  1. Yeah and now they can get sunburnt 🤣. This game has some quality-of-life changes that were good and some that are not so good. I am finding different techniques as I develop this project that I wish I knew when I dove into it.
  2. Awesome stories all of you! Glad to have you all here at ParkCrafters. A lot of familiar members from SGW and from projects that are part of the RCT3 history books.
  3. Good morning from Emerald Waters!
  4. Hmmm a storm is brewing capable of generating whirlpools 😉
  5. Day 2 of Planet Coaster takes us back to Emerald Waters. The entrance saw some love (and a new park file 😉). I am keeping things simple starting out and the entrance is pretty basic, but this is a Planet Coaster 2 water park. The crew decided to paint the letters and let the waves crash in to add a new graphical element to our main entrance. Future changes will include implementation of the logo from the announcement post once images are able to be uploaded into Planet Coaster 2. Again, keeping a basic theme, the guest services counters and the restrooms are outside of the park. More facilities will be in the park, but these are going to be the first stops for many guests coming to Emerald Waters. The park's first slides are a pair that make up the Plunge Slide Tower. Guests will climb around 100 feet about the ground and have two options of free-falling back to Earth. One is a trapdoor option, and the other is on their own free will. A basic slide type, but one that might cause guests to say "no I'll do it tomorrow." The view from the bottom is quite spectacular, but from the top it is magnificent and will be one of the highest points of the water park. Of course there will be many thrilling slides that dominate the skyline, but this will be the first. Making it special for the design team. Choose your fate or take the long trip down using the stairs. Whichever your choice, Emerald Waters will be your place to make a splash.
  6. I have been a lurker, never posted any projects. I have already made entrance changes. 🤣
  7. Splashing in on the first day is the park's main entrance. This is my first ever build and with the new tools I wanted to try some things out. Using the prebuilt jetty pieces, I made this entrance into the park. This of course is just the beginning as I still have to plant some foliage and add more details, but I am happy with how this came out with in-game pieces.
  8. Thank you @Wowman, I am a huge fan of your creations and look forward to seeing more of them!
  9. Welcome to Emerald Waters Water Park! Florida's newest water park in the Emerald Coast! To celebrate the debut of Planet Coaster 2, I am happy to begin this splashtacular water park that is inspired by my hometown, and it is going to be a project that develops one wave at a time. I look forward to sharing more of this project as we welcome Planet Coaster 2.
  10. Look at that radio tower! I love the surrounding areas near France like the bridges. Something I have not really done as I keep my parks rather flat. I am using your terrain depth trick for the lagoon at World Of Discovery and I can see it mitigating some of the issues when making bridges and adding curvature to the square lake. This is such an amazing project and really shows you can be a Parkcrafter!
  11. The lighting was too perfect not to share. The tacos are not an eyesore 🤣.
  12. Hey all! Happy Friday! To celebrate the premiere of Illuminations: Reflections Of Earth on Discord by @wolfpaw, here is a night shot of the new World Of Discovery. Currently got most of the pavilions placed at the front of the park and working on the entrance and core of the park. This night shot of course has the barges for Discover that @Anon-P created so that the Harmonious barges from Epcot live on 🤣. This version of World Of Discovery is already a different beast than what has previously created (2016-2024 versions). I am excited to share more as this develops.
  13. Happy 20th Anniversary to RCT3! As part of today's special occasion, I am happy to announce that World Of Discovery is being reworked! For 2025, a new version of World Of Discovery will open to guests. Today ParkCrafters members are getting a first look at the main entrance. This entrance calls back to the original park entrance only this time a bit more details. This iteration is going to continue to be an everchanging project and I am excited to share more.
  14. Hey everyone! Saturday is the 20th anniversary of RCT3!!!! 20 years has flown by and I would like to begin a good discussion on how you got started with RCT3 and how have you developed. Share your thoughts and lets get deep! I was 6 years old playing the game. I began with the demo before the official release. Made some real bad Splash Mountains and other attractions that were of interest as a 6 year old. My parents claimed I played RCT games since I was two, but RCT3 has been on so many computers and I have quickly evolved starting in my freshman year of college where I began finally posting projects rather than being a lurker. The first official project I was posting was World Of Discovery at SGW and TheCreatorsLounge. Then it evolved into my two Disney parks which are continuously growing and changing. I will not consider myself a veteran 🤣. I love sharing my creations and ideas which have spawned many discussions on how the real world could better existing theme parks. 😀
  15. The main entrance of this park has been my favorite piece-by-piece build as it has been a lot of reference images and getting crafty. Plus Tower Of Terror in the background just adds to it.
