Watching some of the development on call was a fun experience. The level of details and original ideas that came from real-world parks is just incredible. I do not envy the individual pixels you have to modify 😅. Great work and I cannot wait for more!
  2. Things may seem a bit different than the last update. For nearly 10 years, the look has remained the same and I am happy to announce that the park is reverting to its original design. Yes, that means it will return to its identity crisis park status. In progress for this redevelopment is the main entrance. The main entrance is far along in its redevelopment and will be the first area to be finished. I plan on this development taking place in phases and to produce a fuller and more detailed version of the park.
  3. I currently use Imgur, I used to use TinyPic back when it was a thing. I did look into this a little bit and found the ban in the UK (saddening). I will see what else I can do. Hopefully not many members are having this issue, that would make things not as fun.
  4. Who needs sleep when you have parades testing? Well, not just any parade, Spectromagic!
  5. If I even touch the mixmaster for something that long someone would lose their mind..........they run the site.
  6. Welcome to the splendor, the spectacle, the sparkling sensation, where the comedy and thrill of Disney fantasies come to electric life. And now, Disneyland Park proudly presents, in a million points of musical light, the magic worlds of Disney...in SpectroMagic! The time has come to reveal when Spectromagic will be making its grand return to Disneyland Resort Dubai. Thanks to @C O N S T E L L A T I O N , RCT3 now has Spectromagic. This is a huge achievement that in the 20+ year history of RCT3 I did not think was even possible. Back in 2017, this project said Spectromagic would return in some form. That form was through Photoshop which was used heavily for projection mapping and other fun things to add to the park. In 2026, I am pleased to announce that the park has a physical Spectromagic. From concept to reality, this parade consists of 10 CTRs to make it work. 10 within a span of 3 months, @C O N S T E L L A T I O N congrats on a job well done! It is my great pleasure to announce that on May 30, 2026, Spectromagic will make its grand debut to guests attending the 2026 ParkCrafters Awards After Party at Disneyland Park. With the delivery of the floats, the park did a trial run of a majority of the floats ready to roll down Main Street. This is a really long parade and timing each CTR was a thing of magic in itself. Technical issues resulted in only 6/10 of the CTRs behaving. Previous tests seemed to misbehave more, but the scale of this parade is massive. The current parade route will cut through Adventureland before it is redeveloped and will be altered once that area is complete and the parade route is more clearly defined. Main Street and the hub will be the main viewing areas for Spectromagic and Disney's Magical Moments Parade which debuts on June 5. It will be a summer full of magical moments and new entertainment, I am excited to keep working on this project. March 2017 is when this project started and it has now grown to a much higher standard than I could have ever thought of.
  7. Over 20 year old peeps are set in their ways.
  8. Spectromagic testing is in full swing. More floats are on order and under heavy development by @C O N S T E L L A T I O N . The current floats in possession have been traveling down the parade route. The full parade route will be longer to accommodate the much larger final version of Spectromagic.
  9. Video test of the Spectromagic floats received yesterday. Received were the floats that had the spectromen and Mickey Mouse.
  10. On this magic night, A million stars will play beside us, Cast a spell of light, Glimmering, shimmering, carousel-ling 'Round the world tonight, A symphony in SpectroMagic. Pure enchantment lights our way! I am happy to announce Spectromagic will be making its triumphant return to Disneyland Resort Dubai. Thanks to @C O N S T E L L A T I O N RCT3 will have Spectromagic. Disneyland Resort Dubai recently received the first floats to test the parade path and the park's operations during the nighttime parade. When this project started in 2017, Spectromagic was only seen in poor Photoshop edits and was part of the story of the park. Now it will fill the streets with light and music guests will love. Its return will take place this summer!
  11. I think we jumped back. All the way back. WOD10 coming soon.
  12. Such a colorful park and so intricate with its details.
  13. I know I posted something on Discord a little bit ago, but that was RCTGo (ewwww). Here is a CTR link on ParkCrafters, I am unsure if both things I have sent are exactly what you are looking for. Maylene's Classic Corkscrew - Custom Attractions - ParkCrafters
  14. Thank you and who knows.
  15. Time for another update at one of the magical places found on ParkCrafters. Disneyland Park has been under heavy redevelopment and Main Street has been the primary focus of the current work for a few months now. Progress has finally made its way down the street and down to the redesigned hub in front of Cinderella Castle. Opening up the update is the typical sight of Main Street Station. Not a functional train station like other parks, but it still evokes that magical feeling guests get when they enter the gates. Town Square is mostly complete other than Tony's Town Square Restaurant and the left side buildings (City Hall, Guest Relations, Fire Station, etc.). Design teams have shifted the focus to more infrastructure to help support the upcoming parades (yes plural). Main Street itself is complete in its refurbishment to include new pathways, foliage, and other details. For RCT3, the forced perspective effect of Cinderella Castle oddly works when looking down Main Street. The colors were recently reverted to be similar to what is currently being wrapped up in Florida. The hub has finally been redesigned. To account for daytime and nighttime parades, the redesign was focused on space for the floats to go through the route. Then the focus shifted to seating areas for the Main Street restaurants. In the above shot, there are some areas that still need path covers and other details. The goal of including the seating areas was to break up the hub more and add realism. The seating area near Casey's Corner was inspired by the covered seating area in Disneyland Paris that was done in recent years. One of my favorite shots as seen above, was taken a few days ago when the first seating area was completed near the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Design teams were in shock over at how the area was starting to look in comparison to older versions of the center hub. Now the hub is in its final stages of completion. Ready for celebrations, parades, fireworks, and more Disney magic for guests to enjoy in front of Cinderella Castle.
