Because we can never have enough food spots in Expo 3000, now completed is the Pit Stop. Could this be a hint at the first attraction coming to Wonder World? The Pit Stop is a simple snack and refreshment stand. Nearby, you can sit and enjoy your refreshments in the covered dining area. An artist's rendering of the Wonder World's first attraction, if you didn't get the hint. Yes, this is what happens if Disneyland's Autopia, and the failed Rocket Rods had a baby.
  2. Some screenshots from the JWE3 website. The new DLC will feature 3 new dinos and the Wetlands Scenery Pack with 212 new objects! The free update (featuring new Cypress Trees) and the paid DLC launch on Dec. 9th.
  3. Love the beanstalk and the castle is beautifully lit. Not a fan of the carousel sign with the big white glowing letters. I first thought that you Photoshopped the word "CAROUSEL" across the screenshot. But other than that, this is my favorite land.

A freak snow storm has hit Wonder World. Probably a first for San Diego. I hope the palm trees survive.
  5. I've checked out the Toy Box DLC and as it still doesn't impress me, there are actually a lot of pieces that I can use for Expo 3000 so I'll be buying this one right away. Many of the pieces can be scaled down to 20% which is much better than only 50%. Unfortunately, I need some of the pieces to scale even smaller for what I wanted to use them for. I don't know why Frontier can't just make all pieces scale the same. I have yet to purchase the Sorcery Pack, as I have no need for it now, and am waiting for it to go on sale.
  6. Welcome. I look forward to seeing your new projects.
  7. Well, since I'll soon be posting my JWE3 park here, I thought I'd get this forum started with news about the game. Update 1.2 is coming along with the first DLC pack. This game actually exceeded my expectations, and is very similar to Frontier's Planet games, with a huge assortment of scenery objects to create whatever you want to add to your park. The new DLC has been announced and although most players are excited about the new dinosaurs coming, I'm much more interested in the new scenery pack. There are already so many scenery objects in the base game, I wasn't sure if Frontier would be adding anything new, at least not right away. But the Wetlands pack is going to add new swamp-based objects, which can be seen in the first shot in the video. It looks really good. I love the more realistic look to the scenery in this game, vs the more fanciful look of the sets for Planet Coaster.
  8. I'm very unexcited by this. It's a kids-themed art shape and decal pack without the kiddy rides. This will only be useful if we can scale the objects down to 5% like the existing art shapes. In the beginning of the video, they show the pieces scaled toy-size, but I'm wondering if that was just for the video. None of the rides does anything for me, and that parachute drop ride is ugly.

Lots of impressive architecture in this last update. My favorite is the Cinerama.
  10. The Snow White walk-through is "charming". I like your version of the Snow White tale. It's so sweet and wholesome.😒

The First Aid Center sign has been changed from a free-standing one to this more permanent one. More artwork hanging on the hallway walls. The examination room Down the hall is a small restroom. I've made so many of these, I'm considering changing the park's name to Toilet World. Backstage area behind the First Aid Center/Sandwich Port building. In case any guest is badly injured, an ambulance is available to rush them to the hospital. But nothing like that would ever happen to a guest at a Wonder park.
  12. Love the donut shop and especially the kitchen. The Bahooka Restaurant is beautifully themed. Great update!
  13. I agree with Wowman. I've also toned down my night lighting after noticing how dark theme parks actually are at night. The buildings and attractions are lit up fairly well, but the actual pathways aren't brightly lit at all. I'd probably remove about half the lamps you have along the paths. Everything else looks great.
  14. Same here. We San Deigan's have no idea what snow is. And I have a vague recollection of thunder and lightning storms.
  15. If you look carefully at the last segment of the video, there are plenty of new objects...all toy related. Looking through the windows, you can see what looks like a parachute drop, possibly like the one in Toy Story Land at the overseas Disney parks. Lots of requests for kid's attractions, so this looks like that's the route they're going for the new DLC.

    The nurse's station

Another view of the First Aid lobby. This room is set aside for people needing to lie down, rest, or wait to see a registered nurse if needed.
  18. Very impressive!
  19. Yes. Currently you can set the weather type you want in Sandbox mode. I assume that will be the same for snow and thunderstorms. Well, I'm very impressed by this new update. Lots of things being added that I expect were planned, but put off for the premature release. These are almost ALL the things I was hoping to get for the winter update. The only thing missing is the snowy biome, but that could be coming, but not yet revealed. It also looks like I'll be replacing the heat lamps once again in my Wonder World restaurants. 🙄
  20. Very nice. Love the various vendor signs. Are these original TMTK objects you made?

Around the corner from the Sandwich Port is the First Aid Center. The lobby

The heat lamps have been replaced with new ones. I found these on the workshop and liked them better than mine. New restrooms near the Sandwich Port.

Yes. Both the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park have a small stage near the front of each park that (used to) showcase their "animal ambassadors"...animals trained to be comfortable with being up close to guests. Although recently, neither one has been utilized for that purpose. The zoo's stage is now used for musical presentations during holiday periods, and I haven't seen anything go on at the one at the Safari Park the last few times I've visited.

Now you've hurt Spunky's feelings. The sad thing is, he will most likely die of old age before the park opens.

There are heat lamps for those cool San Diego evenings.