  16. You guys made voting real difficult! These entries are creative and cover a variety, whether it be a park, attraction, or show. Great job you guys!
  17. I may have to trade in the ring and tacos for the blue egg 🤣. I am excited to see your progress, I know I get personal updates and enjoy seeing how you are conceptualizing how to approach different potential roadblocks. I see this being an incredible show once it is all finished.
  18. I like the concept and it leaves me wanting more. This entry in the competition is one I feel is very creative and has a strong concept that can grow into even more. I love the marine life area especially the tracks wrapped around the lighthouse, that is something that stood out. Egypt is a nice build, I could see that being an area that gets further development with attractions and even more exhibits. If you decide to do a CS version, I could see this park being one of the most unique.
  19. So this is one of the entries that took me back to the original campaigns in RCT3. This is definitely in my top 3 projects for the competition and is making voting extremely difficult to pick who I want to win. As always you made a great coaster and the theming is top-notch!
  20. Thank you! I know I don't see anything, some people are seeing things that don't exist. 🤣
  21. Welcome to Disney's Hollywood Studios! Phased openings began this last Wednesday and it has been such a busy week in preparations for new projects and possibilities. Disney's Hollywood Studios is quickly developing into a major presentation. This morning, I had the chance to arrive just a little bit after rope drop and the Extra Magic Hours and guests are flocking to this park. This is one of my favorite entrances to any project as much was piece-by-piece builds. I used MattCollins Hollywood Studios set for much of it and a mixture of Shyguy's sets. The result is something award winning. It is even part of our downloads page 😉. The main entrance was heavily inspired by Hollywood Boulevard at the real Hollywood Studios. Due to some limitations, some buildings from Sunset Boulevard are on one side of the street to help make the area a bit longer than a small entrance area. A good buffer for guests to work their way to upcoming attractions. We do have multiple magic band scanners ready for guests to plan their day. Recent news in the real world has a new type of fastpass option, I will have to determine if I want to use this for the story of guest experiences in the near future. The hat lives on! Along with a Starbucks location at the end of the street. This park is almost a grid-like layout, but that is due to the buildings being straight as opposed to diagonal. I am looking into methods of breaking apart the concrete jungle that is this park, one example is in the image above with a small, curved path and a Pergola. My latest piece-by-piece build is the Carthay Circle Theater. I did have the Parkcrafters logo on the billboards, something happened and it went to the Frontier logo. Oddly my entrance signs kept their images (Slinky Dog ad and Tower of Terror poster) seen in previous images. Carthay Circle Theater is a mix of multiple sets and this is my more detailed version than what I did many years ago in my old studios parks. Further down is Rock 'N Roller Coaster. This attraction is receiving its queue building and launch building. I am using the CT which is housed in the giant box, which I don't see at all I just see the sky 😉. Future additions include Toy Story Land and a new take on the Animation Courtyard. I am looking into some attraction between all Disney studio-based parks/areas. Also paying attention to real world announcements to determine what may fit in this area. One wish list item I have is a custom Chinese Theater as the area behind the hat is still empty and it would be a great story element and can house attractions. Star Wars was started years ago and that got shelved due to the creator not being active on SGW. I am always looking for assistance and all credit will be given to the creator in the form of "contracts." If anyone would like to help, feel free to comment or message me here at ParkCrafters or on Discord. Would love to get more members involved! Currently been struggling with transferring RCT3 files to a new system. The current issue is saved crashing, all custom content minus pyro effects have been imported. I am using the old system for RCT3 as a workaround until I get a fix or just keep this method, the new system will be used for Planet Coaster 2 (maybe Planet Zoo) projects. Well I think that about covers it, that's the business and the fun is just ahead. Rock on!
  22. Disney's Hollywood Studios has now began its phased opening! Unfortunately, I am in the process of transferring laptops and trying to get RCT3 fully functional. Expect an update sometime soon! See you at the movies!
  23. I am excited to see this. It will be a challenging project, but the final result is sure to be awesome!
  24. Absolutely beautiful! It has been so fun following this project and seeing it develop. I am trying to figure out which pavilion is my favorite in this version because it is all amazing!
  25. Great responses all! This year I don't think I am doing much for Halloween minus watching the traditional movies that play on tv and the in-game decorations. A bucket-list event for me is Halloween Horror Nights and an event I would like to do again is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as I have done it twice and enjoyed it, probably would do more in terms of a Disney bound. Last time I wore the Ghost Host CM t-shirt as it is Florida and hot 🤣.
