  1. I really enjoy doing interiors. I think they make the park seem so much more realistic. But doing interiors probably increases the time it takes to create anything at least 5x longer than just having the buildings being empty facades. So you really need a massive amount of time to build something with this much detail...and a powerful pc.
  2. Construction is in full swing at Wonder Beach Boardwalk. This is slated to be the first park to open. Lot's of little details are being added to the entrance plaza, most of which no one would notice but me. The Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals will have single strollers, double strollers, wheelchairs, and electric vehicles for rent. While the park won't be open for several months, Mr. Wonder has employee training already started. I feel sorry for them. Next door are Guest Services and First Aid. The First Aid center has been fully fleshed out in this version of the park. You are greeted with a small waiting area as you enter the First Aid building. A water dispenser and magazines are supplied for guests as they wait for service. The office will be staffed with friendly on-site nurses who can offer simple aids like bandages and aspirin. They have refrigerators to store medicine like insulin, and a cabinet full of pharmaceutical aids for guests in need. (The pictures and paintings on the walls will most likely be changed in the future) In the back are cots for guests to lie down and rest if they feel the need. It's great for those who overdue things on hot, summer days. For more serious issues, there is an examination area where guests can be thoroughly examined in case of more serious injuries or illnesses. Coffee is on hand for both employees and guests, along with a small bathroom. (I just realized the sign says "toilets," but there is, in fact, only one. I'll have to change that.) Whoops. Didn't mean to walk in on Mr. Perkins. Btw, there are six TMTK items I designed for the First Aid center, most of which are in the bathroom.

Hi The Mad Hatter! Glad to see you here. We're a small, tight knit community, but hoping to grow and expand. I'd love to see this place turn into the next SGW. As long as I don't have to run it. 😉
  4. Very nice. 👍

Love it! Like Wowman said, the first thing I noticed was the kinetic energy. Excellent theming of the land and especially the flat rides. Great backstory and animations all around. I'll be downloading this to see it in person. Welcome to ParkCrafters!

Oh, I missed that one. I've got as many going as you... soon to be more. 🙃

Another great mega project by Wowman. Do you have any plans for a new project for Planet Coaster 2? Not like you need to have yet another major park to work on. 😛
  8. This park started way back in RCT3 as a project in which Mr. Wonder chose an SGW's member's park to remodel, i.e. "Wonderfy". The original park was Laguna Beach, and I never quite finished it. I began to re-imagine it in Planco, as Wonder Beach Boardwalk, but barely got anywhere. So now, it will become one of the parks in the Worlds of Wonder Resort. Let's see how far I get this time...

Well, it's not like I manually furnished each room at a time. I created one room, duplicated it in a string of five, and then saved that as a blueprint. Then inserted each block of rooms into each building. The hallways, laundry rooms, vending rooms, and elevator were all duplicated in the same manner. It still was tedious lining everything correctly, and still took many hours (days) to complete. But this, to me, makes the park seem more real... like it actually exists. Which for me, is more satisfying.

Today we attended an open house at Lafitte Landing for potential guests to tour one of the Veranda Houses. We're on the ground floor of Veranda House 1. There are 6 Veranda Houses in all, each 3 floors high... 30 rooms in each Veranda, making a total of 180 rooms in the resort so far. (And EVERY room is built and in place. No, I'm not anal.) Mr. Perkins strolls past the laundry room. There is one laundry room on each floor. (Washing machine, dryer, and vending machine are all original TMTK items by me.) Each floor also has access to an ice machine and snack vending machines. (More original TMTK objects.) All 180 rooms are jumbo family rooms, sleeping up to 6 guests each. Each includes the main room, featuring 2 queen beds, bathroom, closet, widescreen TV, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The second room features 2 single beds and their own widescreen TV. The 6 Veranda Houses. Next, work begins on the main Lobby building, including the Deluxe rooms...
  11. Such a fantastic project! I've only had time to skim through the pages of this thread. I'll have give it a more thorough look when I get the time. I watched a couple of the videos and can see how low the framerate is on this park. Have you heard of the Lossless Scaling software, available on Steam? It's supposed to generate frames to games to artificially raise the framerate and make them run smoother. I saw a video on Youtube, where a guy used this on his Planet Coaster park and said it increased his framerate by quite a bit. I'm curious if you, or anyone playing Planco and are experiencing low fps, have tried this software.
  12. Another great update. I see you snuck in Disneyland's Main Street Cinema into the cityscape.

I'm very impressed that you actually were able to build this and even improve on it in some parts. Great job!
  14. It's been so long since I made CS for this game, I really can't answer that. Try it and see.
  15. Have you done this... Go to the Graphics Options and choose Custom in the Advanced Settings. Check the Show LOD options and crank up the Detail and Draw Distance all the way. Then dial up the Geometry Imposter Distance as high as you like.
  16. Great to see a new member and contributor to this site. This park reminds me a lot of my Beach Boardwalk park which I originally worked on in RCT3, and then began to re-build in Planet Coaster. I'll be posting shots of that park soon. Like you, I took a long break from park building, but I'm back in the groove. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

The Park Inspector has retired and gone into hiding, convinced of his imminent death. Scooter is currently attending Wilshire Remedial Community College for his tenth term. Wanda is undergoing rehabilitation at Miss Hathaway's House for Drunken Hussies. Mr. White is dead (is he?). Edith Mophead, president of The Beehive Beauties, is undergoing psychiatric treatment for PTSD at Crock Haven Sanitarium. And Mr. Wonder is running park operations from his current address at Unhappy Acres Old Folks Home. What could possibly go wrong...

It's a recreation of the RCT3 version of Water World, which was a theme park and water park combo. This time, without the drama...hopefully.

Construction begins on Wonder's second major park...Water World
  20. Such a great project. I love how you've combined elements from the different existing parks, along with adding your own original ideas. What a fun park!
  21. Looks great! I'm assuming the layout of the city area is purely fictional, using landmarks and various styles from the era. It's not an actual replica of the city blocks as they really existed??
  22. Has it been 2 years already? The site looks great and I look forward to many more years. I hope to see the community continue to grow.
  23. That's the exact reason I initially created the set...for the doors in my WOW resort. This looks great so far. The only thing that looks out of place are those lush, green hills of LA. Yes, it would need many years of decent rainfall to create that. And where is the LA smog? Oh, that's right, it wasn't until the 60's or 70's that we got that. I can remember days where it was literally hard to breath on bad days. Oh, such memories...🥲

I've had a request for more pics which might help in attempting to build this. A lot of these are construction shots. Unfortunately, I no longer have the RCT3 park file for this.
