(Obviously, this post is just a thinly veiled attempt to get my name connected to a shyguy park!) 😁

I will be more than happy to add you to the list of sponsors. Thanks for the nice post...about time. 😜

Finally took the time to go trough the entire topic, this is such a trill! I mostly remember your other parks so to see your take on a zoo and different theming styles has been a treat. The village market details are very well done. I like the warm wooden look of the Bakery. The observation tower is epic, can't wait till we see a closer look on all that. The atrium space of the administration building turned out so nice! I love the glazed tiles in the icea cream parlor. It is one of the textures/objects I miss in PC2 and wish we will get soon in PZ2. The Insect Court turned out lovely, it's a cool idea to do exhibit boxes like that, I haven't seen it been done before like this. The Emporium is true eye candy, great job on that one!! It's really clever and smart how you've divided up the Hippo lake into smaller habitats yet still manage to make it look like one single space. The lake ranch area is adorable, I love the donkeys! Really curious to see where this park will go next.

Thanks for your very kind words and for taking the time to view the entire thread. Yes, actually building a new park, instead of recreating my old ones, was a bit daunting, especially using PZ, as opposed to what I am more used to (RCT3, PC1 & 2) I think this started a little rough, as I learned the ins and outs of PZ, but I feel I'm finally hitting my stride, and excited to show what I'm currently working on, plus the future additions I have planned.

You're welcome! I feel you about switching between PZ and PC2. I have have done many hours in PZ so switching to PC2 was a steep learning curve for me. Can't wait to see more :D

I love your version of the savanna habitat! Very life-like. "Black Wildebeest"... That must be the "roast beast" that the Whos down in Whoville were eating for their Christmas Feast! With that tall futuristic tower in the background (I love the juxtaposition) this must be the African Adventure in the 24½th Century! [JB keeps vigilant for a spotting of Duck Dodgers.] Hmm, I guess Wanda is 'just visiting' this area to take in the view. All the same, I shall pray for the animals.

At first I thought you were showing us actual pictures you wanted to recreate.

Really beautiful job! I think I'm going to have to open up the game! I think I've played around an hour since it came out!

More great views! Those Addax are plotting to overthrow the world. I'm guessing those ostriches are females? I think the males typically have vibrant black and white coloration. Not sure how they feel about being called "common".

You are correct. You do know your ostriches.

Beautiful shots. I look at these and don't feel like this game needs a sequel at all.

Nyala: I'm guessing those stripes and 'dots' help it to blend-in when grazing in tall grasslands. Of all the current-day animals, rhinos look the most prehistoric to me. Like frill-less triceratops. Again, I love the incongruousness of the very futuristic tower rising up over the primitive African landscape.👍

The tower design was based on modern African architecture. (I showed pics in a much earlier post) So it's not really futuristic, although it does look it...a bit.

I know nothing about the game, but I'm assuming, just like real zoos, all these animals can be enclosed together? Or do you have to create elaborate underground areas for each species?

Asking for a friend! 😆

You can add as many different animals as you like to each exhibit. You can see which animals are compatible in the game's zoopedia. Some animals will fight and even kill each other if not compatible or when one is considered prey and another predator. Most often, only one male can be housed with females or again, there will be fighting for male dominance. So it is all very detailed and realistic to how real world zoos house their animals. Of course in sand box mode, you can turn all this off and put any combination of animals together and they'll all live in perfect harmony. ❤️

Personally, I have most features turned off, but still try to set up habitats in accordance to real world zoo "rules".

Another fun addition! I like how you keep managing to have a cohesive section feel like one habitat but it's actually made up of multiple smaller ones. The overview gives met ZT2 nostalgia. I loved building the jeep ride in that game, the jeep ride in PZ feels a lot more complicated to work with.
