OVL Extractor v2 (previously known as RCT3 Archive Dumper).
This program allows to (partially) decompile OVL files.
I don't think this has ever been completed and it's on a sort of alpha stage.

OverlayExtractor2.zip it's the program itself, src.zip it's the source code and it's not needed to the users. I decided to upload it because I think it might be useful to anyone willing to try improving it, or anyone interested in writing tools for modding RCT3, because of it's documentation on the OVL format.
The source code requires Visual Studio 2012 to build correctly. Building it in later version will require adapting the code.

Children in masks are in the past and men in costumes are no fun, for here, the spirits of the dead are real, and they are not tolerant of the living intruding on their rest."

This is my first custom scenario focusing heavily on the spooky theme with some pieces and sets from adventure and western to provide some diversity in the theming should one choose that. There are three challenges, two with shop sale requirements and the other being about a custom coaster. This park also has night hours, meaning that you will be in the dark. Literally. Building should be an interesting endeavor. Also, no CC has been used, though it certainly can help with the spooky aesthetic if you have the right sets. Be sure to get your research budget set and you'll be good to go. Can you manage to build a park of horror and screams? Or will the spirits of the dead claim you on the ancient battlefield?

This is my first custom scenery PIECE(not a pack)
I am just learning how to make them successfully.

Hello everyone! :D
Desert Traveller is a tilt corkscrew roller coaster built around a small abandoned Egyptian city. This city is installed on a deserted island in an oasis. This area shows many Egyptian style buildings and ruins designed in various ways, many times with fancy and sometimes unreal details. This area is complete with many stalls around the city and a few flat rides, such as a snake slide ride and a Phoenix twister.
I noticed that advanced NCS (Non Custom Scenery) parks or tracks are very rare, because most people don't like the original scenery objects and prefer using custom objects. However, I see a lot of potential in NCS RCT3, so I decided to bring it back with that roller coaster.
I also gave myself the challenge to use only scenery from the original game and Wild expansion. The only object from Soaked I used is the fire particle. There is a READ ME file in the download that explains how to install that object in the game for people who only have Wild.

Important note:
If you want to give your terrain a relief to get the same effect as on the screenshot,
start by building the castle, following the tutorial, in an empty park.
Then save your castle in your structures.

When you want to use your castle, first shape your terrain
(by raising a slight hill, flattening it at gallery level and digging out the river bed as shown in the tutorial),
Then, sensuously, place your castle where you want it.
This will save you a lot of trouble! If necessary, try out the installation on a virgin park.

DLRP - Frontierland 13 - Phantom Manor
This building is part of a series that, placed side by side, recreates the shops and restaurants of Frontierland, at Disneyland Paris.
But each structure can of course be used independently of the others.

DESCRIPTION:
We finish the reconstruction of Frontierland with this structure.
It's Phantom Manor in its entirety, with the square, the queue and its Boot Hill cemetery.
It requires very few packs to be added.

AN IDEA!
All the terrain is made up of patches, using the ‘errt_EasyTerrainBlocks’ pack. So, with the exception of the flat areas at the entrance to the park, which are bare, the entire structure covers the terrain.
It's therefore possible to create an enclosed ride, install the stepped queue to access it, then cover the whole thing with this structure.
By making a slight modification to the entrance to the square, you can even get the peeps in and out of the attraction through the gates.

INSTALLATION :

DLRP - Frontierland 12 - Thunder Mesa
This building is part of a series that, placed side by side, recreates the shops and restaurants of Frontierland, at Disneyland Paris.
But each structure can of course be used independently of the others.

DESCRIPTION:
This structure recreates the entrance to Frontierland, the central square in Thunder Mesa.
It uses very few added packs, as most of the items making up the decor are from ‘Vanilla’.
The two huts can each accommodate two vendors.
A space is provided to install the ‘Minefall’ attraction, which blends in perfectly with the décor.

PLACEMENT :
If you have started to build up your land, to place this structure you will need to align the tables on the lines materialised by the red and white dashes on the ‘Placement’ picture.

INSTALLATION :
The file ‘DLRP - Frontierland 12 - Thunder Mesa.dat’ should be installed in the folder: C:\Users\(...)\Documents\RCT3\Structures.

DLRP - Frontierland 11 - Riverboat
This building is part of a series that, placed side by side, recreates the shops and restaurants of Frontierland, at Disneyland Paris.
But each structure can of course be used independently of the others.

DESCRIPTION:
This structure is a reproduction of the Riverboat pier.
There are two halls, each of which can accommodate a queue.
It is therefore possible to install two different water attractions on the quay.
You can use these halls as you see fit. I've installed a series of vendors, 15 in all.
If you have installed the previous structures recreating Frontierland at Disneyland Paris,
place this one in line with the Phantom Manor toilets (see the marker on the picture "DLRP - Frontierland 11 - Riverboat - Screenshot 10").

INSTALLATION:
The ‘DLRP - Frontierland 11 - Riverboat.dat’ file should be installed in the folder: C:\Users\(...)\DocumentsRCT3\Structures.