  16. Halfway to the 10 year anniversary........wow.
  17. -For how long have you been creating trough games ? Well my parents claim since I was 2 so 26 years I guess. -Do you create trough other form (traditional medium , digital drawing , gamedev etc...) if yes can you please precise it? I used to use Photoshop and Illustrator religiously. I could use SolidWorks to make models but that is my job during the day so that would be a bit much 😅. -Do you consider your creation inside those game to be art? why? Absolutely, my main medium is theme park games where I take real-world experiences and creations and adapt to my own ideas. -Why do you create trough those games ? Just a creative outlet and something I have done for MANY years. I also think creations in theme park games is more fun than other mediums. With the games having the people in them, you can get some fun reactions to your creations. -You share your creation trough forums why is that? I have been on forums for many years, I did not start posting projects until 2016 when I was in college. It quickly evolved into becoming a prominent member then staff member. -Do you consider the game you're creating with a game or more like an engine / another creative software? I would say it is a creative software at this point. RCT3 ONLY : -Why are you using a 22 years old game when more modern alternative exist? There has been so much custom content released that it almost feels like a whole different game. There are still things being created for it and plus I have projects that I joke will never die. -The game has an expansive list of mods and custom assets , does the original game still impact your creation or as it just become a simple base to use all of those assets? The original game does serve as a base. I do still use in-game elements to plan what to put custom ontop. -From what I understand some of you even create custom assets in the game can you explain your creative workflow? I am not that crafty, but I have been known to pinpoint where things are from. -Some of you have been very influential in the modern park tycoon game trough your mods/creations. Would you like to share your tough on it? Just go with your imagination and have fun. I take real-world parks I have been to and make different changes to make things my own.
  18. Hollywood here we come! It has been a while since I have posted anything related to this project. Between life and trips and other refurbishments in RCT3, it has been a busy time! Disney's Hollywood Studios is also in the middle of a massive overhaul that I am excited to share progress on as well as two massive additions to the park in the near future. Since the last update, many construction walls have been taken down to reveal reworked sections of the main entrance area. Some buildings are being reworked on the left side of the street to further align with the real Hollywood Studios in Florida. The right side of the street is complete. Changes included adding trash cans, foliage, lighting, and benches. The color of the curbs are similar to those found at the real Hollywood Studios. I used Google Street View and reference images to get things as close as possible in this over 20-year-old game. Trolley Car Cafe is still in the works to be a quick service offering for guests. Starbucks is in its own building unlike the real-world theme park. The left side of the street is getting the overhaul love. Buildings have changed and adding details is the primary focus. The building pictured above was once home to a small theater show, it will soon be more gift shops to parallel the real Hollywood Studios. The show will be elsewhere in the RCT3 park. During my recent "research" trip, I had two days at Disney's Hollywood Studios with one being a day with some of our ParkCrafters family. We discussed variations and how the creations we make differ sometimes for the better. Carthay Circle Theater was an example brought up and some of the creative freedom in the game was discussed. As far as big additions, 2026 will see the addition of Disney's Paint The Night Parade created by @C O N S T E L L A T I O N as well as The Great Movie Ride created by @Theme Park Recreations . Paint The Night is a major achievement in the RCT3 world and will be the second parade added to Disneyland Resort Dubai. Another parade is in the works and already has an assigned park 😉. I was lucky enough to get frequent updates that only built the excitement for the bright addition. The parade did have a play test and delivery celebration after hours at Disneyland Park. The Great Movie Ride will bring the RCT3 park a classic attraction as well as an icon. Preview videos on YouTube of The Great Movie ride already show it filling the gap this park has always had in terms of attractions and filling space behind the sorcerer's hat. From the preview videos, this is a very detailed attraction much like other creations.
  19. I am always plotting something with this park 😅.
  20. I have returned from a "research" trip to Walt Disney World. I took many pictures and saw a few new things. I am already making big changes across Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios that I am excited to share in the near future.
  21. Beautiful! This would definitely be a good set for Rivers Of Light as well. A very useful set for shows I am sure are in your list.
  22. Billboards have been in and out for me, I think with older Windows they work more often.
