January 27Jan 27 You have once again exceeded my very high expectations. Many of the visuals you came up with were preferable to the original videos (what you did with Men Without Hats was particularly noteworthy.)I think Yazoo was my favorite inclusion, I discovered them well after the 80's and still play them often. There were even a couple artists and songs I was completely unfamiliar with. I've said once or twice that it's the decade that keeps on giving (I meant musically) and you proved me correct on that one.High kudos on a job very well done!
January 27Jan 27 Very smooth presentation; professional. I don't know exactly what hoops you had to jump through to put this together, but I can tell that the end result was worth it.👍 It really is weird that the lasers don't act like real lasers. Whoever was in charge of creating them in PlanCo evidently thought that they were like Star Wars light sabers. But you did the best you could with what you had. I especially liked your creation of the May Pole. Thanks, shyguy.

January 29Jan 29 Love the video. You did a very impressive job with the lasers!Have to admit, I did not recognize most of the songs. My 1980's was consumed with Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine, I think one was called Lollipop Dragon, and of course the We Sing (Toy Trains, Grandpa's toys) series of videos! I still grimace when I hear that music! 😬At least Thomas back then was real models, beautifully crafted. Another wonderful addition to Wonder World! Looking forward to circus world myself! Can you guys recommend a decent AI program for the beginner? Edited January 29Jan 29 by citytrader

I'll consider adding Thomas the Tank Engine to the lineup of the next show.As far as AI, there are many to choose from and I honestly can't recommend one over the other, as I haven't used most of them. I get my AI images and videos from a website called ElevenLabs, which offers a variety to choose from. But it is not free. There is a monthly subscription rate. I also get all the voices for my videos from that site. But there are free ones available, you've just got to google AI and check them out yourself. February 11Feb 11 This park is truly incredible never seen something like this with everything done to a level of details I haven't seen in a lot of builder , to have even all the backstage and not just implied but that you can visit them it's phenomenal!

I expect not all backstage areas will be fully detailed, as I really don't want to get THAT detailed and I'm not that knowledgeable as to what you'd actually find backstage in a real theme park. (I'm sure it's a LOT more than what I'm going to include.) Plus, I only have SO much patience... "The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)
February 11Feb 11 The flower beds outside the Space Port look like they're inspired by the swirly yellow and purple flower beds outside Disneyland's Tomorrowland, circa 1967. 👍

I recreated them from the way I did it in the original model. I built that so long ago I don't remember whether I borrowed that from Tomorrowland or not. But yes, probably. February 12Feb 12 All those beautiful photos and I found myself spending most of my time staring at the tunnel. The fact that it even exists makes me anxious to explore this park file someday, knowing that with you every door and path always leads somewhere. My suggestion would be to put a workshop file up each time you complete a land, it might drive up the viewership by hitting a whole new audience who might even be seeing WW for the first time.I felt like I remembered you doing this level of backstage detail in the PC1 version. Now I'm not only forgetting things but I'm making them up too.Speaking of my memory -- in PC1, I remembered you finishing Expo3000 and a significant chunk of Catfish Cove. Was there maybe some Circus stuff too or am I also making that up? Did you get any further than that?

Was there maybe some Circus stuff too or am I also making that up? Did you get any further than that?I originally left out the tunnel pic, and then I thought, I bet JP would like it. 😉 I know you so well...As for the PC1 version, I would say Expo 3000 was about 2/3rds finished and Catfish Cove was almost complete except for the river attraction. Alpine Village had all the shops and food spots complete, just none of the rides. Circus Center wasn't even started, and International Street had some shops and restaurants. And no, there was very little backstage stuff in the PC1 version. Just an employee parking lot for the Laserium, and nothing else, I think. As far as when I will release the park, I'm not sure yet. Firstly, there's a huge amount of billboard images that will need to be released (I can't imagine how many there will be when/if I finish the park) as well as sound files. I also will not finish one land at a time. There are things I simply can't do right now and I'm waiting to see if Frontier will add what I need in the future, so I'll be skipping around. I may need to break the park into separate benches, depending on how the performance is as the park grows. But I am thinking along similar lines, that I may release the park in phases. I also may pre-release the park file personally to a select few... mainly my friends and fans here at ParkCrafters. I think it's possible to share the park file with others without posting on the workshop, but I'll have to look into that. "The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)

