the in game "colorable area light". I sink them into the ground or scenery to achieve the best light distribution and shadow creation for my desired results. I typically use one of the pre-selected light colors from the table, but you can play around and adjust to custom colors as needed. I do save a list of the color 'numbers' (binary representation?) that I like for use later.

I don't play PC but this sounds like the hex color codes. They're useful because not all monitors are created equal. Black on one screen may look gray on another, so as long as the hex code is "000000" it will always be black. And FFBE98 is Peach Fuzz, the Pantone Color of the Year.

I really like how this game reflects light and colors. The way you light that cave area is really pretty!
