Kailash: Trail of the Sherpa (Himalayan Rolller Coaster)
Whoa! Now THAT'S impressive. The 'throne room' is amazing and I loved the braziers rising and falling...very cool.

Wonder World
Wanda needs a boyfriend, one who can overlook the assorted sounds issued from her different orifices. But there's only so many eligible men with liquor licenses, not that she is insisting on them being 'eligible' nor 'male' as long as they have that license in hand, which shrinks the available pool since ex-cons can't get said licenses and have to pay full retail. Hopefully someone who can be a father-figure to Scooter...or a mother-figure as he's lacking one of those as well. Nice to see that signature fountain from the Transportation Center recreated! Hearing Walt's voice brings back memories of Sunday night's and the Wonderful World of Color...of course all of Walt was there back then and not just his head, but still nice.

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Now we're going to enter a new area...Old Town! Nope, not the most original name, but that's what it was called on the original plans, and since I'm barely building anything even slightly like the original plans, I'll at least keep that name in homage to it I guess... There's three entrances to this part of the park from the Storyville area...all three require passing over a bridge. This one leads from the Animation Plaza we just visited... Just past the bridge we find - of course - a park souvenir shop on the right... Old Town's main street is full of bustling businesses... Past the post office and boot shop, you'll find the Pony Express office, where Huey, Dewey and Louie work to make sure your mail is speedily on it's way... Next is McDuck Bank, where Uncle Scrooge will help keep your gold nuggets safe...for a reasonable price of course... Around the corner is the Apothecary, The Rainbow Ridge Clarion newspaper, and a Ladies Millinery Shop... The daily Stagecoach is waiting for it's team to be hitched up... The town undertaker is just past it... Always looking for help...Mortimer Snead gets buried with work, always needing an extra hand...so long as it's still attached to someone still alive, he looks to hire a helper. The town's Boot Hill rises close by... Beyond is the mansion of the Widow Carmichael. Six times married, six times widowed, then she was committed to an insane asylum out of state, leaving her mansion in disrepair and empty...or is it? Rumor claims it's haunted by those former spouses... A caretaker offer prospective buyers to tour the mansion...if you dare... Many of those who take him up on his offer soon flee out the side entrance in quite a state of fright...right past the open grave meant for husband number seven... For those with weak constitutions, a convenient comfort station stands ready to be of service... Luckily they soon spot the backside of the town's building, and heave a sign of relief... Sheriff Mouse ensures that those who do evil round these parts are quickly rounded up and send off to the territorial penitentiary... Keep an eye open for any of these desperados! Especially this shifty-lookin' character...the reward is paid in gold certificates! We'll pause here and belly up to the bar for a cold sarsaparilla...until next time.

Trivia Bowl
While I'm not a huge NBA fan, I know that record was held by A: Wilt Chamberlin and I don't recall hearing of anyone breaking it. Growing in the shadow of volcanoes I know 219 is too high and 48 is way too low, so between the last two I'll go with C: 169

The Wonderful World of OZ
I think everything is done except the final bench - which contains the Northern Kingdom, which is where Glinda lives. It's partially done, but real-life has really reared it's ugly head the past few months (no, it wasn't me peeping at the window...). Rich has had hardly any time for the game for months, and since it takes a lengthy period of time to download this bench, work on it, then save again, the few times he's been able to even open the game he spent finishing up a few things on other benches - such as opening this one to peeps and taking screenshots so it can be released. I already hog more than my share on these benches, so Rich will continue to add his magic whenever he has time again (and he thought retirement was going to open up all sorts of free time!), while I shifted over to doing a rare solo with Mickey Mouse Park during my spare time (which has been less than before for me as well). Nope, 'quick and easy' ain't in our vocabulary! "Flying Monkeys"??? Well, for me more like a Flying Gorilla I suppose...

Rudi Rennkamel observations as to PC2 future
I share those mixed feelings myself. The recent updates and the DLC were hopeful signs, as is the effort to renew community ties, but... As Citytrader pointed out, it still comes down to economics. With Frontier looking at two new simulation games coming in the next couple of years, when will they reach the point where their focus shifts to those new games and away from playing catch-up with PC2? I don't see them hiring on large numbers of new people to work on upcoming projects, but instead they may well shift people from one to another. Yes, they may well have some nice things already planned for PC2, but 'planned' isn't the same things as 'released'. The developer's intentions may be honest, but other factors can trump those intentions, even the best of them. If their efforts to get the game back on track don't bring the interest and sales, then the bean counters could still pull the plug. The great unknown is "WHEN"? Right now I get the feeling that they are trying hard to salvage PC2, but let's face it - it's not going to get anywhere near PC1's numbers. The damage has already been done, it's now too little - too late. It's like an auto after a car wreck - sure you can patch it and repaint it and even add extras like new floor mats, seat covers and one of them smelly tree-shaped air fresheners, but the fact is it still was wrecked and has less value than before the wreck. Can they still make a much better game out of it, even if the sales numbers don't come in that they expected? They certainly CAN, and perhaps they will as their efforts of late show. Maybe working to overcome some of the bad vibes many people still have against the company is worth also doing if it removes those bad vibes from clouding other future Frontier game sales? One thing I did see on this video was somewhat encouraging - while they continue to still just have contact and conversations with certain creators - it was good that they included creators who are more than just fan-boi types who are willingly blind to problems, but instead included people who have been vocal in pointing out flaws.

RCT3 Vanilla looks stretched with 16:9 ratio
But 1600 900 is the game's default ratio, don't you want to change it to your monitor's ratio? What is it? If it's 1920 1080, then you need to change the game's ratio to match it. Wolfpaw made an excellent point. Remember that the ratio you set for the game needs to match the ratio set for the monitor to avoid stretching.

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Oswald does show up! I had to hunt all over to find an image of a classic Disney title-card with him on it! I also love the 'Eras Tour' mural, although it I was true to the late 1940's timeline of this imaginary park, the Mickey on the far right, which looks to be from the later 1950's, early 1960's, would not appear, but then again I came cross multiple versions of this anyways, so it doesn't matter I guess. Thanks for the comments - always appreciated!

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Here's a few night screenshots...mostly because I think the game sometimes looks better at night (or at least you don't notice as many of the bloopers anyways...) Next up...the imaginatively named "Old Town"!

RCT3 Vanilla looks stretched with 16:9 ratio
From Google: To fix RCT3's 16:9 aspect ratio, you need to manually edit the Options.txt file located in the game's configuration folder (usually found in your AppData directory on Windows) and change the Resolution value to your monitor's native 16:9 resolution, such as Resolution 1920 1080 for 1080p. Steps to fix the aspect ratio: Locate the Options.txt file: On Windows: Navigate to C:\\Users\\(your username)\\AppData\\Roaming\\Atari\\RCT3\\. If AppData is hidden: Go to "View" in the File Explorer and enable "Show hidden files" or hold the "Alt" key while using the "Go" menu in Finder to reveal the Library folder on Mac. Open the file: Open Options.txt with a text editor like Notepad. Edit the Resolution line: Find the line that begins with Resolution and change the existing values to your desired 16:9 resolution. For example, to set the game to 1920x1080, change the line to Resolution 1920 1080. Save the file: Save the Options.txt file and exit the text editor. Launch the game: The game will now launch with the new resolution set, allowing it to fit your 16:9 screen without stretching. **While it's been years since I played RCT3 of any type, these directions do sound familiar to what we had to do back then...

Epic Universe
How cool! The actors portraying the ringmaster and the actress playing the employee were both a bit on the 'hammy' side, but then that may well be appropriate for that. The idea for the show was good.
