Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Obviously Mr Wonder consulted as to the admission prices! Yeah, that brings back some Atari memories...*shutter*... But it's not often that you have conjoined twins with one being Chinese and the other being of Irish blood. But the boys seem to get along even if they neither speak the other's language... Yes, the fire engine is by Bullethead, who did some great vehicles for Fisherman's Rose Lake project. The trolley is based on ramses.sam's "Tramway Parisien 1900/1920" that I converted into a horse-drawn trolley - he supplied great bones to work from so it was taking off a few things and adding on a few things. I did it originally for the New Orleans section of our DisneyAmerica Park

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
So, finallllllly, we'll enter the actual Mickey Mouse Park now! (NOTE: As I mentioned before, my computer has struggled with this park, even with removing areas outside of the actual park and jacking up the graphics settings, in-game textures basically suck. I've cut back on some of the street details I like to use as well, so apologizes for some of the funky screenshots...they really aren1t just because I'm lazy.. least on most of them...) Staff is ready to take your money...at the hefty 1940 price of ONE DOLLAR! No theme park should charge such an outlandish ticket price! Highway robbery! Next they'll try charging a nickel for a hamburger! Looks like the crew is lollygagging around at the entrance instead of back in their areas prepping for guests! The Partners statues has a place of honor right inside the gates...the staff not so much. Somewhat under-stocked gift stands line either side of the main entrance...just in case you wallet still isn't empty... Passing under the Mickey Mouse Rail Line overhead, we enter Storyville, an all-American small town from the early 1900's... On the right is the main Storyville Fire Department station, on the left is the town's residential area... Up ahead on the left is the town's elegant City Hall... Which puts us on the corner of Main and 1st Streets. Bert's Cafe on the right along with a team pulling one of the town's modern fire engines... Peeking around the corner down W. 1st Street we see another rail bridge crossing overhead and factory warehouses in the distance... A drug store, book store and an antiques shop line the left side of the street... Gates lead to back of house areas on the left, while the gates on the right lead to park services in the factory-themed buildings... Restrooms are located at the end of the street on the right... A few night-time images... Some of the stores along here have faux interiors that sadly really only show up well at night... We'll head back to Main Street now...another view of the Storyville City Hall... Next we come to 2nd Street...Story Books Store on the left, City Books on the right...and just crossing in front of us is one of the cars of the Storyville Trolley Company... W. 2nd Street curves away in the distance, while E. 2nd Street links to the residential area...we'll explore it later... We'll pause here for now as our employee(s) Jim-Bob and Bao-Jung-Hai, the conjoined twins have questions about the cracks in the sidewalk that are still waiting for attention and the substandard graphics in the shop. Here at Mickey Mouse Park we pride ourselves on our inclusive hiring practices... Until next time... (Sincere thanks to all the wonderful and talented creators who shared their work in the Workshop that I unapologeticly used in this park, and a request for forgiveness from those who's work I tweaked, recolored or shamelessly tore apart and then rebuilt to suit my own selfish needs...)

He has shirts older than that! Citytrader didn't mention that those printing presses he worked on said "Gutenberg" on the label...

What other hobbies to you have?
"Existing" is my favorite hobby...and I'm quite good at it...so far anyways! Unlike many others when I play video games I pretty much stick to one and devote a lot of time to it. Currently of course it's Planet Coaster 1. I do have other games, but seldom spend much - of any - time with them. In fact I own both Planet Zoo with all it's expansions, and PC2, but other than opening PZ and looking around in PC after each update for a total on maybe a couple hours. I put in a lot of hours playing PC, as well as a lot of hours spent creating TMTK for that game. I consider myself the OSUDenny of Planet Coaster, which I consider a compliment. Denny was prolific creator of CSO in RCT3, and like him I'd never consider my creations as being great, nor even good, but they suit MY purpose and if anyone else found a use for them then that was great. I'm not skilled at Blender or any other program, but thanks to people like Ms.RedNubula sharing their 'how-to videos on YouTube I was able to figure out simple things anyways! We live in one of the largest cities in the world, so there's plenty to do, if and when we choose to do it. I've gradually adsorbed the Portuguese language well enough to comprehend most of what I read and a good share of what I hear, and even partake in conversations occasionally other than just nodding my head in agreement and adding a 'nossa!' from time to time... We have a English Cocker Spaniel named Buddy or 'Bu' for short as they pronounce his name as 'Boo-day' here. Not as bad as the pronumciation for my name "Bob" which is "Bob-ee"...a name I haven't been called since I was five... Bu was a rescue from an abusive home, has severe non-operative cataracts in both eyes but has adjusted well to going about 90% blind now. He's my shadow. He's quite intelligent, and is in fact bi-lingual, since I use whatever language comes to mind when I talk to him. Our day includes heading out for walks 8-9 times a day which are sadly fairly short as my arthritis worsens, but we still get his snif-faris in, all while avoiding street people's use of the sidewalk for lavatory needs and the hordes who work here downtown during the day. We live on the 18th floor of a highrise condo in Centro, São Paulo, in the midst of close to 30 million folks in the Metro area so it can get a bit hectic at times. Bu is our third pup after losing both Molly, our English Springer and Duque, the Handsome Dude™©, another Englsh Cocker, to cancer a couple years ago, both were abandoned dogs, which sadly is a problem here. After the Pandemic we're back to our schedule of annual trips to Orlando and semi-annual ones to Los Angeles and then back up north to Washington State. Being retired at such a tender age has it's benefits. We actually have yoga sessions here in our condo every week with an instructor, which helps with the arthritis while awaiting knee replacement surgery in a month or so...

