  1. I saw you Youtube video on my feed and it looked awesome! Some of those curves are just well executed and I am definitely paying attention to your creations because they are really good!
  2. I am super excited for this version. It has been amazing following along your progress and even having really good discussions on how to approach different areas. All this for a firework show still baffles me, but that is dedication!
  3. 8 years ago World Of Discovery opened to the public and began its story on ShyGuys World. Today, this massive project now living here on ParkCrafters is an award-winner and is continuously growing and improving to become a project for the history books. Today, I am happy to announce WOD9 will be the next phase for this project. Plans are being worked to make it lead into the massive celebration that will come with WOD10. WOD8 gave us two new hotels, a recently opened character meet and greet area with RCT3 friends (opened this weekend), Geolocoaster's recent soft opening, and more developments to World Exposition and the park's core. I am excited for what is to come and happy to see this project grow and continue to develop to become one of the best projects in RCT3 history.
  4. Hey all! Been a while since I have done one of these discussions. The topic is Halloween events. What is your favorite Halloween event at a park or in your area and/or what is a Halloween event you would like to attend?
  5. Wow Tangled looks awesome! In a different world, that would probably be how the Magic Kingdom would have done if they had a Tangled ride.
  6. It is now September and last night was the first night of our season named World Of Screams. This is the first time in years we have coordinated a Halloween event and there is a lot to learn this year along with determining spaces to decorate in the future as we open more areas to guests. As usual, an overview of the main entrance. At night the lights on the park's symbol go through some "spooky" colors set to classic songs played during this time of year. A great addition that is ready for the 20th of RCT3 next month. Decorations were minimal this year and scattered around, much like the coffin in the flowerbed at the main entrance. I hope the groundskeepers know that we don't store coffins at the park and definitely do not lay them in our flowerbeds. It does make for an interesting photo opportunity. The breezeways at night are home to some wandering scare actors, but during the day the static props and static scares are out for guests to pass by. We are taking notes on future Halloween additions as both buildings are active construction sites. The decoration team was clever and put static scares where the Global Cafe is set to be. This year the core of the park will be complete; it is looking like towards December is the timeframe of opening. The fountain stage hosts a small show during both the daytime hours and nighttime hours. A nice breakpoint from the wandering scare actors for those who are not into the scary side of Halloween. Also during World Of Screams is Discover Fears, which is the scary take of Discover a firework show that uses the infamous barges that we all know and love. The other breezeway takes on a scary carnival theme with its wandering scare actors. Much of which are clowns trying to lure guests to be part of their next act. Years ago, we did this theme, and it was popular. Again, with the redeveloped park we are trying to determine where and how to place the scare actors to be in popular guest areas. One last overview that seems to have become a tradition of many updates. Other updates: Core/Discovery Expo: Character meet-and-greet area under heavy development. Need to add path covers, ceilings, lighting. Temporary walls while color schemes are determined. Basic white and blue walls, similar to other areas in the core buildings. Geolocoaster: Blackened walls added to gravity building. Need to add blackened ceiling and finalized ceiling. Queue work started with exterior railings. Need to finish adding exterior railings and path covers. Need to add shade for guests in the exterior overflow queue. Virtual Queue being evaluated. World Exposition: Evaluating techniques for new countries. Looking into countries that can be used as buffers from the front of the park to the bridge over the canal that leads to the resort area. Looking into Egypt, USA, and France construction and additions
  7. Happy Saturday everyone! September is coming fast and I am happy to share World Of Screams starts September 13!!! That is a Friday so it was very fitting to have our Halloween event to start that day. Decorations for that and for the 20th of RCT3 should be going up soon, but one thing that has been happening is the new lighting package on the park's symbol. Ever since the first Discover Expo the lighting has been a focal point at night and will continue to shine for many years to come. September and October are going to be huge months as we prepare for the anniversary of this project and RCT3!

