B&M Family Wing Rider and Invert This is the first time I'm posting these projects. They've been on the back burner for some time, and while neither of them are totally dead, I just haven't had the motivation to work on them lately. They're not the biggest or most exciting of my creations, but they're still fun little rides. I will finish them someday! The Family Wing Rider is inspired by Maximus - Der Flug des Wรคchters at Legoland Deutschland: and the theme would be after my favorite Halloween movie from my childhood, The Little Vampire. I need to research Scottish architecture for this one, as the movie takes place in Scotland. The Family Invert was inspired by the very first two of their kind, built at the Happy Valley parks in China. I have switched out the trains for trains with lap-bar restraints, since all of the newer versions lack shoulder restraints.

Giovanola Mega Coaster โ Work In ProgressI started this mega coaster as an experiment to see if I could accurately recreate Giovanola supports within the constraints of RCT3. I still don't have a complete layout, and there's a lot of small details like flanges that need to be added. As far as the layout goes, my initial idea was to make more of a semi-out and back design which is different from Goliath, and Titan. I'll continue messing around with it before I start more supports. Given how advanced these supports are, and how many times I deleted the turn around to restart (probably 4 times) I really want to be sure of the layout... because I'm notoriously bad at making my first drafts something I will stick with. ๐

When I added it on again it turned out to be a park file, and had been corrupted loosing some of the scenery objects. I saved the layout, moved it to an empty sandbox, and restored the coaster by reinserting the footers and fixing some of the supports. I then saved it as a blueprint track file, so it is no longer a park file. You can now use this in any park you want! ..::INSTALLATION::.. This is the must have, gold standard custom scenery set for steel supports in RCT3. It is always one of the first sets I recommend to new players. -
Two sets of aligning steel tubes, very popular as coaster supports. They are quarter-tile based and can be used to make unique support structures of many different shapes and sizes. Height Displacement: Objects will not move up or down when editing terrain. This means you can build a coaster on flat terrain, build all the supports (which is easier on flat terrain), then terraform as you wish without messing up the height of the supports. I don't know of any sets with catwalks/ nets that line up with the spiral lifts in RCT3 sadly. I'll keep an eye out for any I come across. On another note though, I don't think we have Callum's Catwalks uploaded yet to the site's downloads. Surprisingly I don't have that set in my vast collection of cso either. Would you be willing to upload Callum's Catwalks? ๐

I've recently discovered some tutorials on YouTube, that explain how to create custom objects in OpenRCT2 โ one of which is a image to custom object tutorial. However the tutorials didn't exactly explain tile placement, and none of the old forum posts I found elsewhere explained either... So to try and satisfy my curiosity, I decided to do an art study. This is a bunch of sample BMP files I made and imported into the Object Editor. I overlaid the BMP files over the screenshots for further analysis. While I haven't figured out the exact science, due to it being late at night and the end of a long work week... I thought I'd share none the less. Perhaps others can weigh in on this topic. Great news StationJimJr replied to my message via email. He gave me a link to a lot of his files. If there's any others missing I'll look through them to see if they're in the files. He also said he'd be joining ParkCrafters ๐ yay!

I totally spaced and missed the picture of the CTR somehow... brain fog is strong today apparently. ๐ It did jog my memory but I haven't found it. I did shoot StationJimJr a message on his website to inquire about CTR files we may have missed in the transfer... though I'm not sure if he'll get back to me or not since I'm not sure how often he checks his site. Fingers crossed it'll be soon.