Actually, many of the "employee only" doors lead nowhere. 😜But at the same time, some of them actually do lead to backstage areas and hallways behind the attractions. February 13Feb 13 Love the flowers and the fountain. And not a single restroom in sight!!! Wonderful!JPTV, Wagi and I had a small circus area in our Disney's America park. I had made up about a half dozen circus wagons, and Wagi had made about fifty different custom scenery pieces, mostly platforms, a circus ring, a clown car and cannon, that sort of thing.Perhaps that is what you remember.[img][img] Edited February 13Feb 13 by citytrader
February 13Feb 13 Author Wonder World trivia...The Waterfront district is basically complete. Of course, this is about 1/4 of the entire area of Expo 3000. When I built the original model, this was the entirety of Expo 3000... except the Space Port occupied the spot where the Waterfront Restaurant is now. You can see the round footprint of where it would have been. Later, when I wanted to expand the land, I ripped out the Space Port and moved it to the south, and rebuilt it, making it much larger. Putting a restaurant in its place may have not been the best idea, since the Sandwich Port was already there. But that's what I did, and the rest, of course, is history. Or something... February 15Feb 15 Ah, Shy.. just a wonderful parks that is somehow very dear to me. One of the projects that got me to take my building skill (ahem) in RCT3 seriously. It shaped me :-)I like how it's all coming together, not a thing feels redundant or out of place. So well thought-out.

It warms my heart to know that you, and a few others, have such feelings and memories of this park. It does keep me inspired to press on with this project, which just seems more daunting every time I attempt to build it again. I'd probably give up it it weren't for the support of the community. February 16Feb 16 The level of details is really crazy! Amazing work! I love the atmosphere I feel like in the 70's at Disney Tomorrowland ! Can't wait to see more!!
February 21Feb 21 Overheads in general are very satisfying for me but this one even moreso; you don't show them often (if ever) from what I recall. Considering all of the details and interior spaces you've done so far, this is a remarkably compact footprint and once again bodes well for how far you will be able to go on one map. I know there's some significant stuff left to go in this land and looking forward to how it all fits in and translates to this game.On 2/13/2026 at 10:43 AM, citytrader said:JPTV, Wagi and I had a small circus area in our Disney's America park. Those pictures were very new to me and I see I need to go spend some more time in your thread for that project. It's always fun to see Wagi's custom scenery contributions! :)Apparently my circus center memories must go back to RCT3; I discovered that project long after the park was already released but thinking maybe there was a scenery update later on after I had joined the forums? Not a big deal, my brain really does enjoy playing those tricks on me.
February 21Feb 21 Maybe shyguy's Circus Center Set in rct3? I had Circus items in a RCT3 set as well, but shyguy's set was THE circus themed set everyone used...

I prefer to wait until I am finished with a project, or at least a large area, which has been years since I've actually finished anything. 🙃 And second, parks look so much better at guest level. I think overheads spoil the magic of the park.2 hours ago, JPTV said:Apparently my circus center memories must go back to RCT3; I discovered that project long after the park was already released but thinking maybe there was a scenery update later on after I had joined the forums? Not a big deal, my brain really does enjoy playing those tricks on me.Well, Circus Center did get a large expansion, after that screenshot above was posted. Also, I briefly began building Wonder World 2 in RCT3, where I began building a new Circus Center, but that didn't go very far.And now, over at the Transportation Center.....The Wonder World Emporium is (sort of) complete. Some simple, whimsical display windows adorn the outside of this massive store.A small display greets guests at the entrance to the Emporium. This may change seasonally, or when I come up with something I like better. 😉The Emporium will feature a section for each land in the park. For now, we only have the Expo 3000 section. The other sections will be added when I get to the other lands. For now, most of the merchandise is the generic stuff that is auto-generated by the game's display shelves.Posters of each land will be for sale. There are only two Expo 3000 posters offered at this time. This is the apparel section of the store. Just t-shirts and caps for now.Wonder World souvenir picture frames. February 22Feb 22 Such a nice and detailed shop. I look at every picture a long time and see so many interesting things. I love this Expo 300 posters in the image number 6. Perhaps the stairs in the last picture are too massive.

February 22Feb 22 Love the realism of the emporium, really feels like it could be a real theme park shop anywhere