This is my first CTR upload but is a reupload of PB&J's CTR just on the in-game Looping Track. Please follow the README for instructions. The in-game name is Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Peril, with the default CTR icon. Original CTR: https://parkcrafters.com/files/file/2011-peril-miner/
  8. How can it not be mentioned or used? It dominates the skyline!
  9. Indiana Jones is a fun one to build. Getting crafty with how to approach the temple and having a pretty action-packed layout. The original concept was to be similar to Hagrid's, but has quickly developed into something unique. Next year is going to be big and the RCT3 anniversary is going to play a huge part of it. The tombstone is a tradition, we definitely need more merch of it in the real world....
  10. Hello everyone! Today is already a huge day for Disneyland Resort Dubai during the D23 Expo. We kicked things off a little bit ago at Disneyland Park with announcements that we are sure guests will love. Our announcements also include Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's Hollywood Studios has become a star, with quite a few nominations for awards and even featured on the ParkCrafters downloads icon for RCT3. Funny thing is though, we have never officially opened the park at any point in its development. For Tower Of Terror lovers, this may make you gasp because we have the WDW version sitting in Dubai waiting for more visitors. Well, what better year to begin a phased opening than the 20th anniversary of RCT3, which will not be too far from our opening date. The Walt Disney Company recently turned 100 on October 16, 2023, so October 16 is a pretty special day for Disney fans. Well, I am happy to say this year we will begin phased openings of Disney's Hollywood Studios on October 16. Guests will be able to enjoy some of our popular attractions that have been brought here to Dubai. The Hollywood Tower Hotel here will let guests in through the attached gardener's shed, it is kind of in a rough state, but it is one of the ways to get into the main hotel. Rock 'N Roller Coaster will take guests on a thrilling journey on a super-stretch limo to make it to an Aerosmith concert on-time. Other attractions will be revealed once we get closer to the opening date, but those are two I think guests have been itching to enjoy here in Dubai for a long time. Also, for the anniversary of RCT3, enjoy nightly projections on The Hollywood Tower Hotel. This will be similar to those done at Walt Disney World during the 50th anniversary. I am excited for guests to make their own stories and enjoy experiences Walt Disney Imagineering have been planning for Disneyland Resort Dubai. Disney's Hollywood Studios has been in development for quite a long time, and this is the year we finally let guests see what has been in the works. Thank you for your continued support and I hope you have a picture-perfect day!
  11. Happy Saturday everyone! Today is a HUGE day as this is when we announce our new and upcoming additions to the parks. Both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios have announcements. To kick the day off we are starting at Disneyland Park. Walking into Disneyland Park, Halloween decorations have materialized at the main entrance. There are still things that are being put out, but super happy to have decorations out for the season. Even if they are from The Haunted Mansion. Of course the tombstones make an appearance. We currently do not have a version of The Haunted Mansion, but these still pay tribute to imagineers who made the magic we know today. To kick off the announcements, I am excited to announce that for the 20th anniversary of RCT3 on October 26, 2004 (the initial release date) we are having nightly projections on Cinderella Castle to celebrate. These will be similar to the projections seen at the Magic Kingdom during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. This anniversary will be huge on ParkCrafters and among the theme park gaming community as a whole, and I have many things planned across all projects. Now to the land of adventure. Adventureland has been under heavy development in creating state-of-the-art attractions unique to Disneyland Resort Dubai. I am happy to announce that Adventureland will begin its phased opening this winter. Step into different worlds with the inclusion of popular Disney movies. Africa will be home to The Festival Of The Lion King, a popular stage show that has entertained guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hong Kong Disneyland. Another classic Disney hit is Aladdin and we are bringing Agrabah to life. In previous iterations, we have had Agrabah in some form that connected to Fantasyland. Die-hard fans will know what I am talking about, but we are reworking the area to be more immersive and include different experiences that will be announced in the near future. Now adventure is out there and exploring new worlds requires some transportation, Soarin Around The World will make its debut in Dubai when we begin our phased opening of Adventureland. There are other worlds however and we are exploring them for the future, Imagineers are even becoming one with the Navi and will discuss their findings in a future announcement down the line as well as a team exploring the sea with Moana. There is one more area in Adventureland to discuss and that is India. Quite some time