PS Vision Gaming
I've been working on this map since the release date of Planet Zoo. If you would like to see the progress you can see it in the link below. From now on I will continue to show my work here. wolfpaw
Beautiful project so far! So cool to see how you expanded it from just two apartment buildings. This makes me want Frontier to release a Planet City now Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

I am also curious what Frontier will do in the future. I'm also really looking forward to Cities Skylines 2.
PS Vision Gaming
The last step for the environment of the petting zoo is the placement of a playground. At the moment I have installed some older playground equipment. https://youtu.be/P0WHtmoXoYs Edited June 19, 2023 by PS Vision Gaming
wolfpaw
Love seeing all the planning you do, layout continues to improve! PS Vision Gaming
The playground has now received a new large playground equipment. This because the previous playground was too small.
wolfpaw
These are some really gorgeous shots, I actually just got Planet Zoo yesterday since it was on sale on Steam. I hope what I can make is even half as good as this 1 Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
PS Vision Gaming
To bring the playground and the petting zoo together, I planted foliage and added a few details. For the dogs there is also a special dog playground with a number of equipment.
wolfpaw
Really love how this area is coming together, looks so good - love your foliage work as well! 1 Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Thank you. Still, I find placing the foliage very difficult. Especially if it has to look natural. PS Vision Gaming
To make the city park look better, I will make another sidewalk on the side of the park. The entrance and fencing for the park will also be located here. There is also the intention that there will be a public toilet, this is more intended to make the street a bit lively with peeps. wolfpaw
That parking lot of that apartment building you have is seriously impressive... I bet no one would even guess that is Planet Zoo from that photo. 1 Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
PS Vision Gaming
In the latest update, the cinematic camera has been added. This made it a good time to make a drone tour through the map.
PS Vision Gaming
Part of the fence now surrounds the city park. The entrance to the city park also has a gate, this gate is now there for decoration and actually no longer has any added value for the park. A number of street furniture have also been installed. wolfpaw
This project just gets prettier and prettier - love how realistic everything looks and how detailed you're going with every nook and cranny! 1 Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Those shots of the playground at night are even a little creepy... which is how unlit playgrounds look at night IRL! I half expected to see a drug deal about to go down in one shot! (and that is a compliment to you, PS... a testament to your authentic design :^) ) 2 Quote The idea is to keep an open mind... just not so open that your brains fall out. - Harry Anderson
Gin
This is insanely good! So much of this looks crazy realistic. I really like your little garden/greenhouse. And these are indeed very good locations to hang around and deal drugs. So this could indeed be a very good route for police patrols. On 7/23/2023 at 5:57 AM, Gin said: This is insanely good! PS Vision Gaming
The foliage and misplaced bicycles are placed around the fence. The self-cleaning toilet has been placed, normally you don't see it very often in Dutch cities. I only did this so that the peeps can walk in different directions.
Gin
That's the only thing I don't like about planet coaster and planet zoo - unless there's something for peeps to do along or at the end of a path, peeps don't use it. I wish there was a setting or something to get them to wander. 1 Quote There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow; shining at the end of every day. Wowman
I use vantage points (or whatever they are called) to lure guests into areas of the park like this. Also, very clever hidden vending machines, or shops can also do the trick. Also try adding a bathroom.
wolfpaw
The sheer realism of those streets is amazing, looks like a real render from a professional 3D engine software. Amazing work! 1 Quote there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Yes, I also use this to lure peeps, I also use mermorial signs, I bury these under the ground. 18 hours ago, wolfpaw said: The sheer realism of those streets is amazing, looks like a real render from a professional 3D engine software. PS Vision Gaming
My new project will be a construction site where an apartment complex is being built. The layout of the apartment complex cannot yet be seen because this can still change due to the underground garage that I am currently making. This is because the stairwell and elevator shafts can still be moved. Edited August 1, 2023 by PS Vision Gaming
