"Some" is an understatement! The Frontier workshop with PC2 stuff is even worse!

Just to clarify, this IS the Frontier workshop for PC2 that I'm talking about. I haven't personally encountered a lot of plagiarism, but I've seen many others complaining about it. They really need to make several changes to the workshop. The ratings system is pretty bad, as I've seen huge detailed parks that must have taken months to create getting 4 stars and then a fence built with six posts that took probably 5 minutes, also getting 4 stars. Not to mention the horrible search function and well...I could go on, but won't.

The signs around Expo 3000 are all being replaced. (Changing from in-game font to billboards. While the game's fonts are a big upgrade from PC1, they have there own set of problems, especially when viewed from a distance.)

Nice improvement, and I agree with you about the in-game fonts. Granted it's more than we had in PC1 but most of them seem kind of useless.

They should really let us install our own fonts. I'll add that to the list of things I want.

EDIT: just noticed the new floor. Def more fitting for a restroom entrance.

I've probably tweaked the design and several elements of these restrooms more than anything else in this build so far. I expect I'll find more things to change in the future. No, I'm not anal at all.

I never liked the WONDERful Memories photo shop sign (I've always struggled with signage), so it's been replaced. I think this fits the color scheme of the shop much better. Now, I'm still not sure about those topiaries.

The old sign.

I do like the new sign better, especially the 2-tone frame. I'm thinking the text could be a little brighter, maybe just the outlining, to make it more visible?

Much better I think. The old upper logo kind of got lost. I really like the new color scheme on the sign, the font is much better. I actually like it with the black background, although the white background on the old sign did stand out more... The topiaries do go along with the over-all WW theme I think, but not sure if anything else would work too...

Thanks, guys, for your input. I might look into brightening the font. Things look very different depending on the lighting and time of day in this game. It might look great at night, not so much during the day. And there's a huge different in the saturation of the colors when something is in the shade vs in direct sunlight. Getting colors and lighting right in this game is definitely a challenge.

Every change so far is for the better. Altho I agree with you on the topiaries, I just can't figure out what would work better in those spots. I don't like a lot of the current landscaping options in this game actually, Planet Zoo spoiled me for that.

Yeah I agree with more of a contrast with font and background. The font outline is probably the issue.

The final details are being added to the entrance gates.

Also, thought I'd post a comparison of the PC1 version vs the PC2 version. While nearly identical, the new lighting in PC1 and the ability to scale objects to create things that couldn't have been created in the old game without the TMTK, makes PC2 so much more fun to work in, as well as looking so much better.

EDIT: I think I might change the color of the turnstile entrance gate thingies. Maybe too much blue.

Wonder World is looking better than ever!

I've been thinking all this time that PC1 had better textures than PC2 but this picture indicates otherwise. Maybe it's just the pieces they imported from PC1 that aren't handling texture well...

I forgot PC1 had that style of entrance gates, I'm glad they brought the zoo entrances over to PC2 but really wish they had done something similar with the ride gates.

I haven't really done much of a comparison of the PC1 textures vs PC2 textures. Hard to make a judgement based on the above screenshots, as you're looking at mostly art shapes. The other thing I love is I can use the actual paths in PC2 instead of using path covers in PC1 to cover up the horrible path making system.

"The squeaky wheel gets the kick." -- Minsc (Baldur's Gate)

Loving the comparison! You really can get detailed in PC 2, it just takes longer to build haha.

Ha! Was that an actual AI re-creation of Walt's voice? Sometimes it sounded a lot like him, other times... not so much. I didn't realize Wanda had a cockney accent. Stands to reason, since she's Mr. Wonder's sister. And wow! I didn't realize Walt Disney's Head had such god-like powers! Awaiting the next serious episode of

Yes. I created it using clips of his actual voice, fed them into a "Text to Voice" site, and voila.

That makes it sound like Walt Disney's talking head is not an actual thing. Now I don't know what to believe.

News bulletin: None of them are actual people. Well, except Wanda. That's my actual voice. Or maybe not. I'll never tell! 🤪