ago @FrancesCoaster developed a method of exploring temples and the jungle with Indiana Jones. The thing is we had to find a temple or something to even look for. We did stumble upon one along with Dr. Jones. The Eternal Temple. What you are seeing is Indiana Jones and the Eternal Temple. A thrilling attraction that will have many surprises once complete. This attraction will be a thrilling experience for families and will be a first of its kind for Disney Parks. We keep talking about the future during these announcements. Tomorrowland is all about the future and exploration. We have many plans for Tomorrowland and what we will be bringing real soon. Direct from Epcot will be Mission Space. In October 2024, you will be able to explore outer space in an out-of-this-world experience. One thing that will be unique for this version, however, is exploring more than just Mars and Earth. We will be implementing multiple storylines similar to the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction at many of our parks. A fun fact is during beginning Disney kingdom parks, Mission Space was always considered for Tomorrowland. @StickyGum32 and @wolfpaw were "harassed" years ago for some Epcot building materials and well.... we may have shipped the Mission Space boxes to Dubai as well as another park. But contrary to what is always said, mostly by @wolfpaw 😉, it blends really well with Tomorrowland and definitely envisions Walt's fascination with space travel. We also have the PeopleMover which is a popular attraction seen at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. That seems to be a common theme in Tomorrowland is traveling to new destinations. Whether it be space or even the grid. Months ago, @FrancesCoaster delivered something that had been on our wish list ever since Shanghai Disney Resort debuted Tron Lightcycle Power Run in 2016. Then it officially opened in 2023 at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Videos do not do it justice; it is a thrilling experience that I have been lucky to do quite a few times. Currently have two nighttime rides and it is an experience. I know I probably spammed @FrancesCoaster with pictures and videos of Tron showing off what Dubai and in general RCT3 could have and we both agreed it was something neat to see in-game. I am happy to announce that in 2025 we will be opening the third Tron Lightcycle Run here at Disneyland Resort Dubai. For a bit we have had the test seats and a general entrance, recently we moved it to accommodate for the future popularity and theming elements under development by @FrancesCoaster, he will get tired of all the credits one day 😆. Tron Lightcycle Run is now programming, and we will continue to share progress as we prepare Tomorrowland for the grid. There have been a few names mentioned in these announcements. That is because I have been lucky to have connected with members to make these massive projects. A year ago, I would not have thought to have some of the concepts become a reality and definitely did not think I would have an award-winning project (Identity Crisis Epcot). ParkCrafters has become a large community of collaboration and ideas. Much of which are based on the real world, much like my announcements today. I have a few more up my sleeve but will tease that Disneyland Park will be the unofficial RCT3 host of the ParkCrafters Awards in 2025. More details will be shared when that time comes, but I will say thank you for the continued support. I am happy to share a lot of my really old ideas that have only gotten bigger and bigger by the minute. Happy D23 parks day everyone!
  12. I think they are going to reveal stuff little by little. I am super excited for PC2, there is a lot that can be created with it and I am sure we are all going to be freaking out when they announce more stuff.
  13. Welcome! Unique username!
  14. I like the smaller profile of the dive coaster. It really works with the hills as @Wowman mentioned. For the Backwoods, I could see kind of a more intense dark ride (horror/monsters/etc.) to tie in the environment if you want to continue working with the landscape. Possibly a Haunted Mansion attraction of sorts or something similar to the Monsters area at Epic Universe. I could probably go all day on possible ideas 😉

  15. Rapunzel's Tower? I know it may be far fetched but it is something that is on my wish-list.
  16. Happy Sunday everyone! The Discover Expo had its final day today and we just debuted something bright for the park's icon. I came into the park about sunset to get a good spot of what was to come. About 8 PM or so was when something new debuted to the guests. Team members advised guests what was about to happen was under technical rehearsal but is now a permanent addition to the nighttime lineup. "Good evening, friends. One little spark of inspiration is at the heart of all creations and all discoveries. From natural wonders to other nations, a guiding light acts as a beacon for a great gathering. In celebration of 20 years of thrilling discoveries and memories the little spark lights up for you." This is a huge bonus to the park and was a huge undertaking for @wolfpaw. Things are under technical rehearsal, but we coordinated to get the sizing to a good enough scale for the park's icon. A huge thank you to @wolfpaw for the quick acting in effects, the lights twinkle and make for a great photo opportunity.
