A set with different windows. This set includes:
* normal windows
* diagonal windows
* offset windows
* diagonal offset windows
this is my first set and there are some fouls in it. If you've downloaded this set you'll notice that window 1 is missing, this is because I've decided to remove it out of the set at the last moment.

Created: 05/12/11. Here is a set that I've always wanted to make. And I have decided to release it! It's those safety guide signs that you see around many amusement parks. These come in many different positions to fit any kind of path!

Created: 09/03/08. WARNING: This is a duplicate of my "Emerald City of OZ" scenery set. Installing this one on top of an existing installation will cause either a game crash or (if you're lucky) just replace the earlier set with this alternate version
What's different about this version? I've changed the textures used in it - at the suggestion of Doughnuts- to make the pieces a little more versatile for some folks. This was done by re-building the shared textures used in the set, not by re-making each scenery piece; thus the scenery files have identical names as the other version and therefore, you cannot use the two sets at the same time.
I have successfully replaced the previous version with this one and then opened a park that contained OZ scenery and everything seemed OK. I do recommend that you back up your parks and the other OZ set if you plan on trying this one out, just in case something happens.

Created: 09/26/10. 2 sets in one. Both sets have been sitting on my hard drive for a while now and I cannot bring myself to continue developing them. Maybe I will some day but I figure that many of you will find some creative uses for them as they are.
Some Icons are missing, and the set is difficult to work with; there really isn't a way to make them very useful in RCT3 because of RCT3's height restrictions for stalls and lack of elevated paths that don't have railings. Belgabor's Invisible Dodads can be used to make invisible paths without railings, but it is very hard to know where you are going with those paths, being high up and not being able to see what you have.
There are two main pillar sections, one designed to have embedded elevators. Getting the paths up to the floors can be tricky; I have found that it's best to start a straight staircase up to the highest floor, then work downwards making the final stairs through the provided floor openings.
Included in the SkyPad set are various pieces that can be used to make different layouts, though I have never gotten around to making the interior walls or shops as I had planned. You will find two special wall sections that have animated doors and platform covers that were designed to work with the in-game monorail. Once these pieces are in place, click each one and then assign them to a section of track just ahead of them so they work as ride events, the animation is timed to stay open long enough for a 6 car train train to pass through. There is also a glass roof dome and a roof railing with colorable lights. You can change the color of the lights befire the railings are placed by changing the 3rd color option (bottom right color selector).
The Googie Glass walls contain an animated revolving door which you might find useful in other building designs, along with a number of roof and pillar and beam sections. a variety of Soffet sections can be used to create flared roof lines as well as groovy breezeways over your queue lines.
The glass is colorable in both sets, and is generally X-ray free.
In this ZIP file you will find 2 folders. Each folder goes by itself into the Themed folder like normal custom scenery. One folder contain the Skypad, the other some new building walls for that 1960 Googie style look.
Have fun and enjoy!

Created: 08/18/08. This is a forgotten set that I started in the fall of 2007 and ended up parting it out into new sets: It started with a few walls and some benches (which turned into my Bench Kit) and some lights (the Kettle Lamp is now available in more varieties in my Light Kit 2008, but I kept this version in because it aligns with the stone pillars of this set).
Included is small set of stone half-walls designed to be used with sunken pathways. There are some path and ground fill-in pieces too (for the curved walls). There are also some "stairs" which work best if you make steep inclined ground with a path ion them (instead of a staircase). There are a couple of trees, too, and some lights, as mentioned above.
Enjoy.

Created: 08/03/08. Here is a working demo of the Mixing Bowl Chairlift I am developing - it is animated sectional scenery that can be assembled in a variety of layouts. The chairs ride along the track by hanging from castors that are pulled by the chain. I will tell you that it was a lot of fun getting the animated texture of the chain to synchronize with the castors (done with multi-repeat animation, the castors actually move only to the next castor's position and then repeat) and with the chairs (the chairs travel along the full length of the section). Eventually I will add "one-way" sections that might be fun for spook house type rides.
To place the pieces in this set, make sure your game is paused- it's really the only way to be sure the sections synchronize.

Created: 02/29/08. This is a set of Animated Scenery pieces that can be used to create several different themed SkyWay "Rides" This is not a ride- only animated scenery.
Download this set and extract the internal folder to your Themed directory as you would any other Custom Scenery set.
I do not recommend this set for players who do not have high end computers: Use it at your own risk.
To use the set you must pause the game and place all pieces or the pieces will not be in sync from one section to another. Detailed instruction will be in the comments section below.

Created: 10/30/07. This is a set of nice benches to use in your park. The file contains five different bench designs, each aligned differently. This set is not as complete as I'd like it to be, and I don't know if I'll ever get back to custom scenery anytime soon- other things in life are taking more time than I can spare.
To use this set, pay close attention to a transparent arrow that appears only when you are first placing the bench. The arrow MUST point down to an existing path or peeps will not use the benches.
Known issues: if the bench is placed over terrain that is too steep, or just in front of a hole (like what you might have for a reflecting pool) peeps might get stuck when getting up from the bench. With some pieces, peeps will face away from each other when two peeps are sitting. I don't know if there is a way to fix this and don't have the time to further experiment.
The benches are arranged in the Path Extras scenery menu, ordered by their design style, with the different placings contained in its expanding sub-menu. Use the correct placings to create nice areas for peeps to sit, making sure that the placement arrow points down to a path.
My experiments show that drinks stalls (like the lemonade stall) seem to trigger peeps to seek out nearby benches, as do Thrilling Flat Rides that spin and make peeps dizzy (like the rotor). First aide stalls and rest rooms seem to cancel peeps bench seeking, so avoid using these in areas where you want peeps to sit.
Enjoy!

