February 22Feb 22 I love the interrior… this is an huge problem when im building that im not that good in Building the Insides of Buildings
February 24Feb 24 Author So reducing the overall size of the staircase proved very problematic, so I made it into a double staircase. The middle railing was custom built to match the in game railings on the outer edges. Edited February 24Feb 24 by shyguy "The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)
February 25Feb 25 Author Scooter stands near the entrance to the employee parking and backstage area.Security gate to the employee area. The Wonder World Pet Kennel. This location will serve all parks in the Worlds of Wonder Resort.Pet Kennel parking.Dog walking area.Flower gardens near the Pet Kennel. February 25Feb 25 A fire hydrant inside the Pet Kennel grounds....... how convenient! The Kennel building is a little utilitarian looking, but that's OK. This isn't meant to be one of the eye-catching weenies of the park. And besides, it still looks quite nice with the angled windows and flower beds. 👍
February 26Feb 26 Dear shyguy,Today, out of nowhere, I thought about RCT3 Wonder World and the old real-life model you posted on the blog and how inspiring and captivating it was to my inner teenage self back in the days. I gasped when I saw you started again in Planet Coaster 2, and even more when I heard Mr. Wonder and Walt Disney's Head's cheeky voice lines again. Thank you so much for showing us this new version of Wonder World. Can't wait to see all the other areas come to life again!

So glad to see you here. 🤩 "The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)
February 26Feb 26 I really like the Pet Kennel, it's just what I would imagine it would look like. The smaller upper windows are perfect to allow light into the kennels. One question (and only because I dealt with this on my own parks...and I notice odd things like this...), but the automatic gates to the employee parking lot...the keypad/scanner/locking thingy? It's on the passenger side of the car...Unless Wonder imported used London taxi cabs to create a fleet for staff usage...OR vehicles enter in the left lane and depart on the right (there's actually a parking area near where I live that does that, so it CAN be legit...)...OR Wonder makes drivers scoot all the way over and hang out the right side window purely for entertainment purposes on the security cameras...OR Wonder requires car-pooling so the passenger is in charge of getting the gate open because of his deep concern for the environment (of his bank account...he's not paying mileage for every dang employee working there! 6-8 people can fit in that car, plus two more in the trunk)...OR Wonder World only hires employees with abnormally long anatomy (Wanda suggested that requirement...)...OR perhaps one can chalk it up to hyperfixation on crap that doesn't even matter by certain members posting to your threads?I didn't have similar excuses and ended up re-doing the whole damn thing on my park.

This is just one of the many reasons Wonder World is just on another level, truly exceptional! Edited February 26Feb 26 by citytrader

But the fact of the matter is that in a bout of laziness, I downloaded that from the workshop and didn't think anything of it. It was obviously made by someone from a country where they drive on the left side of the road. Now I've got to go back and fix it. Damn it. Couldn't you just leave me to my ignorant bliss?? February 27Feb 27 Author So, the automatic gate control boxes have been replaced completely, and positioned correctly. (Another workshop find with some added tweaking.)The interior of the Transport Center is nearing completion. The appropriately named Fountain Drinks stand. (The annoying light is built-in to all vendor counters and kiosks and can't be switched off.)You can get all-day refillable mugs here. February 27Feb 27 Excellent job on the interior of that roof, that's some patience. The lighted vendor kiosks are truly insane and just one more piece of evidence that Frontier does not play their own games. I've had to resort to making things non-functional just to keep those lights from killing the whole scene. 🤬I see Pepsi outbid Coke for the park contract, good for them. I mean, I prefer Coke but I always like to root for the underdog
March 3Mar 3 Author The Transportation Center now lives up to its name with the addition of the Monorail. The Monorail will take guests around the resort, including stops at Lafitte Landing and the Worlds of Wonder Resort Hotel (if it ever gets built). This queue will likely get quite full at the end of the night.A second entrance to the park inside the Transport Center via the Monorail.Near the second entrance is another locker rental spot. March 3Mar 3 I agree with JP, very nice last shot! And as always, your building style is a joy to behold. I always get a little angsty when Scooter shows up in a particular location; 'things' tend to happen.
March 19Mar 19 Author In the original Wonder World model, this building housed the Sunrise Cafe. But with the expanded size of the Transportation Center, the restaurant was moved back, leaving this building empty. Well, we had to do something about that. The Worlds of Wonder Preview Center & Art Gallery has moved into the building. The original Preview Center at Wonder Beach Boardwalk has closed to make room for something different to occupy that space.Detailed artist renderings, architectural plans, and colorful paintings from all the parks and hotels planned for the resort are on display here. The resort layout is prominently displayed here, with descriptions of each park and hotel. A short video about the resort plays continuously throughout the day.I'll have more in depth photos of each exhibit coming next... March 19Mar 19 We may need to talk about the dimensions on some of those photos... multiple billboards stitched together? That's a trick I've never understood and I think I'm ok leaving it to professionals. What would be really cool in this room would be a 3d model diorama similar to what you did with the original wonder world. Yeah, good luck with that. I'm just the idea guy.Well done as always, great work!!
