The night lighting looks nice. Hmm, somehow I overlooked that big bucket-O-water in the plaza up until now. Is it used as part of the ride? Maybe that's where the fire trucks get the water for their fire hoses?

that is part of the splash zone where kids can play ion the water. It dumps on them.

Well done on the lighting!

Fire stations typically have that blinding white light inside - After a long shift, I don't know how they can deal with that.

Ooh! The nighttime shots are even better! They make the flames stand out more. All that red, orange, and yellow really lets you know there's a fire goin' on here!

Yeah, those night shots are really cool!  Even more of an inferno than during the day!

What on earth happened to that neighborhood?! It's all on fire!

That night shot is really cool with the orange coming off of the flames. I think the place might need more than one fire truck to douse all that fire. haha

The glowing smoke makes the first image look especially nice (and real). Also, the path/street lights in that image look like fireflies... or glowing embers... or a starry sky.

Well that was helpful. I have a much clearer picture of how it all fits together now. Also, I'm picturing the rough 'n tough firefighters riding the merry-go-round.

Really cool to see it all in action and see you explain it all, really clever with the billboard/facade idea - that's something you'd see in an actual park. Attraction came out awesome!

Moving on around the lake along Enchanted Way....we come across an old diner that has seen better days along Route 66. This is basically a buffer between the Fire ride and the Drive the USA ride coming up next. Yes its a bit beat up, but it is a fully working restaurant in the game.

It may have seen better days, but it sure is in a nice location! I actually like the faded, chipped look of the diner and its signs.

It's usually those beat-up diners that have the BEST FOOD. I bet the burgers in there are amazing

All the clutter on the roof of the diner is interesting. Not sure what the slogan on the Dr. Pepper sign means: "Three good times to enjoy life more".

Three what?

Want to point out that the diner was a workshop blueprint someone else created and I made fit. That sign is also a workshop item, so I can't answer right off.

Some info I found on the Dr. Pepper historical sight. While it doesn't specifically reference this slogan....I strongly believe it has to do with the below info:

 

During the 1920s, research at Columbia University determined people's blood sugar tended to fall around 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., making them feel lethargic, per the Texas State Historical Association. Because of this, Dr Pepper marketed its sugary self as a healthy pick-me-up. "Drink a Bite to Eat at 10, 2, and 4" became the latest, greatest slogan.

Ah yes, "10  2  4". I remember seeing those numbers on Dr. Pepper bottles. Not sure if they still do that.

EDIT: According to the article you linked to, they don't print the numbers on the bottles anymore... A pity.
