January 13Jan 13 That is just one spectacular theatre. Love the proscenium!Shame it can't be actually used! I can't imagine it would be that hard to program a big empty box with seats inside. But we've been asking for that for years to no avail.Ah, well, beautiful work anyway! I especially like your behind the scenes photo. It's interesting to get a look at the method behind the madness. I would love to see a few more of those types of pictures!BTW, are you using a NASA supercomputer? You must have over 100 thousand pieces in Wonder World, and you've barely started!

You must have over 100 thousand pieces in Wonder World, and you've barely started!Thank you, citytrader.I'll try to add more wip screenshots in the future, although I never think about taking pics while I'm building. But I'll try. As for my computer, I did upgrade when I bought PC2, although it was time to do so anyway. It's definitely a high end rig, with one of the fastest CPUs on the market. The graphics card is high end (5070ti RTX) but not top of the line (5090 RTX), as those are ridiculously priced and it would have added a couple grand to the cost. So far I'm getting excellent performance when running this park. I do worry that that won't be the case as the park grows. I'd love to build the entire park on one map, but I'm prepared to split it up if it becomes necessary. Edited January 13Jan 13 by shyguy "The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)

In my defense, I don't even remember most of what I built 10 years ago. It's NOT n 'obsession' at all, it's my job as President of the Wanda Wonder Fan Club to ask probing questions...much like Wanda questions probing with her dates (on the rare occasions those occur and one or both don't pass out before any preliminaries even take place...).And let's be honest here...you don't remember what you had for lunch yesterday so that's pretty much your blanket 'defense' for everything.I'm trying to think of famous musical artists from the 80's or 90's that aren't dead or already booked solid with dates at Senior Living Facilities...
January 20Jan 20 It's honestly insane how you're also being so detailed with the interiors as much as the exteriors! That RCT3 image is such a throwback as well, hahaIt's looking great so far! there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
January 24Jan 24 I feel like the more you add, the more detail is being put into this park. The theater is looks awesome!
January 25Jan 25 Author The Video Works shop is now complete. So, this shop from the original model has undergone a few changes throughout the different versions of the park. It was originally to be a shop that sold video cameras and accessories, as a sort of sister shop to the Camera Shop over at the SpacePort. Well, today, both are pretty obsolete. I converted the Camera Shop into a shop selling digital photo packages. But what to do with the Video Works shop?In the PC1 version, it was a video game shop. But today, not many games are actually sold in stores. PC games are sold online. I guess you can still buy hard copies of console games, but that may not last either. So I did go ahead and offer some video games. But the bigger draw to visit the shop are the photo opportunities for taking selfies.First we have a pair of "old fashioned" photo booths. Then, there's the "Green Screen" where you can choose an image from a collection of locales, and then take a selfie, either with your own phone, or the camera provided. (You'll need to have purchased a digital photo package to use that option.)And finally, there's Wonder Vision 360, where you stand in front of a curved screen and choose from a number of spots from around the park that rotate around you, creating a dizzying video selfie. Also on sale here are souvenirs from the show playing at the Laserium. The full show will be released soon for all to see.Obligatory night shot. Before the official video of the "Back to the 80's" show at the Laserium, we have the "pre-show". January 25Jan 25 Nice video, but I miss the zaniness. Maybe YouTube viewers have a different opinion?
January 25Jan 25 Loved it...Wanda sure sounds like her mother. What's that one video game with Mr Wonder's face on it? I laughed at the sound effects climbing the ladder. I noted Disney's Head disappeared after Stormy's foul language kicked in...his lst name isn't Daniels, is it?No bathrooms?
January 25Jan 25 I was just coming here to tell you how well-made those photobooths are. Very happy to see another video, I felt it was the same amount of zany as the previous videos, which is just the right amount. The details to your builds are astounding, can't believe you even made the catwalks over the audience. Oh, and the fog looked great. That thing is such a wonderful mod that Frontier should be ashamed of themselves for not already doing that. This video reminded me of your arcade from the PC1 version, I know of some rather amazing workshop assets that I'm sure you've already found.I'd say more but I need to go play some Eurythmics now, that tiny snippit ended too quickly.

