as some of the companies I've mentioned. But they could certainly do better. Planet Coaster 2 should have been a revolutionary improvement over the first. Instead, it seems more like a cash grab with a slightly improved engine and a DLC-sized addition of Water Park stuff. There ARE some really great improvements that they DID make, and I am quite happy with many aspects of the game. But those "wow" moments we got seeing many of the new features and attractions in the first game are simply not there in PC2. But there is no reason why we can't see some great innovative additions to the game in the future...as long as there are still some talented, creative, and passionate developers working for Frontier. But I don't really know if there are, as it IS simply not the Frontier that is used to be.- Wonder Beach Boardwalk
The Midway Games remain mostly unchanged from the way they looked when this project was first begun, in the early days of Planet Coaster 1. A few minor fixes, plus some new prizes is about all that has changed from the original version. Realistic cotton candy from the workshop to replace the colored trash bags that were originally used to pass for the stuff.- NO MORE UNLOCKED STREAMS.....
That would be the way to do it. Follow up what is most likely disappointing news to most, with something to renew the hype. But no. Another fail for Frontier who doesn't seen to know how to do anything right.- NO MORE UNLOCKED STREAMS.....
I guess the fact that not that many people are upset by this shows that it may be no big deal. In all fairness, I expect viewership of the streams was dropping, so they made the decision to just cancel them. Still, notice literally only hours before the expected stream is not nice.- GAME DEAD
Yep. I silently keep an eye on the Frontier Discord and I see you attacked over and over again for simply posting your views. I will never post anything over there, at least in the general chat, as the same thing happened to me the one time I did post. With the low maturity level over there, it's not worth my time.- GAME DEAD
No livestreams, period. Over at the Frontier Unlocked Discord, this is the first time I've actually seen a bunch of criticism for the game from the fanboys over there. Of course, NOW we see a rep from Frontier make an appearance and try to calm them down. We're told how this is a good and positive thing and of course all is good now, because people can be so gullible.- Xeconstruction LTD Presents... Disneyland Adventure - Theme Park!
- NO MORE UNLOCKED STREAMS.....
Yes, and since the forums closed to focus support on their Discord server, there has literally been no communication from anyone associated with Frontier on that server. Also, I expected the announcement that the livestreams were over. They have been doing weekly youtube trailers for JWE3, and I figured that that format would replace the Unlocked streams, as it's much cheaper to do. The fact that they literally waited until the day of the anticipated livestream to make the announcement is reprehensible IMHO. The fact that we haven't had as much as a hotfix or anything to fix the myriad of problems with the game in 2 months now, the fact that there are things posted in the Issue Tracker since the game released and have not been addressed, proves that Frontier simply doesn't care about their player base. It's about money now, plain and simple. The days of dev teams making games they are passionate about are over. Frontier has moved over to the dark side, and there is no turning back now. I was actually using their Discord server to add to the "Suggestions" section, but I now know that this too, is a complete waste of time, as Frontier will do what Frontier wants to do, with no concern for the community. Does this mean PC2 is dead. I certainly doubt it. They haven't milked us for all the DLCs I'm sure they have planned. IF, they have a plan, which I sometimes wonder about. Right now, it's all about getting as many pre-orders for JW3 as they possibly can. So I don't expect much support for PC2 for awhile. Any DLC that we expected to be coming soon will most likely not drop until Christmas, if anything this year. Too bad I love the kind of games they make. I will continue to play them, and I'm sure I'll buy the DLCs, if and when they come. But I'm not doing it for any kind of support I might have for Frontier. They are just another greedy game development company, like what nearly all the other game companies have become.- Lafitte Landing

Work nears completion of the second floor. There are a couple of deluxe hotel rooms on the second floor. And nearby, is the Ramparts Coffee Counter. The Ramparts Coffee Counter is literally a small hole in the wall, located outside on second level of the castle. It's a small, secluded area, situated far away from the hustle and bustle of the lower level of the resort. While historians know little of the life of Jean Lafitte, there are accounts that he married a woman named Madeline Regaud around 1820. History gets muddled even further here at Lafitte Landing, with this new food spot possibly paying homage to his possible spouse in which she possibly opened a baguette stand to help finance his pirating expeditions. (Mr. Wonder came up with this sh*t, I just post the screenshots) A treasure map hangs above the condiment stand. Night time.- Lafitte Landing
This was a cheap refurb of what was originally a poorly designed gift shop. The objects above the "treasure chests" are descriptions of the different packages you can purchase, which I've shown twice already in my other threads. So I didn't bother to show them again here. This hotel is part of my Worlds of Wonder Resort, which is comprised of 5 parks built with 3 different games, all being built concurrently. There will be a Magic Memories shop every park. You can check out this project here if you like. https://parkcrafters.com/topic/518-worlds-of-wonder/- Back on the forums
Welcome to ParkCrafters! I remember a few of your past rides, based on The Witcher and Fallout. As an avid RPGer, I absolutely loved them. Do you have any plans for any new game-based attractions (Cyberpunk 2077, Elder Scrolls, hint hint)? Looking forward to seeing whatever you do.- Lafitte Landing
The packages include unlimited photos taken by park photographers and on-ride cameras. All photos are uploaded to your package's account and stored in a digital album. Some parks offer other extras. Disney offers "Magic Shots" that incorporate digital elements like Disney characters, animated effects, or props into your pictures. Wonder's "WONDERful Memories" also allows you to add any of your own personal photos to the digital albums. If you don't buy a package, you have to pay for each on-ride photo separately as well as photos taken by park photographers.- Copper Creek (update 09.08.25)

A photo of the Flamingo Exhibit from my recent trip to SeaWorld. They've got Animal World beat for most flamingos on exhibit, possible the largest collection of flamingos anywhere in the US.- Lafitte Landing
Work continues on the second floor of Lafitte Castle. This was Timeless Treasures, a small souvenir shop. It has been refurbished and now is another WONDERful Memories DigiPass Outlet. Mr. Wonder is really pushing this concept. As with the other outlets, you can buy your choice of digital photo packages...a single-park one day, multi-park one day, or annual multi-park package. Across the way, there was originally a restroom facility. As there are now restrooms on the first floor, these have been removed... ...and replaced with a spacious Conference Room. You've got a nice view of the downstairs atrium from up here.- what expansion pack you love to see come to planet coaster 2
Well, yes. And Frontier even said this back during Planet Coaster 1's original development. But that's no excuse. Planet Coaster should do everything and have everything RCT3 had and more... much more. It's over 20 years later and it's using the same, although greatly modified, engine. This should be the ultimate theme park builder. If Frontier sticks with PC2, they could achieve this. But they gave up supporting PC1, prematurely IMHO, so it's doubtful that PC2 will ever become what we want it to. Frontier is doing a balancing act with all it's different franchises, all being released at nearly the same time. Another game is supposedly coming out closely following JW3 (in the following year). That's too many games for one medium-sized development company to fully support. We're already seeing how this is negatively affecting PC2's development. In the end, the winner will be determined by it's financial success, and the Planet Coaster franchise is currently at last place, behind ED, PZ and JW.
