July 16Jul 16 Wonderful video! Wonderful ride! Excellent theming, it felt like a genuine first-person experience. Also excellent sound/sound effects. I wonder what Mythos would've been like? ;-)
July 16Jul 16 As soon as I saw the poster for Mythos I said to myself "We're never going to get there." You absolutely nailed this, from the queue to the arrival back at the station. Loved the full immersion with the audio throughout, made me laugh several times. Very jealous of your build skills AND your storytelling abilities. Not sure how you fit all of this into the space port 3000 building but I didn't see any showbuildings behind it, so you are clearly a magician. Worth noting all the clever dark ride scenes, so much originality in what to do with those pieces and so many things I would have never thought of.

July 16Jul 16 I don't think I can top any of the other comments already stated, so I'll just say"BRAVO! MAGNIFICENT RIDE!"I would absolutely ride that in real life, but I think I would drop dead trying to walk that queue! My goodness, it was long! 😆 Edited July 16Jul 16 by citytrader

July 16Jul 16 It's here!! Congrats on finishing this ride, such an achievement and major part of the park. The queue is really fun, I like the how you included the lightning line queue, I keep forgetting we have that in the game. The bridge part of the queue going over the other main paths is a cool touch. The boarding calls in the background add a lot to the travel terminal vibes, very Star Toursy! It looked very realistic at multiple points. The ride itself is a joy too! I remember the RTC3 days and this is such a leap forward in technology and design. The luggage carousels where a fun detail that caught my eye. The transition to the dripping water cave was really well done. I laughed at the giant flamethrowers and went Oh no 😬 when the next room was filled with them. I also really enjoy the windows that peek into the ride from the arcade en restaurant. The windows at the station also have a cool multiplane camera effect by placing the billboards farther behind the windows. I also want to praise the sound design and dialogue, the add so much charm and energy to the ride. The robotic and deadpan delivery of "Oh dear, we just traveled trough a black whole 👁️👄👁️" got me good.Really curious if you want to share how it all fits into the building. At some points you had some very steep inclines that I assume where necessary to fit in all the show scenes and coaster track.

The only parts of the ride that are actually inside the round upper level of the Space Port are the boarding station, the cargo hangar, and the backstage maintenance & holding bay. The control room and stargate are housed in the right wing. The rest is underground in a massive basement.A side view that shows the elevations with the majority of the ride underground. "Oh Blanche? July 17Jul 17 I did not suspect it to be in the basement levels at all! Should have known with the steep inclines but I just assumed you had to pass beneath some scenes, not transporting all the way to the basement. The side view gelps a lot to understand how it all fits, thanks for sharing, this is awesome!

July 18Jul 18 Author Some ride screenshots...These static shots don't have the same impact as actually riding the ride. Mostly because the ride was designed from a first person view, in a dark environment, from fairly fast moving vehicles, so most scenes are not super detailed. Add sound effects and animation, and they take on a whole new look. Also to note, the ride features more than 100 figures, including living beings and robots, some animated and some static. The spiderbot is from the workshop, by Zaccccc_GThe robot observers are by Oscar. The flamethrowers are by me. (Impressive, huh)The overseer is by Nate. Edited July 18Jul 18 by shyguy "Oh Blanche? July 18Jul 18 Great screenshots! These images make a nice companion piece to the video. Two different mediums, each with their pluses and minuses.