In the last couple of videos, the humor began to overshadow the park showcase, so I've toned it back a bit. Also, I can't come up with something really funny every time. I'm not saying there won't be more zany videos in the future, but just not every video.4 hours ago, Wabigbear said:Loved it...Wanda sure sounds like her mother. I'm not sure who created WDT1 and 2 though. As far as Disney's Head goes, he disappeared long before Stormcloud's appearance. Poor Mr. Wonder seemed genuinely hurt by this.2 hours ago, JPTV said:I was just coming here to tell you how well-made those photobooths are. January 25Jan 25 "I'm wondering if anyone noticed the jab at Theme Park Studio...". Ah, I went back and viewed the video again... There it is! Boxes of TPS chucked into the bargain bin... or is it a trashcan?"I can't come up with something really funny every time. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to do that. I just figured you were super human or something. No worries, I'll take whatever I can get... and whatever you have to offer. :-)

January 27Jan 27 Author The Laserium is getting ready to host its first show. Album covers of the songs featured in the show are on display in the lobby.Monitors have been added outside where guests will queue up for the show.Max Stormcloud, host of the show, will be out front for meet 'n greets. And most important, the shelves are stocked with merchandise for sale at the concession stand. January 27Jan 27 I'm embarrassed for not recognizing all the album covers because it means I probably didn't own them, and I probably had close to 1000 cassettes before I even started on CD's. They're all worthless now and most of them ended up in a dumpster somewhere.I have a tremendous dislike for Max Stormcloud. No reason really other than someone at Frontier is probably super proud of themselves for coming up with him/her/them. Their voice in your video is pretty much what I was already picturing, aka annoying as hell.

Also they are actually the single covers, not the albums, so you may not be familiar with them.16 minutes ago, JPTV said:I have a tremendous dislike for Max Stormcloud. I think the female version looks very androgenous/boyish, so I give it a young male voice. The actual male version is pretty horrible. January 27Jan 27 Maybe Mr. Wonder can sell the TPS discs for a small profit. Or just give them away as freebies; they'd make nice prismatic reflectors to brighten peoples' lives, and giving something away would boost his reputation. It would also give some purpose for an otherwise worthless piece of junk.

January 27Jan 27 One detail on the Laserium building I appreciate is how the blue bands are just slightly off-set from the main white walls...that adds a lot of depth not found when the two wall pieces line up perfectly. I don't know if that was by plan or just how the pieces are in-game, but I noticed it right away, same with the rectangular pieces in the signs which I know are in-set into the white. Maybe it's just the shadows, but it's little things like that that add a lot visually. There should be a Depeche Mode poster in there somewhere! If this show was "Back to the 70's" I'd recommend just filling the theater with pungent smoke as I mostly recall rooms and even car interiors that way quite often...what I can remember from back then anyways...
January 27Jan 27 Author Well, I finally finished this. This took over 2 weeks to do and I'm pretty happy with it. It was fun to make and at the same time, a pain in the ass sometimes. The lasers in the game suck, as they don't behave at all like real lasers. The beams are very short and just stop, whereas real lasers keep going until they hit a surface. The lasers were the same in PC1, but the PC2 versions are even shorter then they were. So this is more a multi-media show than a laser show. I've watched it several times now and made many changes and edits. But in the end, I enjoy watching it and hopefully some others will get enjoyment as well. January 27Jan 27 nice. better than anything I could ever dream up. I just don't get how to work the controllers in this game for shows like this. The theme, music, and effects were great. Where are the costumed dancers and live band playing the music? 😁 Maybe one thing I was expecting and didn't see it...when the bubbles were on the backscreen for that one segment, maybe bubble machines spewing the out over the theater? (Do we even have a bubble machine in this game?).Loved the audience shot at the end. Gives me an idea...I wonder if I can create an AI video of a scene like this specifying 'in the style of Planet Coater'...not only an audience but people doing other stuff in the park as well?

And then discovered that bubbles, like all water effects, don't show up under artificial light in this game. I had Wanda dancing and singing in the Animal World - Episode 2 video. But using AI is tricky, as you can get very mixed results, with AI adding stuff that you don't want. Sometimes it comes out great, and other times you want to scream at the AI and yell "WTF! That's not what I wanted!" You've got to try out a few different AIs to see which one works best for you. To recreate scenes inside your own park, you'll need one that you can upload screenshots so it will (most of the time) recreate it to look exactly like your park. And you also need to keep in mind that some people hate AI images and the use of it. I'm always waiting for backlash from viewers when I use it in my videos. January 27Jan 27 LOVED IT!!!What a fantastic job...and a ton of work! I like your choices, they certainly work better than some of the bubblegum songs that also came from the 80's. Most of these appear on my playlist on Spotify or we have them on vinyl. And you ended with Depeche!!!