Trivia Bowl
Should ask citytrader if he recalls them having water polo back in 1900... But I think I read in a article about the history of the Games that it wasn't on the list for the first Modern Games in Greece, but was added for Paris, the second. So, unless citytrader recollects differently what he saw, I'm going with A: 1900 Paris

Water World
Not to overlook all the hard work that went into the site for years, but the originals of this park are one of the major reasons shyguy's world was such a success, and gathered such an amazing group of players - friends - to it. The parks, the CSO, and especially the hilarious backstories...fond, fond memories even after all these years and so nice to see some of the same here with the new games.

Riverport - Chapter 1
This very much reminded me a great deal of Heth's work in the steam-punk theme, which is a real compliment in my book. The differences I think are in scale - your's is of equal size and complexity but it's scale seems more personable, and the other difference in the level of energy felt...the kinetic energy is off the scale - not only on the rides but on the entire area. It's just at a perfect level to convey the amount of excitement this themeing is trying to portray. The screenshots are luxe...kudos for that and even more so for the video. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this park project, a sincere thanks for sharing it here with us!

Yes, I'm an expert in sportsball...thingy-stuff! Mostly from quickly scrolling down through the sportsball section of the on-line editions of the newspaper on my way to the comics. My answer here was based on my intense knowledge of a headline I recall skimming past... Although I did once own an autographed bat and ball from Ken Griffey Junior...only because my store won a contest on who could sell the most of his videos years ago, I had them proudly displayed on a shelf as proof of my sportsball fandom nerdiness (as long as no one actually asked me anything about Ken Griffey Junior or the Sonics or whatever his Seattle sportsball team's name was...). Go Sportsball Team! I still think those Bible shoplifters just thought it was like eating grapes or candy from the bulk bins at the grocery store, or 'accidentally' hauling hotel towels, coffee creamer, mini-bottles of shampoo and toilet paper home in your suitcase from your motel stay...they EXPECT you to partake of such samples and souvenirs...right?

I did...in fact I also used it inside of the park as I was running out of smaller structures to fit a certain space so stuck one down the side street, just changed the name on the marquee. There's at least one other structure that got cloned that way too. Laziness! LOL! Thanks for the comments!

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Continuing our tour... Here's where the magic begins! Walt Disney Studios! Everyone who knows Disney history will point out that this is NOT what the Studios on Riverside Drive in Burbank looked like! In fact, this a representation of the second Walt Disney Studios located on Hyperion Dr. Here Mickey Mouse was born and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was produced. After Snow White was a success, Disney needed more room and there wasn't any to expand at the Hyperion site, so the move was made to Burbank... My take on it... You may have seen this before, I first created it for the Disney America Park with Citytrader... Some more store fronts just past the Studios entrance... I was kinda stuck with how to end this street scape without adding on even more storefronts, when I happened across some TMTK images in the Workshop of tunnel interiors. I could have used a large billboard, but just went with the 8 meter wide size of the TMTK object. Los Angeles is famous for some of the tunnels in the city, many have Art Deco details, so I just made up what I think is a fitting end to Riverside Drive (I would have done something to the other end, but I had built out to the park boundaries and couldn't adjust the buildable area...). There's another street crossing over on the upper level... There's a stairs up to the upper street level... More shop fronts... And a service station... A short block of shops directly across Riverside Dr. from the Disney Studio. The street branching off to the left is Buena Vista Dr. Down at the end of Buena Vista Dr I placed another tunnel to replace just running into a cliff... Again, more varied storefronts. Not much detail added in this area unfortunately... Above the Buena Vista tunnel is a small plaza offering a look back over the area towards the Studios. There's another looooong staircase lading to the lower levels here as well... Partway down Buena Vista Dr is a side street... The park boundary is on the left, warehouses and such on the right... Down the block is the entrance to the park offices and backstage areas... Shortly after the entrance is small grouping of shops, a warehouse and even a theater, looks like one of the animation models wearing a Robin Hood outfit is heading in for a latte... Buena Vista Street then crosses over the Los Angeles River channel which forms the edge of Disney property here... Downriver you can spot the pumping station used to keep the park lake at an even level... We'll head back towards the park entrance now (finally, huh?)... Another Pacific Electric bus drops passengers off at the park entrance. Peep spawn points are hid within the building on the right, they then cross the sidewalks to the park ticketing... The Park Place Hotel is next to the entrance plaza. (this was a tweak of a two-story Art Deco facade from the Workshop. I just cloned it to make the lower floor, then copied parts to create the tower. Didn't get to add lit windows yet...sadly.)... FINALLY! We're ready to purchase our ticket and discover Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Park...

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Glad you cleared it up that it was this century, I'm never sure which one you're reminiscing about! There's still more to explore in the neighborhood around the park... J. W. Robinson's was a major department store in Southern California... (I wasn't able to add the signage pr the marquee I had planned, but I love this building just the same...) Not very busy on the side streets... Local State Courthouse... Down that side street there's a city park... On the next block is the local St. NoName Presbyterian Church... California Cafe on the corner... At about this time Pacific Electric was switching from streetcars to diesel buses... Home of La Brea Studios, one of the small-time players in the film industry... Just past an alley entrance was Hamilton's Department Store...a small Kansas chain I believe... Behind Hamilton's was an office building with a bakery and various stores on the ground floor... Bakery at night, looking back towards the Hamilton building... Side streets in this area nicely treed back in those days... A mix of building styles from different decades... Even a glimpse of the park can be seen! Back out to Riverside Drive now... Riverside High...Go River Rats! No idea what they sell here, but the window displays are kinda cool... All American Restaurant...freshest sushi in town! There's an entrance to a sound stage just ahead, so we''ll pause here for now...
