Attempting a pirate-themed waterpark resort, kind of a hybrid between Typhoon Lagoon and Atlantis/The Bahamas.

I'm open to better park names but at least this one isn't redundant with anything that I'm aware of.

I think "Plunder Bay" is an excellent name! it evokes both, pirates and water. Arrrr, keep it, says I.

There's an event point and a vista point both buried out in the water somewhere (along with some buried wave machines) that will lure guests in the water. They don't seem to attract swimmers even though there are swimmers in lounge chairs all along the beach. I'm wondering if it's in the code that makes those interactions require clothing the same way rides do. Really wish there was a setting to let us choose that behavior.

OR.... they're just peeing. ;)

Looking good! I really like the vibes. The beach with the crashing waves looks very pretty.

Thanks Dxtrr and CT. I did finally get a few guests to randomly enter the ocean in their swimwear, so at least I know it's possible now. You can see one of them at the beginning of this video.

So glad you're doing a water park, so I can steal ideas for Water World. (Although, WW is more of a fantasy, over- the-top park, not the most realistic build) I agree that Frontier didn't do their homework when requiring lazy rivers to be "Swimming" deep. I actually visited a water park and checked the depth of the lazy river and reproduced that in Water World, only to find it wouldn't work and guests just stood still, including children who stood on the bottom and, I guess, drowned themselves.

I'm on my third attempt at the lazy river, still hoping if I put it off long enough, there might be some fixes. I know, wishful thinking.

This looks great and can't wait to see where you take this.

You said you're pretty happy with the architecture... well I'm really happy with the architecture! I love pirate themed parks/areas. It all looks great, even the unfinished areas, of which there are plenty, apparently.

LOVING this project! The architecture is insane!!! I think you really accomplished what you said you wanted to do in the video, every corner feels really does feel like all those little scenes from the ride just blown up into a massively huge real life scale, and it feels like, "I-wanna-walk-around-this-area-and-look-behind-every-corner" lol. It's incredible what you've done so far! ❤️ Loving everything!
