Worlds of Wonder
Some people may wonder why on earth did I make Gumbies employees for the park. Aside from the fact that I'm a bit touched in the head, for those who don't own the game, there are really no employees in the game. Well, there are, but they are just guests skinned as employees...construction workers, scientists, etc., who just wander around like other guests. So I needed something to man my ticket booths, etc. I'm not good at building "characters" with the Planet games tools, and it would be even harder in JWE3. But Gumby is a pretty easy "object" to create in game, and I've added Gumby to other creative projects I've done. Before I got into RCT3, I created a couple of games using an old RPG creation software program. And to be funny, I created an island where the Gumbies live that the player can visit. I added even more Gumbies to a second game, giving them a bigger role. So I thought it would be fun to add him once again, to one of my projects. And putting an evil, potty-mouthed Gumby into the video was something I couldn't pass up. So there is a method to my madness. Sometimes....

Planet Zoo 2 Announced
Frontier has planned to do the sequel for quite some time, in conjunction with PC2. So this should in no way impact its continued development. We just got PC2's anniversary update and confirmation that more is coming before the year's end and beyond. Frontier's financial reports suggest a minimum of 3 years of support, so hopefully they stick with that plan. As far as what I feel about the Planet Zoo sequel... I don't expect it to be a huge technological leap ahead of PZ1. I do expect many of the new features we got in PC2 like the new paths and scaling ability, plus better lighting and improved graphics. I'm not too keen on it coming out just as I've begun playing the original. But that's just bad timing on my part. Will I purchase the game? Maybe. If it's got aquariums, I might build an aquatic park, like SeaWorld. 😉 Oh, and "hi" ChicagoZohan. 😀

Yes, the music is from 1933 King Kong. The waterfalls do look better than PC2, but they're a pain to build. You literally sculpt the landscape and then paint on the water and hope the falls come out decent. A lot of trial and error and randomness, with little control over what you end up with. And if you do any terraforming anywhere near where they are, you risk the chance of wiping them out completely. Then you have to start all over again if you save the game without noticing what you did.

Wonder World
Thank you. You know, a lot of people are hoping for the TMTK to be added, but I personally don't think the games needs it, especially if they add some more basic shapes and make the scaling tools more robust. I never used objects from the TMTK in PC1 until I booted it up recently. And then after downloading a hundred or so objects (and making some of my own), the game became even more sluggish than before. I'm sure it has to do with poly counts being higher in TMTK objects than Frontier's. Just give us better tools in-game to create whatever we want. And honestly, what players can already create now is pretty mind-blowing.

Animal World
And the story continues... Wanda and Scooter rush over to Administration to inform them (him) of their startling discovery inside the freezer. ... The newly hired head of security, Chief White. Security cameras have been installed throughout the park, closely monitored at all times. White loves his job. Also added is the security check point. Any watermelons being snuck into the park will be immediately confiscated. Wanda and Scooter bravely approach the Security Department.

Copper Creek
I love Copper Creek because it is so beautifully designed and uber-detailed without being over-the-top and out of the realm of what could actually exist in the real world. Not that those types of parks and rides aren't impressive, but personally, I prefer this type of park. Great job as usual.

Unnamed and Unplanned
The new rides look good so far. I look forward to seeing the finished product with landscaping, etc. As far as the new path system in PC2... I absolutely LOVE it. I'm always surprised when I hear people say they don't like it. Believe me, the more you use it, the more you will appreciate it. I literally quit PC1 because of its horrible path system. I can do everything in PC2 that I couldn't do in PC1. What you have to do is treat the paths like any other object in the park. You can select path sections... duplicate, rotate, and move them. Raise them, lower them. Watch a couple YouTube videos on creating paths to see all that you can do.

It's always fun to see a RCT3 park re-imagined in Planet Coaster. I definitely relate to what you say about things taking so long because of discovering new techniques and re-doing areas over (and over). I'm already finding myself doing this with Wonder World, as I learn new techniques, find new workshop items, or get new scenery with the DLCs. I expect I'll be doing this a lot.

The Gateway Gifts are a pair of gift shops, each located at the exit gates. I never got to building these in PC1, so this is the first version since the RCT3 build. Flying saucers, anyone? The two shops are virtually identical, except for the color change of the display props and the color of the wallpaper.

Kailash: Trail of the Sherpa (Himalayan Rolller Coaster)
Universal or Disney should hire you to design their rides. Of course they'd need to fork out about a billion dollars to build them. Well, you've definitely mastered PC2. I have no idea how you did some of those effects, but I eventually want to learn advanced animation, ride triggers, and how to use the sequencer. Then, if I can make rides that are 1/10 as good as yours, I'll be happy.
