I think JB is actually correct (see, read his post...this time...) B: The only Temp that is the same for Fahrenheit and Celsius As an American living in a metric country, I still have one app set to display Celsius, while another app displays Fahrenheit. Not really for my benefit but so that when on a call to family in the States who invariably ask how hot it is here I don't have to break out the calculator to do the conversion math...

That's ok Wowman, I'm sure JB is used to people glazing over a few details in his posts. Why, people have been known to totally ignore his posts, so I wouldn't worry... 🤣

Screens must be of the Men's room...(oops! Just noticed the urinals...). Wanda usually leaves the nozzle on the air dryer aimed upwards after she's done. Especially after using said urinals... She needs one set at a lower level like the drinking fountains so she doesn't displace her hip raising her leg up so high. Like that one lower urinal they installed for her. Beats having to power-wash the tiles around it all the time.

Over-priced "souvenirs with "Disneyland" plastered all over them."... Years ago we visited a town in southern Brazil where they had a garment factory that was contracted to Disney at that time to create t-shirts, hoodies, etc. (they no longer have that contract I believe...), they had a factory outlet store there that sold factory seconds and over-runs that was full of Disney-themed apparel meant for the parks, all for a dollar or two U.S. each. That was before our first trip to WDW, so we loaded up. Still buy some at the parks on our annual trips but they certainly didn't cost a buck or two U.S. either!

What was your favorite thing to do in the RCT games growing up?
But many of us were never 'kids' when RCT first came out. Some, like citytrader for one (and likely the ONLY one...), weren't even middle aged but counting down to that birthday where the President of the United States sends you a card congratulating you on reaching the century mark. I, myself, was a youthful person on the cusp of 'middle age' - where I've miraculously remained ever since... However, like that jar of moldy mayonnaise at the back of the bottom shelf of my frig, I've been around the community for a long time. The old sites - RCT Station, RCT Depot, RCT.com, shyguys...all the best ones at one time or another considered a restraining order...or two. I build parks, create CSO and TMTK, cause havoc...none of them all that well but I do enjoy doing them even for just my own benefit, although some may frankly wonder 'why???'. There's friends I've known for more than 25 years through RCT, and that's the most important thing from these games I sincerely think.

Lightning Pass is only $25??? Either Wonder didn't notice that misprint or there's aren't any actual rides or things you can use it on...

How else they gonna pay for the joint? Beer joints and tattoo parlors won't cut it! (This is the precursor to Disney later having multiple stores selling the exact same merchandise every few feet as they do now!)

Headed up Main Street...Boston Cases and Bags on the right, Hotel Marceline on the left. Emporium up ahead... Story Book Store and City Hall on the right... Here we'll turn onto East 2nd Street... As the street curves we have the First National Bank Building, followed by Storyville Arcade... The Bridal Shop and the 2nd Street Cinema... I see Tilly is manning the ticket booth again today... As we go around the corner, a coffee shop, barber shop and an eatery line the block before it meets back up with Main Street... On the original plans there was a small odd block that seemed to have interconnected facades...my guess was that they were townhouses, as Walk always had an "Edison Square" in the back of his mind. So I went with that idea, but since I couldn't decide which style of townhouse to use, I ended up using one of each, but never went back to choose only one.. Nothing in them... Next time we'll explore the town residential street on Elias Place...

introductory videos in French
While the game itself has French language support for text and menus, the developers never created or released specific tutorial videos in French for the first game, not did they in any other language, including English. There are several YouTube videos in French showing 'how-to' hints while building a park, I know Benjamin310395 had one, but unfortunately most instructional videos appear to be in English. I don't know if there are any French Planet Coaster groups on Discord or Facebook.

Oh my...I LOVE the look of that entrance! As much as I love the other styles you've done in the past, this one is something else...perhap because it's so very different. Anyways, it's a fav... Who lost their slice of watermelon and is that what's attracting flies (I mean, besides Wanda...?)

