  1. Very nice. Not a lot of people make firework shows in this game. Do you plan to make a video? I think that would do a better job to show off the show. Just a suggestion...😉
  2. Very nice indeed. Very colorful and great detail work. Clever homage to the Melies film "Trip to the Moon" with the "ship" stuck in the eye of the moon.
  3. Happy Birthday wolfpaw! 🥳
  4. I love this area of the park...especially the landscaping with the purple rocks and waterfalls. So creative!

Thanks, Dutchie. It warms my heart to know that you, and a few others, have such feelings and memories of this park. It does keep me inspired to press on with this project, which just seems more daunting every time I attempt to build it again. I'd probably give up it it weren't for the support of the community.
  6. So nice to see you (and others) posting your parks here. Forums are so much better, imho, for showcasing your work, so we can see how your park starts out and grows over time. It creates a more permanent home for your park, as apposed to Discord, which is not very well suited for that sort of thing. Oh, and I love your park logo with the owl. So whimsical and, dare I say, "magical".
  7. I use Imgur. It's pretty good, but slightly confusing on how to post pics. But I can walk you through it if you choose to go that route.
  8. Hey there, Hi there, Ho there. You're as welcome as can be! Okay, so It's not Gilbert and Sullivan. Cultured I'm not. Someone will have to fill me in on Wolf's reputation. I had no idea of his celebrity status.

    Looks great at night!
  10. I'll take that boat track any day over what we have now in PC2. It's got that boat, but in a big flume, like a log ride. Makes no sense, but then it's Frontier...
  11. It looks like Frontier based this on the carnival ride (sometimes called the Titan) that only holds around 8 guests, and the Sky Swatter, which is a big, heavy duty flat ride that hold about 16 guests at each end. In the end, they came up with a ride whose design doesn't make much sense.

Wonder World trivia... The Waterfront district is basically complete. Of course, this is about 1/4 of the entire area of Expo 3000. When I built the original model, this was the entirety of Expo 3000... except the Space Port occupied the spot where the Waterfront Restaurant is now. You can see the round footprint of where it would have been. Later, when I wanted to expand the land, I ripped out the Space Port and moved it to the south, and rebuilt it, making it much larger. Putting a restaurant in its place may have not been the best idea, since the Sandwich Port was already there. But that's what I did, and the rest, of course, is history. Or something...
  13. This is a great children's area. It reminds me of the Little Mermaid indoor section at Disney Seas. Is that where you got your inspiration?

Actually, many of the "employee only" doors lead nowhere. 😜 But at the same time, some of them actually do lead to backstage areas and hallways behind the attractions.

I originally left out the tunnel pic, and then I thought, I bet JP would like it. 😉 I know you so well... As for the PC1 version, I would say Expo 3000 was about 2/3rds finished and Catfish Cove was almost complete except for the river attraction. Alpine Village had all the shops and food spots complete, just none of the rides. Circus Center wasn't even started, and International Street had some shops and restaurants. And no, there was very little backstage stuff in the PC1 version. Just an employee parking lot for the Laserium, and nothing else, I think. As far as when I will release the park, I'm not sure yet. Firstly, there's a huge amount of billboard images that will need to be released (I can't imagine how many there will be when/if I finish the park) as well as sound files. I also will not finish one land at a time. There are things I simply can't do right now and I'm waiting to see if Frontier will add what I need in the future, so I'll be skipping around. I may need to break the park into separate benches, depending on how the performance is as the park grows. But I am thinking along similar lines, that I may release the park in phases. I also may pre-release the park file personally to a select few... mainly my friends and fans here at ParkCrafters. I think it's possible to share the park file with others without posting on the workshop, but I'll have to look into that.
  16. Are you saying Fisherman's RCT3 youtube video was actually featured in one of those mall simulator rides? How'd that come to be?
  17. shyguy replied to shyguy's topic in Projects
They probably were. I recreated them from the way I did it in the original model. I built that so long ago I don't remember whether I borrowed that from Tomorrowland or not. But yes, probably.
  18. shyguy replied to Clrun4's topic in Projects
As it's been 8 months since this was posted, I think Clrun4 has left the building. It's a shame, is this has such so much potential. I hope I'm wrong.
  19. I can understand your trepidation to work on this as it truly is a monumental project. (It's how I feel about my Worlds of Wonder Resort, knowing fully well that I will never finish it.) But I certainly hope you get inspired to continue, as what you've done so far looks fabulous.
  20. I love your artistic style. Is that a glass walkway with plants growing beneath in your Main Street? Such a unique idea.
  21. shyguy replied to shyguy's topic in Projects
Thank you. Yes, this is the first time I've made an effort to create backstage areas in a park. I expect not all backstage areas will be fully detailed, as I really don't want to get THAT detailed and I'm not that knowledgeable as to what you'd actually find backstage in a real theme park. (I'm sure it's a LOT more than what I'm going to include.) Plus, I only have SO much patience...
  22. Hey dude! Glad to see you here. We're a small, but close knit community which I consider my home base for all my projects. Look forward to seeing more of your work. I'd really love to see you develop Epnot. Is that an old project or something new?
  23. shyguy replied to shyguy's topic in Projects
I've been doing some landscaping and adding some odds and ends to the land. The flower gardens outside the Space Port. Plus, the Worlds of Wonder Monorail system is being installed. Employee access tunnel. A small fountain outside the Transport Center. A view from the Sandwich Port. Side entrance/exit to Expo 3000.

Hey Dutchie. About time you made it over here! 😉
  25. Glad to see you here, Miss Barbare! 😄 I hope you'll share your work here in more detail. I know those here will love your creative, imaginative parks.
