Also, I will be going dark on all posts in about 2 weeks for a week or so. Going on a 9 day vacation out west to hike the Big 5+ in Utah. Really looking forward to it. I will share pics and video on my channel once I compile everything.

Man, it's been many decades since I've seen any of the original Batman episodes. And I've only seen (I think) two of the movies. IIRC, King Tut (as played by Victor Buono) was a college professor (or museum curator?) who got bonked on the head, or something, and only thought he was King Tut. So he hasn't lived for centuries like the trivia question asks. I've never heard of Ra’s al Ghul, but he sounds like an ancient dude to me. So I'll say B: Ra’s al Ghul.

Question 25: Literature

Upton Sinclair’s novel The Jungle depicted the gory world of this city’s meatpacking industry?

A: Chicago
B: Kansas City
C: Green Bay
D: Dallas

Hmm. Also a guess. I think it's between Chicago and Kansas City; both meatpacking giants. Chicago (with all of its pros and cons), would probably be of interest to more people. So I'll say A: Chicago.

Question 26: Literature

In 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Captain Nemo was master and designer of the Nautilus. 'Nemo' means:
A: No Name
B: No one
C: Ocean dweller
D: Little striped fish

And the threesome strikes again! It is indeed Latin for no one or nobody. Blame a Catholic school upbringing!

So B: No one

But I kind of liked little striped fish!!! 🤣

A: Stars

D: Types of snakes

A: Stars, Except Narcissa Malfoy. Despite being born a black, was not named after celestial bodies. Though she did continue the tradition with naming Draco Malfoy after the Draco constellation.

Spoiler

Attendez la crème

Yes- A: Stars. Although I can't remember the other names at the moment, I do remember that they all had star or constellation names. (Was Regulus the name of Sirius' brother? It's been a wee while since I've read the books or seen the movies.)

Question 28: Literature

In J.M. Barrie’s original story of Peter Pan, what is implied in the story to explain why the Lost Boys never grow old?

A: Pixie dust

B: Peter kills them off

C: They join Captain Hook’s pirates

D: They only exist in Peter’s imagination

OK, I don't know this one. While I dearly love "B: Peter kills them off", of the other three choices, D: They only exist in Peter’s imagination, appeals to me the most. So I'll go with that.

Wow, I haven't read the book in probably 50 years, but I will buck the trend and go with C: They join Captain Hook’s pirates.

Those guys have to come from somewhere, right?

Wasn't Peter Pan originally a stage play?

Most fairy tails have a grim/gruesome backstory in their original formats. And yes it was originally written as a stage play. J.M. Barrie wrote the play in 1904, but it didn’t appear in print until 1929.