Community Chat Discussion 16: Best holiday to celebrate in the parks?
Carnival and Festa Junina in Brazil. We know about Carnival in Rio and São Paulo, but other areas of Brazil have different traditions. Other countries have Carnival traditions similar to Rio's or more like Carnival traditions of Germany or Italy. Any would lend themselves to park celebrations. Festa Junina is a holiday held in June in Brazil, it celebrates the end of the rainy season and start of fall harvest. It resembles some of the Fall traditions in the States or Europe and has some similar 'country' traditions like dressing up like hillbillies or country folk, a sort of "Sadie Hawkins Day" (shotgun weddings where the woman picks the man...), square dances, bobbing for apples and such, just no witches or ghosts. Again, similar to Fall/Halloween festivals in parks. Christmas of course is also big, but there's a big clash between winter-themed Christmas decor like snowmen and roaring fire when it's in the mid to upper 30's Celsius and palm trees outside your window. While Christmas includes gift-giving as well, there's also a dedicated 'Children's Day' for gift-giving in October. Most other official holidays in Brazil are either church related (Corpus Christi, Brazil's Patron Saint's Day...) or recognize historical events (Proclamation of the Republic Day, Independence Day). Plus most cities hold an official holiday on the anniversary of it's founding

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
(A slight delay in posting here. Somehow a TMTK object 'disappeared', leaving gaps in some of the structures shown here. Unfortunately I saved the bench before noticing, so the 'disappeared' objects remains 'disappeared'...for good. So I had to recreate what was missing, which led to different designs in several cases. But all's fine in the end. Anyways...on with the tour...) Coming to the end of the block, Cast Member Evelyn channels Adriana Caselotti - the singing voice of Snow White in the original animated film - serenading tired guests with her rendition of of "I'm Wishing"...said guests wish she'd move on to somewhere else and threaten legal action against her voice coach... We'll escape around the corner where we find a Barber Shop, a Bakery (Mickey doughnuts!), and Mouse House Home Decor... ...Chest of Drawers (strangely not an underwear shop, but a store that sells furniture - who would have thought?),... A family clothing store, which also serves as a passageway back to the other street. Then yet another painless dentist (one can never have too many...), lawyers offices... Then the Disney Gift Shop ends this block... Across 4th St. is a Bakery (definitely can't have too many sweets either...hence the need for the Painless Dentist offices I assume...), then the China Closet (no egg rolls there...), and an Arcade, followed by a Coffee Shop on the corner of 4th and Main... Buster Brown Shoe Store on the opposite corner. Storyville Tours pauses while the driver run for a quick double shot espresso to deal with the upcoming crowds when the park finally opens... Next time we'll journey back up Main Street ... The Storyville Civic Improvement League recently planted those trees down the middle of the street. Some day we hope to find out...why? Until next time...

Wonder Beach Boardwalk
PAY??? Wonder has a deal with the locals - inmates get on-the-job training in ignoring guests and Wonder gets lukewarm, semi-alert bodies to fill park positions...all at the usual prison wage of 25 cents an hour...minus deductibles like Federal and State taxes, Social Security, meals, restroom fees, uniform rentals, transportation, supervision (they ARE inmates after all...), mandatory donations towards gifts for Administrative Staff birthdays and Christmas... the usual. But inmates gain so much knowledge from dodging monkey tossed poo (or toddler tossed, whichever the case may be...) plus the health benefits of breathing fresh dung-tinted air, why any wages they end up with pale on comparison!

Where those available in the vending machine at the hotel? I wasn't sure if Wanda would notice if they were since I didn't think those machines sold beer or spirits. Is that egg salad spilled down the front of Wanda's shirt?

Wanda is such a hussy, always up for breeding flamingos. Her interest in raising over-sized poultry seems strange. "Maternal" never seems to crop up on her ads on Tinder, or mentions on assorted restroom walls, so she's probably set the incubator to 'poached'.