Created: 09/01/08. Updated 9/1/08 - fixed Glass pieces with new importer for proper transparency.
Here is my City Of OZ scenery set. Please note- this set is incomplete as there are many more pieces I'd like to make for it. Quite frankly, it has so much in it already that I think most of you will find lots of useful things to use it for. Currently I have no plans to continue making pieces for it, but that may change.
For now, enjoy 😀

Created: 05/27/07. UPDATE: The vendors were floating a tiny bit above the ground. This update fixes this. No other changes were made to the vendor's positions.
This is a set of 4 Generic Entrances and 1 Generic Exit. There is no scenery around the Ride Operators, and Exit and Entrances do not have collision enabled, so you can place an exit in the same place as an entrance. Several positions are available for you to choose from:
Some themes, like my Emerald City of Oz, will include "Skins" that can be placed over these new entrances and exits.
Enjoy!
WARNING: Saved Parks & Scenarios, as well as saved Coasters that have these special ride entrances and exits will not load without this set installed. If you are planning to share a coaster or park with others and these entrances/exits are part of a ride, then be sure to inform them that they will need this set installed.

Created: 03/23/08. EDIT- 3/23/08 : version changed- Correct download file in place. If you downloaded this file between 2/24/08 and 3/23/08 please download again. You can check your current copy- if the files inside are dated from 2007, then you should download this new one.
EDIT 1-30-08: The glass walls have been "cleaned up" a bit- the texture is better and the glass is now colorable. I've also added some new Iron Spiral Stairs (a whole staircase kit, actually, but it's just scenery, peeps will not use it) and I've updated the icons and I think I've got them all in now.
EDIT 1-24-08: The set has been updated and seems to be free of the X-Ray effect in the glass walls and roofs
This is a set of structural supports and various iron girders and beams for use in your RCT3 parks. There are also a number of Glass Walls and roofs that are framed in the same texture style and should match up nicely with existing RCT3 sets as well as the iron girders and beams.
It is recommended that you keep the zipped download in a directory folder outside of any RCT3 folder.

Created: 12/08/07. Animated Gears and Cogs and a Steam Engine are now included in this set, too!
My Gizmos set has been updated to include new, animated Gates, WarningLights and WigWag that can be set up as Ride Evnets
These new gates replace the old stationary ones and the flashing lights, too. The new pieces will come as a "kit" with a base and pole, the flashing lights, the motorized gate arm or Wig-Wag, the pole top, and a few other extras.
You will be able to choose a 15 second (shown in the video above), 20 second, or 25 second animated ride event, and perhaps a few longer versions. Please note: these DO NOT stop peeps from crossing the tracks- I have yet to experiment, but I don't think you could have a "sign" (needed for the no-entry feature) coded into an animated ride event and have it affect peeps only whilt it's running- it would probably just keep peeps away all the time.
The new set replaces the old one, so keep a copy of the old set in a safe place. I recommend that you simply move the old Gizmos folder out of the themed directory and into one somewhere else, on your desktop or whatever. Just make sure that the old folder is not in any directory that RCT3 might access (like your RCT3 folder in My Documents, or in your pictures or videos, etc).
Also back up any parks that you do not want to loose- mainly parks in which you have used the Gizmos set (you can simply copy your Parks and your Scenarios folders to your desktop or where ever, again, making sure that the copy is not in any RCT3 folder). If something goes wrong, simply move those folders back.
What has changed:
The Warning Lights are now ride events and the model consists of a base, pole and a set of lights.
The crossing gates- all types- have been replaced with new models. The gates are designed to attach to the Warning Lights pole (they can attach to other things, too...)
The WigWags have been replaced with new models, and as such attach to the top of the Warning Lights' pole. The can attach to other types of poles, too
All of the above are Ride Events and you need to place the piece, click it, and then click the Ride Event button to assign it to a section of track. You can set multiple pieces (the lights and the gates, for example) to the same section of track, and I recommend that the trigger be about 5 RCT3 squares away.
Place all pieces before assigning items to that section of track. See my note below for why.
A Note About Ride Event Triggers: All pieces that share the same track section for the trigger point must be placed before starting to assign the piece. If you change any one part after assigning the trigger point, the other pieces may not work and will need to be re-assigned.
If you have the Warning Lights and a Gate assigned to a piece of track, thn then assign the Warning Lights to another piece of track, the Gate will probably need to be re-assigned, too.
If you have pieces assigned to a point of track and then add a brand new piece, assigning it to the same point, the existing pieces may need to be re-assigned. This is something inherent in RCT3, as the existing Ride Events behave the same way.
To make a path across the rail road tracks, first place the track, then lower the ground enough that you can place a path tile in the "hole." Now raise that tile up until it's level with the ground again and continue adding paths...
-Cheers!
