When I had about 8 decent candidates, we had a Scooter screen test and the above janitor got the job. (You see, it's not really Scooter, but just an actor who looks like him. 😉) ((And I don't even have to Photoshop his glasses like I do in Animal World! 🤗👍)) Edited July 19Jul 19 by shyguy "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? July 24Jul 24 Seeing Expo 300 revived through PC2 gives me crazy nostalgia back to the prime RCT3 days. The only thing missing are the low poly peeps! Can't wait to see more!
July 31Jul 31 oh wow this project looks absolutely stunning! great work and i love the vibe. i also think it somehow gives a nostalgic feeling. and the details on the signs with all the prices an such, i would never have that much patience
July 31Jul 31 Classic shyguy, attention to every detail!Wonderful creation, I look forward to seeing how this turns out.
July 31Jul 31 Author Thanks for all the nice comments. It always helps inspire me to continue working on such a daunting project like this. "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
August 1Aug 1 Maybe the 3rd, 4th, err 5th time is the charm? It is so cool seeing you do this again! It must take you forever to do these in PC2. Look forward to updates.

I open up and mess around in PlanCo 2, and I'm looking at these and thinking maybe I got a different version of the game because I have no idea what pieces you used or how you did any of this! there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
August 2Aug 2 This section of Wonder World I still go crazy over in RCT3 let alone Planet Coaster 2. Also, you may need to upgrade your plumbing if it is the same from way back then 🤣.Excellent work, please continue to inspire all of us!
August 2Aug 2 Author Returning to Expo 3000, while not included in the PC1 version, is the Photo Shop, or more precisely, the WONDERful Memories Photo Shop. Originally the Camera Shop in the initial design of the Wonder World Model, camera shops have not been a thing in theme parks for some years now. But digital photo services have gotten big.At the WONDERful Memories Photo Shop, you can purchase the DigiPass, which lets you collect an unlimited amount of digital photos taken personally, by the park's photographers, and on-ride photos, for a single price. There are 3 tiers from which you can choose to purchase. The Single Park, One Day Pass...The Multi-Park, One Day Pass...And the Multi-Park Annual Pass.Various pics of the park will be displayed on the monitors, once more of the park has been built.Video of the animated DigiPass display. (Excuse the shaky camera. 1st person camera mode is a bit janky in PC2. I'm hoping they'll make it work more like the PZ version, which is much smoother.) August 14Aug 14 Absent-minded guests keep misplacing their melons it seems... And those poor children - it's all Wonder...all the time on that channel.Love the splash effect above the water fountains, Scooter checking to make sure no babies were discarded in the trash can, and the toilet is stunning...although the water level seems a bit high unless it's one of those Japanese models that washes yer undercarriage? Usually I think those SPRAY water, and not involve DIPPING like one's preparing a cup of Earl Grey...But a WONDERful update as usual!
August 14Aug 14 A lot of these scenes look sooo real!👍 From the recent real world theme park photos I've seen, yer gonna need a bigger "Stroller Parking" area. ;-) I think that 'lost baby' came out of an arcade claw machine. Wagi already mentioned the watermelon... so I won't. (It must be getting pretty 'ripe' by now!) So, in the future, women will be wearing giant meatballs on their heads? (Baby Care Center Lobby).Oh gawd. Scooter is messin' with the water fountains; "Clean up on aisle three!" If Mr Perkins worked here, he would probably mistake those changing tables for urinals. Just sayin'.Really nice update. Thanks! Edited August 15Aug 15 by JB Shoulda been "their" instead of "there".
August 15Aug 15 Man you really took realism to the next level with these spaces. Good job! I am never surprised ar your levels of inventions and creativity.
August 18Aug 18 Please don't be offended by this question as that's not my intent: Do you use workshop items for any part of your builds?Asking because it seems I always say things like "love those water fountains, so clever" and I end up commenting on the one thing in the photo that the person did not build themself. Also, while I'm here: I love those water fountains, so clever. As are the parenthesis being used for rocking chair legs.
August 18Aug 18 Author 2 hours ago, JPTV said:Please don't be offended by this question as that's not my intent: Do you use workshop items for any part of your builds?A perfectly legitimate question. I would say that the majority of the furnishing are workshop items that have been modified by me, or placed as is. All building exteriors are 100% mine though. The rocking chairs are from the workshop, and one of the few items I kept 100% intact. (Yes, the legs are parenthesis) The drinking fountain started with a workshop item, which I used as a template for the basic size and shape, but then replaced about 75% of it to make it much more realistic looking. I'm quite proud myself on how they came out.The kitchen is mostly my design, with the exception of the microwave oven (modified) and the Pepsi machine (100% intact). Although, I've since replaced that Pepsi machine with another one from the workshop that I slightly modified. So let me just take the time now to officially thank all the talented people who have contributed to my projects with their workshop items. I'm not mentioning names, as I typically download a slew of items and then later go through them and choose the items I decide to use, making it too time consuming to go back and check who designed what. That, and the fact that many look nothing like they originally did after I've modified them, and also the fact the I've noticed some of the items are listed more than once by different authors. A sad fact that there is some plagiarism occurring on the workshop. "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
August 18Aug 18 5 hours ago, shyguy said:A sad fact that there is some plagiarism occurring on the workshop."Some" is an understatement! The Frontier workshop with PC2 stuff is even worse! I have found the exact same build listed by no less than five different people, each claiming authorship. At least a couple of items have stated "so and so's object modified by me" although the modification appears minimal.I realize when people post things on any workshop that they have given tacit permission for anyone to use or abuse as they see fit, but just outright posting someone else's work as your own? Really sad. Edited August 18Aug 18 by citytrader
