It's always fun to see a RCT3 park re-imagined in Planet Coaster. I definitely relate to what you say about things taking so long because of discovering new techniques and re-doing areas over (and over). I'm already finding myself doing this with Wonder World, as I learn new techniques, find new workshop items, or get new scenery with the DLCs. I expect I'll be doing this a lot.

The Gateway Gifts are a pair of gift shops, each located at the exit gates. I never got to building these in PC1, so this is the first version since the RCT3 build. Flying saucers, anyone? The two shops are virtually identical, except for the color change of the display props and the color of the wallpaper.
  3. Universal or Disney should hire you to design their rides. Of course they'd need to fork out about a billion dollars to build them. Well, you've definitely mastered PC2. I have no idea how you did some of those effects, but I eventually want to learn advanced animation, ride triggers, and how to use the sequencer. Then, if I can make rides that are 1/10 as good as yours, I'll be happy.

I like the little fish pond. The "water" looks a little too white. Could just be the lighting. Very nice, though.
  5. Cograts to Bookworm91! 🤗
  6. Love the building in the first screenshot. Love the double decker carousel. I guess I love everything so far.
  7. Well, I'm no coaster nerd, but it looks like a very solid effort...nice and smooth and honestly, looks great to me. Welcome to the world of PC2. I'm curious to see if you develop the love/hate relationship a lot of us have for the game. 😉

I'd love to hear more about the history. And maybe a screenshot or two of the original RCT3 park if you have any. You've done a great job lighting the park. I look forward to seeing more.

The Transportation Center RCT3 version PC1 version I'm very happy with the way it turned out in PC2. This version will be much truer to the version I created in the original model. In PC1, the Transit Center interior was huge...mall sized. This version will be scaled back to the size and shape in the model. This is the PC1 version. Although impressive, it was nearly double the size of the original model, and looked nothing like it. The Auto Raceway was moved over here, so you had to enter the Transport Center to access it. The PC2 version, so far. It's much smaller, but truer to the original concept, which was based on the old Horizons building at Epcot. The RCT3 version of the fountain sculpture inside the atrium was pretty atrocious. In the abandoned Wonder World 2 project in RCT3, the fountain sculpture looked pretty good. I pretty much hated the PC1 version. I tried to give it a slight organic look in PC2 to match the new palms and foliage, new to this version. (There were planters along the edge of the atrium in the model, which finally made it to my digital version.) So there it is. I still don't love it. Maybe it needs some texture, but not possible using the art shapes. Any suggestions are appreciated. It does look nice at night, though.

Thanks. Yes, we really need some more foliage in the game. What we have now is very disappointing. Not only the lack of variety, but also the horrible LODs and the general poor look in general of most of the foliage...especially compared to PZ. Oh yes, and the gale winds that seem to be blowing on them. Just waiting for the trunks of my palm trees to snap. That is a mystery, isn't it. Although I did establish that he is not really in the park, but in a secret control room somewhere. Which may or may not explain how he continually hacks into many of the electronic systems of the park. But it's very possible that he may have an accomplice helping him.
  11. I finally downloaded the park. It took a few play sessions to see it all, as there is just so much to see. I recommend everyone do the same. As good as these screenshots look, they don't do the park justice. There is so much to discover when strolling through the park in person. So many little details and places to discover...some very impressive interior work, and themed queues that rival and even surpass anything I've seen at the Disney parks. Beautiful park. Great job!

I didn't understand what you meant until I just now noticed I accidentally titled this PC3 by mistake. DUH! 🙃

Well, the topiaries in front of the WONDERful Memories Photo Shop died due to lack of sunlight. So, these shade-loving palms have been planted, to match the other foliage beneath the Spaceport. Inside, we've now got images on the screens.
  15. A great re-imagined version of Dark Universe with enough of your own personal touches to make it an original. I like your use of the curved billboards in the portal. You've done a great job of creating a dark, atmospheric land.

I just can't stop making changes. Thanks to a new Lockers Blueprint by RoboticI, the lockers now have new latches and keypads.

Welcome to ParkCrafters. I just got back from my first ever visit to the Knott's Scary Farm event and this certainly captures that Halloween overlay feel. It just needs the scare actors waiting for you inside the fog. 👻
  18. I know the Steam sales for PC2 were much lower than PC1, but the game is also sold on Epic Games as well as being released for Playstation and Xbox. So this probably diluted the Steam sales. So it's possible that overall sales numbers were higher than what what you'd gather if strictly looking at the Steam numbers. According to Frontier's financial reports, the game did "okay" but not what they expected. So things may not be quite so dire as some may think. On the other hand, 40% off for a game less than a year old is not encouraging.
  19. I'm still waiting for them to start to engage with the community. I visit their official Discord server daily. There is no engagement going on there. The Suggestions thread must have about 300 entrees or so and I'm wondering when or if we will ever see a single one of these added to the game. I can't imagine the devs or any of the higher ups are actually taking the time to read through this massive list. There is absolutely no response nor even acknowledgement from Frontier regarding any of the suggestions. And so many bugs and glitches are being posted that have gone unresolved since the game was released. And sadly, new ones introduced by many of the updates. Rudi states how Frontier wants to open up communication lines with the community, but they don't seem to understand that communication is a two-way street.

Thanks, Wagi. You made my day...I think.

In the past, I've never really cared about or tried to grow my channel. While I don't expect large numbers, I'm now experimenting a bit to see what works and what doesn't. It would be nice to get my viewership up a bit though.

I posted my first Youtube short. I figured I'd try this out, especially for more edgy (possibly offensive) videos. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YG-oLVi8xuA
