Wanda lost some weight...must be that liquid diet she's been on. I see she has the frig well stocked for this shift. That one flamingo seems to a bit infatuated with her...hopefully breeding seasons is over before the Grand Opening...some things just shouldn't be seen.

1971 is too late, 1922 too early based just on the style of the stars, so it's between the other two. I'm going to guess C: 1960, because it seems like something from that 'space-age' era, and Hollywood was really going strong then, more so than at the end of the 1940's...
  3. Last round of screens I showed an area to ignore as I had taken the screens before it was finished. Well, now it's mostly done so you can uncover your eyes and we'll take a short gander... Up ahead is the streetcar barn, and to the right are several lakeside Boardwalk-themed structures... There's a small plaza where the streets meet, a restroom on the left, additional buildings to the right... A First Aid station tucked into the yellow house... Around the corner is Donald's Dockside Cafe, which is actually the backside of the Plaza Restaurant we'll see later... There's Donald himself waiting for a Meet n'Greet opprotunity once the park opens! (The SS Leaky Boat by Citytrader has popped in three different parks now...) This Boardwalk building from the Workshop just had a plain back wall, so I just copied the front of it, rotated it and added some interest... And finally - Storyville's pride and joy - it's Victorian comfort station!
  4. It's actually a case of pure laziness. LOL! Since many of these structures are Workshop finds, not all of them were originally meant for a Disney Main Street setting and so didn't have the popcorn lights, a fact that didn't always become evident when working on the bench when paused during daylight hours, and by the time I took night-time screens...well, it was an 'oops!' moment that I just didn't go back to fix! The laziness to fix WAS intentional...the fact they didn't have them wasn't! LOL! Thanks for the well wishes. While I've had artificial parts before with a couple of dental implants and two stents in my heart, I'm now on my way to true Bionic status with a brand new factory-fresh knee. The knee itself feels and functions wonderful...the repairs to the areas to install it are lagging behind somewhat, but physical therapy will soon cure that. The longer hospital stay was merely preventive as I had the stents from a few years ago and Brazilian insurance companies aren't in the same hurry to empty hospital beds as they are in the States...but I like hospital food...no, really... So tasty...even without salt. Or flavor. Or someone flipping on the overhead room lights at 3 am to empty the trash. So home-like...
  5. Welcome!
  6. Only 'inspired' by the original idea behind the Mickey Mouse Park, which was the precursor to Disneyland...many of the areas and layout resemble the original maps, but then I built off of those.
  7. After a short delay while I took a hospital vacation (always at the top of my to-do list!), we'll continue our tour even if the walker slows us down... E. 2nd Street continues to the right, while 3rd St and Park St. veer to the left. A handy kiosk with sundries occupies the triangular patch between them... Various storefront await our exploration... Including Lilly's Boutique, Disney Collection, Bookstore and others before you come to another fire station... There's period fire equipment on display here... Storyville Baby Care Center across the street... (ignore the mess in the background, I took this screen before that area was finished...) Vintage Shop and Painless Dentist... Back across the street is the entrance to the Storyville Station... After a few more nighttime screens we'll pause here for now... More to come...

Only one I know for sure had a candy bar named after him was A: Babe Ruth

Only one wine bottle showing? Did Wanda suddenly feel a need to toss the empties in the trash can? Usually she just piled them into unstable piles on available furniture, I can't envision her cutting back on her daily intake...unless she just walked in the door?

Neither did I. Maybe we should ask citytrader, he probably remembers them using leeches to balance bodily 'humors' or tobacco enemas (AKA 'blowing smoke up one's a**") back in his younger days. Castor Oil was probably considered cutting edge 'modern medicine'.

    Terrible childhood memories perhaps?

It's France! So I'm thinking they often drank wine, which means A: Alcohol
  14. Okay, I tweaked the lights on the Coke Corner building to be the suggested red/white and added the missing lights... And here's a quick overhead screen to hopefully explain the layout of the Storyville section of the park... The curved streets worked out well, but they were in fact somewhat based om the original plans as shown below on the left side...my version is, as usual, exaggerated in size and I added a couple cross streets!
  15. No I don't...but I just noticed they are missing on one side of the building, so that gives me an excuse to go back add some and tweak the others! Thanks for the comments gentlemen!
  16. Picking up where we left off...we'll turn right onto 2nd Street...actually East 2nd Street. There's several restaurants, a beauty parlor, an ice cream parlor... On the opposite side if the street there a Guest Services storefront, Bixby Bros. Clothiers... Kitty Hawk Bicycles, a newsstand... Across the street from them are public restrooms, a quiet lounge, first aid, then a music shop, food stall, haberdashery and finally Kansas Chocolates (another chain shop I suspect...)... Back across the street was a Chinese Laundry and a Millinery Shop. Here too is a short 3rd Street... Which leads back to Main Street in the distance. The Coca-Cola Refreshment Center on the right... Doctor's offices... And Elias House with it's famous Chili...Walt's favorite... And now some night-time screens... We'll pause here on the corner of E. 2nd and 3rd Streets...I think some hazelnut bonbons are calling my name!

I'm pretty sure 33 is too long, 5 is too short. Maybe 14 days, but something tells me that they aim for around 100 Km per day, so that would make it... C: 21
  18. How cool! Ill have to look for that!
  19. Thanks to everyone who voted for us and even those who didn't! 😁 This was at least our second or third time attempting this theme on different game version...I'm not sure we'll try for yet another but this one has been fun. As soon as citytrader wakes from his nap I'm sure he'll thank you as well...if he actually remembers working on this project. His neighbors feel lucky if he remembers his pants in the morning.
  20. Congratulations on a job well done...and a sincere thank you for doing it!
  21. No need to now that the changing table has been installed...saves your knees from having to get down to floor level too!
  22. Now them's purty bathrooms! Is there going to be a family one with changing tables too? I assume ankle-biters are allowed in the park...

JB sticks to solid sources for facts! LOL! I'll also go with A: Wrestling
  24. Well, I attempted to open the park to peeps so I could take some populated screenshots for you... Unfortunately they entered with a frame rate of 1-2 fps, so since I didn't want to spend the next week waiting for them to get past the first cross street I'm just going with the excuse that we showed up an hour before park opening and the joint is empty. That's my story and I'm sticking with it! This is a family site so there will be no discussion of the how's, why's or what's behind the creation of the con-joined twins...besides, there's a major upcoming article in a scientific peer-reviewed journal that will no doubt explain all...in medical terms. Thanks everyone!
