Correct answer for Question 34: Sports

Abraham Lincoln was involved in what sport before he became so involved with politics?

A: Wrestling

Abraham Lincoln was fond of wrestling. Lincoln was considered a local wrestling champion by the time he was 21,

and when he was 29 he “cautiously” called himself “possibly the second best wrestler in southern Illinois.”

It’s rumored (but not confirmed) that Lincoln lost only one of 300 matches. Regardless of whether that’s true or not,

the 16th president was renowned enough for his wrestling skills that in 1992 he was the National Wrestling Hall of Fame’s Outstanding American honoree.

C: Soda
D: Iced tea

^ Ha! I never had the castor oil 'experience' as a kid... or as an adult.

Neither did I. Maybe we should ask citytrader, he probably remembers them using leeches to balance bodily 'humors' or tobacco enemas (AKA 'blowing smoke up one's a**") back in his younger days. Castor Oil was probably considered cutting edge 'modern medicine'.

Question 37: Last Sports Question

What baseball Hall of Famer was allergic to a candy bar named in his honor?

A: Babe Ruth
B: Ken Griffey Jr.
C: Frank Robinson
D: Yogi Berra

^ Same here: A: Babe Ruth. OH WAIT!!! I just remembered that the Baby Ruth bar was supposedly NOT named for the baseball player, but for the small daughter of... somebody, can't remember who (a president?). Sooo, among the remaining choices.... seems like there was a B: Ken Griffey Jr. bar, for about 5 minutes, so I guess that's my guess. Whatever the correct answer is, they were probably allergic to peanuts.
