Frontier should take a look at Prehistoric Kingdom. Those devs seems to understand exactly what the sandbox community wants. Three games after Planet Coaster, and I still don't think they get it.

So rumor has it that missionaries tried to bring religion to the heathens in Zimbwowee Village and built this church at the end of the street. But they were quickly booted out, and the church was converted into an ice cream parlor to cater to the increasing tourist trade. Across the street, next door to the bakery, a small building has been erected to feature the town's first exhibit. So apparently, these little critters can commonly be found crawling around in the homes of the local residents. So someone got the idea to collect them up, give them a fancy name, and put them on display for the gullible tourists who think they're viewing some exotic insect. Planet Zoo's exhibits leave little to be desired, as they're way too big for insect displays. The Village Creamery at night.

We're heading into Phase Two of what was the RCT3 version of the park. Unfortunately, I have lost the file and am doing this all from a few screenshots I had taken. Among the lost content was the Park Inspector's Wild Ride. Luckily, I still have the video on Youtube. That said, I will most likely NOT be recreating that ride, as it was an homage to the Water World soap opera where Mr. White was trying to sabotage the park and kill the Park Inspector. I expect there aren't many people around now who remember that, so its best to leave that in the past where it belongs. Moving forward, as we approach the Backwoods area of the park, you'll come across the Aero Gliders. The entrance queue to the attraction with the not-so-subtle covering up of the concrete cylinders Frontier put at the start of each queue. What were those supposed to be anyway? On old pic of the RCT3 version of the queue. My pretty faithful recreation in Planet Coaster.

Unnamed and Unplanned
Looking good so far. I like how the big robotic dog blocks your way. As for suggestions, it's hard to do as I know you're not finished yet. But I'd say some of the scenes could use more detail (maybe more controls panels and blinking lights added to the plain walls) and the lighting in some of the first screenshots seems a little bright. Oh, and more targets. 😁

And we have, yet another restaurant. The Sunrise Cafe is the park's first waitress service restaurant, serving only breakfast and its famous Sunday Breakfast Buffet. the menu The Sunrise Cafe features four dining rooms and an outdoor patio. The buffet line and fountain. The buffet table. This was a workshop item, much altered and enlarged. I added many of the dishes, the heat lamps and the sneeze guard. The Omelette Station. One of the several dining rooms. Outside is the dining patio. This spot offers a nice view of the atrium fountain. The flower room. All the paintings on the walls are the exact images used in the original RCT3 version of the restaurant. Err, I forgot there were restrooms inside the restaurant. So forget what I said above about not building any more restrooms any time soon...😐 A small waiting room outside the restrooms. The other side of the room. The obligatory view inside the restrooms. (The restroom budget for the park has pretty well been shot, so these are quite basic.)

I really didn't like the way the snack bar turned out, so I went back and made some changes. I also persuaded Mr. Wonder to drop the prices...a little.

No, Westworld was not a comedy. It may start out light-hearted, but turns dark very quickly with the theme park animatronics attacking the guests (that does sound like a comedy, doesn't it). I thoroughly recommend it, as dated as it is. So thanks for the long rant, er, explanation of the problems you had. It sounds like nothing I haven't already encountered, so I actually feel more confident to press forward. I had heard some people having issues with all the triggers they spend hours setting up, getting jumbled up and nothing working correctly. But I agree you can do some really great things with the game, as long as you're prepared to be a masochist and put up with the ordeal of creating anything remotely complex. Frontier is a company with some great artists and animators, but they absolutely suck at game design. The bugs that are still in the game, and there are still so many, are not there because the devs just haven't gotten to fixing them yet, but because the devs are incompetent and simply don't know how to fix them. At least that's my belief, anyway. And don't expect "that" big dark ride coming any time soon from me. I have so much I need to do first before I get to it, and I haven't decided whether it is going to be a recreation, or something different with a completely new story line. Maybe I'll do a recreation of the original RCT3 version. 🤪 Check it out on my Youtube channel if you want a laugh and see my very first, absolutely horrible, attempt at an indoor roller coaster.

Great job! This is your best work to date, at least of what I've seen. I liked the kids trapped in the cage in the beginning. And I noticed the Bird Cage Theater from Knott's. So what things did you find broken in the game, as I've avoided building any dark rides yet and don't want to waste my time if it's a nightmare getting things to work the way they should. Not that I expect much to get fixed in the future.

I love how a randomly placed watermelon becomes a long running joke. I'm going to have to start strategically placing them in more screenshots, so we can play "where's the watermelon."

And now, the biggest one yet.................. Restrooms, that is! The Transportation Center restrooms are the sixth and largest restrooms located in Expo 3000. And it's not even the last one in this land. But the last I'll be building for a while (the last one in Expo 3000, that is). Scooter just realized he's in the woman's restrooms.

A tour of the Administration and Operations Center The Animal Administration and Operations Center is nearly completed. The main entrance A nice view of the park's entrance from upstairs. The central atrium Looking into the Conference Room. Inside the Conference Room Staff Break Room The Research Department Some areas of the center are still a bit sparse looking. Some art on the walls might help, but the budget needs to be used for other more important things right now. The Delivery Dept. A shipment arrives at the warehouse. Animal feed and other supplies are stored here. A snack bar for the park employees. Outdoor seating area And we can't forget a visit to the employee restrooms. We won't speak of the stopped up sinks. the courtyard Panoramic view of the Administration Center and the park's entrance.

Guest Services and the Lockers. Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals and Restrooms. No, there will be no detailed restroom interiors. I know you're all very disappointed by this, but interiors are not easily done in this game. It's not that they can't be done, but at this point in the game (and my skill level as I learn the ins and outs of building things) they would not look very good. This may change as more features get added to the game, along with more scenery objects. Back stage area.

I actually began building Wanda World in PC1. It consisted of casinos and bowling alleys. And of course there would be bars...lots of them. And I suppose a theater with performances by the Chippendales would eventually be added. 😉 As far as seeing the characters in the park, the facts are somewhat vague as to whether or not they are actually there. Wonder has stated that he is in his recording studio doing the narration, with a cameraman doing the photography. And Mr. Head is in some sort of secret control room. So perhaps Wanda was in the park riding along with the cameraman, getting drenched in the rain. I really don't know myself. 😁