  17. Happy Saturday everyone! Day 2 of the Discover Expo is going strong! Since this is the first Discover Expo, anything that was even mentioned was cheered for. There were quite a few teasers for future announcement at future events. Guests were able to tour the gravity building of Geolocoaster, sadly no photos allowed as it is an active construction zone, but it is going to be a thrilling attraction. Below is a summary of announcements today. Today's Announcements: Geolocoaster opening Fall 2024. Egypt will feature a family coaster known as Pharoh's Curse. Reusing track from the old version in old iterations of the park. France was teased as a country with a family dark ride as its main draw. American pavilion will feature an animatronic show. New resort is currently laid out, needs further work before name formally announced. Connecting boat line with Creations, Innovations, and Discover Resorts. World Of Screams begins in September. Something with park's icon?
  18. Looking good! Not sure if this is a secret park if you are announcing it 😉.
  19. I have that version of UOE and the publicly released version by CaptainEO with the orange/yellow color scheme. The rainbow colors will be fitting for Geolocoaster and may even have some displays showing different geodes with similar colors to the wedges. Those SGW days were wild, looking at old pictures I have backed up 😆. Spaceship Earth is an icon and being able to use it as a symbol for this project has been incredible. There have been 3 iterations, with two having the 3D triangles. The current iteration will remain because of sizing as well as other factors. I did look at many vacation pictures and RCT3 Epcot videos (mostly the ones with these buildings) to get the landscaping just right around Spaceship Earth.
  20. Happy Friday everyone and welcome to the Discover Expo! There are so many announcements for the park planned and the creative team has cooked up a pretty involved agenda to celebrate this massive project. Today is just a social gathering with some minor announcements shared to guests, I decided to head over to the park to get some shots of the areas mentioned so far today. Coming up to the main entrance, the park entrance music has changed again! What now plays is a music loop that debuted in the real world in December 2023. I can confirm that this is the only music loop that has changed. The rest remain and have no talks of being changed. The previous music loop was pretty cinematic and had a lot of music from nature documentaries. The new loop is nice and definitely gives a grand entrance feeling. The main core of the park was the topic of minor announcements walking into the Discover Expo. It will continue to look like this, but many facilities have openings planned for October 2024. The additions are inspired by those at Epcot and both buildings will remain as the real-world theme park has some additions and losses that are not so favorable in the latest reworking of the park. One is the Global Cafe, the park's main quick-service restaurant. It will be a place to discover many flavors from many areas of the world. This will be inspired by the Connections Eatery at Epcot, Starbucks is already in a small facility within the same building. It is unlikely it will be connected to the Global Cafe and will be its own entity to help with crowd control. This will finish one half of the two core buildings. Another is a meet and greet with RCT3 characters for the 20th anniversary of the game. This space will bring all RCT3 mascots under one roof to meet guests who have experienced meeting these characters for 20 years in multiple projects that inspired World Of Discovery. To finish the other half, an announcement will be made at a later date for the remaining space. There are talks of a flex space being installed temporarily to help give guests a space to relax and recharge. Discover Expo guests received the surprise that they will be invited into the gravity building of the park's most thrilling addition coming soon. The possible name for the attraction is Geolocoaster. This coaster will involve geological sciences in a thrilling way. The coaster is mostly complete with the completion of the track inside the gravity building. Guests were informed that the trains are x-car trains seating 4 to a row and that this attraction will feature inversions and many twists and turns. Team members teased a zero-geode roll is the first element after launching into the gravity building. This attraction is of course similar to Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Since we do not have a CTR or CT of that attraction (wish list item) this is a good placeholder. The big box is towards the back of the park to not affect the main entrance sightlines as much as the attraction at Epcot....big blue box! Guests were also teased that one little spark will illuminate World Of Discovery in a new light. Sunday night something is being revealed and this is said to coincide with the 20th anniversary of RCT3. I wonder what it is because the park does seem more alive at night. During the ParkCrafters Awards the intro tag of a "great gathering" was used, possibly another sort of great gathering. 🤔 The Discover Expo ends Sunday with today being the first day. Already there has been quite a bit to unpack and it is said that tomorrow will be even more!
  21. Another awesome creation!
  22. Any predictions for this weekend's expo?
