I doubt Mr. Wonder, nor I, will live to see this completed. 😉

But seriously (well, maybe I am serious) this will take years, and most likely will be the last project I work on. We'll see how far I get before senility overcomes me.

Also...meant to tell you. I previewed Epic Universe and they have a bunch of Shyguy merch in the Nintendo World.

We have a Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood, which I assume would have it too. I haven't been in years, but thinking about going soon.

The San Diego Zoo... WHO NEEDS IT?!? Haha. Mr. Wonder's self-centered chutzpah sounds a lot like a certain South African billionaire. Glad to see you tackling this project, however complete it eventually gets. (Walt Disney's Head will either be green with envy or banging against the inside of his glass receptacle in outraged disgust!)

I presume Lake Wanda will be dried up, caked with mud and smell like dead fish like it's name-sake?

A new shyguy project in 2025!? Now this is gonna be a huge treat, loving the layout already and can't wait to see what you do in-game!

In a nutshell...Yes. The addition being Animal World, which I had originally planned to build with the Wild expansion to RCT3. But now I have Planet Zoo. This project will probably take about 100 years to complete 🤪, and the sad thing is that I have at least 3 more ideas for parks for the "Future Expansion" areas. 😬

I feel like all good projects are never finished. They may have a break or some creators block periods, but they never really die.

Yes, Wonder World will never die. No matter how many times I tell myself I'm done with that park, I still find myself wanting to rebuild and improve it.

I think we all have that special project we often revisit and enjoy working on, and constantly want to improve on! This is definitely your special project, and I'm excited to see what you have in store for us 😁

This project will encompass multiple games, so each will be posted in its proper forum. Lafitte Landing, the first of the hotel complexes, is being built with PC1. Here is the link...https://parkcrafters.com/topic/535-lafitte-landing/

I'm confused. So the part will be pieced together from both games, or will you be recreating in PC2 (hoping that, holding out that) items will be transferable some point in the future? Maybe throw a challenge out there for the community to help recreate. There are some really talented folks if you don't want to take it on yourself.

Each park/hotel will be built on its own map. Lafitte Landing and Wonder Beach Boardwalk, which I began years ago in PC1, will be continued with that game. Wonder World, Water World, and the WOW Resort Hotel will be built with PC2. Animal World with Planet Zoo. I'm considering a 4th game for a future addition...

oooh boy, yes....

Construction has begun on another of the parks at the resort.

Hmmm... are we at Expo 5000 now?

Well, lets see... This would be the 6th version of the park. The 1st was the scale I model I built. The 2nd was the non-cs version in RCT3 featuring the first four lands. The 3rd was the remodeled version using my cs sets in RCT3. The 4th was "Wonder World 2" in RCT3 with an expanded layout and better cs. I didn't get very far on this one. The 5th was built in Planet Coaster 1, featuring one of the new lands not built in RCT3. This was a bloated version of the park, with a much expanded and changed layout. I got about 1/3 finished and gave up...tired of fighting with PlanCo's annoying path system, 10 fps, and 5 minute wait times to load or save a park file.

This 6th version will be a closer representation of the original model, with some changes and additions to make it more realistic. Hopefully I'll get to build all 7 lands...So I guess this would be Expo 6000?

Looks like a cool concept! This could very well be an award winner for next year’s award show. I never got into Planet Coaster much but you like others seem to bring a great approach to your ideas. I can’t wait to see more progress pictures! Looks like you’ll be wearing a hardhat for the long run, lol. Cheers!
