November 2Nov 2 Please don't assign any jobs at Primeval World to Wanda or Scooter...the world can't deal with Wanda getting the hots for a hulking T-Rex or Scooter leaving the door open to the velociraptor paddock.

Thursday at 05:52 PM2 days Author My most irrelevant video yet?I expect I'll be posting updates to Primeval World in the Other Games forum, unless we get a dedicated JWE3 forum here, which I doubt. Thursday at 09:46 PM2 days Ha! I rarely watched Gumby episodes back in the day. Now I know why... he's a foul-mouthed little jerk. Although, I do admire his philosophical bent (he does realize that he's a fictional character as well, right?). Is that dramatic music from the OG King Kong? It sounds familiar. The waterfalls look a lot nicer in JWE3.

You literally sculpt the landscape and then paint on the water and hope the falls come out decent. A lot of trial and error and randomness, with little control over what you end up with. And if you do any terraforming anywhere near where they are, you risk the chance of wiping them out completely. Then you have to start all over again if you save the game without noticing what you did. Thursday at 11:18 PM2 days Irrelevant, irreverent, and just a bit absurd. Which is probably why I like it so much.

Which is probably why I like it so much. Some people may wonder why on earth did I make Gumbies employees for the park. Aside from the fact that I'm a bit touched in the head, for those who don't own the game, there are really no employees in the game. Well, there are, but they are just guests skinned as employees...construction workers, scientists, etc., who just wander around like other guests. So I needed something to man my ticket booths, etc. I'm not good at building "characters" with the Planet games tools, and it would be even harder in JWE3. But Gumby is a pretty easy "object" to create in game, and I've added Gumby to other creative projects I've done. Before I got into RCT3, I created a couple of games using an old RPG creation software program. And to be funny, I created an island where the Gumbies live that the player can visit. I added even more Gumbies to a second game, giving them a bigger role. So I thought it would be fun to add him once again, to one of my projects. And putting an evil, potty-mouthed Gumby into the video was something I couldn't pass up. So there is a method to my madness. Sometimes.... Friday at 05:58 AM2 days I was pretty sure that was the soundtrack from King Kong. I think that was the music they played while the natives were dancing around outside the wall, in anticipation of Kong's arrival. And I'm sure you remember that the waterfalls in RCT3 also disappeared if you disturbed the terrain around them. Now I'm wondering if the Gumbies will be playing more of a role here... and if they are all foul-mouthed and evil.👹

It is indeed the native dance music.47 minutes ago, JB said: Now I'm wondering if the Gumbies will be playing more of a role here... and if they are all foul-mouthed and evil.👹It will probably depend on just who does their programming...Wonder or Mr Head. 🤔 "...if the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourists." --Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jurassic Park)
