  1. I'm liking the lighting, great ambience!
  2. Congrats on the accomplishment, I know that when you and Wagi team up the result is not going to be anything quick and easy. Or even anything that fits on one map. Speaking of, is the entire project done with more benches ready for release or are you two still slaving away like flying monkeys?

That was quite funny. Curious how the viewing numbers turn out, seems the only way to get around the YT algorithm is to pay them. Maybe the shorts have a higher shot at making the homepage
  4. Thank you, Shyguy and Trimo. Very kind words and I don't take compliments lightly.
  5. haha, thanks JB. self deprecation is part of the shtick; I really do like how this project has been turning out. (and just between us, some of my frustrated whines were funnier (to me) than anything I tried to do in the first 3 takes) 😜
  6. Thanks JB, I'm flattered you remember any of that cra-- I mean, majestical works of art! 😁 Well this video would've packed a little more punch if I hadn't just posted the best pics of this area a couple days ago. But if you enjoy hearing me make a fool of myself, this clip will be a treasure trove.
  7. Welcome back Wagi, glad you had a good trip. No need to publicize any scenery for me, I think my PC1 days have long ended. But I was very curious about the fonts and designs you came up with, I'll have to check out that site.
  8. Ha, you're in luck -- I think the whole area was re-pathed after these photos, they were taken awhile back. I think I went with the cobblestone everywhere once we were able to recolor it. Thanks Daniel!
  9. I'm calling it a steam fair, kind of like maybe a world expo dedicated to the exciting new technology coming to the 1800's. But yeah, without saying that word anywhere in the park, it's total steampunk and the western stuff kind of gets lost in it. Kind of a stretch but it let me go crazy with visuals. Yep, the balloons are workshop from 2 separate creators, I'm compiling a list of workshop codes to put in the next video.
  10. Beautiful, and great job on those mountains, almost thought we had a snow biome for a moment there! ;)
  11. SDC has an older section of their park called "Grand Exposition" while Dolly has a similar area called Country Fair, mostly just a place for the more common flat rides that don't really fit into a specific themed area. So I wanted to do something similar but was trying to come up with a unique theme that would tie the rides together while still fitting into the rustic/wild west nature of the park, with bonus points for myself if I could continue setting things in the 1800's. It started with what a Ferris Wheel might look like in that era, and then it kind of snowballed from there.

Did Wonder send out a memo stating "more blue"?
  13. Thank you Daniel! I'll have more pictures (or a video) soon
  14. Beautiful and clever stuff as always. The signage really stood out, are those billboards? And if so, which of you has the incredibly photoshop skills? :D

Hmmm... seems like the videos have now caught up to your picture posts. That means the next thing we see of Wonder World will be new! (er, new to this version)
  16. Well that is just adorable. I knew you'd cross over to the dark (and often frustrating) side eventually!

That makes it sound like Walt Disney's talking head is not an actual thing. Now I don't know what to believe.
  18. I've been in all day without any crashes YET, but it is kind of normal for game updates and DLC's to break a few things that didn't show up in testing. Sims 4 is famous for it. It does seem like these are the bugs that Frontier tends to focus on and usually issues a quick patch within several days of release. I have mixed thoughts on the pack, it's the typical finding one thing I don't like for everything I do like. The scalability options amongst different pieces are ridiculously and arbitrarily random, as are the ability to color or not color certain pieces. And NONE of the big issues I've had since day one were addressed once again in lieu of things that weren't really bothering or affecting me. I'm sure I'll find more...

Wonder World is looking better than ever! I've been thinking all this time that PC1 had better textures than PC2 but this picture indicates otherwise. Maybe it's just the pieces they imported from PC1 that aren't handling texture well... I forgot PC1 had that style of entrance gates, I'm glad they brought the zoo entrances over to PC2 but really wish they had done something similar with the ride gates.
  20. Good morning CT. It's 5am here (central time) and Steam is saying 3 hours. So for you I'm guessing 9am? I was hoping to explore a little before work but doesn't look like that's going to happen.
  21. The scenery for this coaster would make it well worth the ride. The excitement of the track is added bonus. And the chance to burn some peeps is absolutely priceless. 😁
  22. Very kind, thank you Wowman. As I told Shy I really need to do some Knotts studying the same way I've been doing with Dolly and SDC, it sounds like there's a whole lot of inspiration to be found there. Self deprecation is part of the shtick I think, but also a thing where I try to lower expectations first and then exceed them. It's all quite shady, I know 😜 If you're playing Gnome Hunt, I think there were 7 in this video. There is also an 8th gnome in the park (the only female, ala Smurfette) and I don't think she shows up in this one. My plan for the gnomes is to give them a park section for the kids like maybe some enchanted caves or something that has a dark ride. I think I'm waiting for some more inspiration to hit before I start that up. And once I do that I'll probably pull quite a few of the existing ones out so that the kiddie section has a little more impact.
  23. The log flume was originally going to be full on Knott's (it seems to be a popular attraction as far as flumes go?) and then I found the one at WB Movie World which looks like it would be a lot of fun to build. (I might have called it Universal in the video, oops.) I do want to go research more of Knotts though, I looked at their mine ride but I don't think it will work for me here. Glad it looks good, I kind of think it does too. Hopefully a GCI fanatic will come along and educate me on any nuance that I'm missing. :) Thanks again Plokoon. I've been debating adding my own voice to a video for a long time now and came close to not doing it at all. All of the support is very encouraging.
  24. From your lips to Frontier's ears! I'd even be happy if it was NVIDIA compatible so that we could use Ansel on it. Reshade works well but this should all be possible in-game. Thanks, I'm happy you noticed the sightlines (and sometimes intentional lack of them) because I didn't really talk much about that :)
  25. Thanks JB. Tour vids are a great way to show off a project, and also a great way to find mistakes you wouldn't have caught otherwise! I'm in therapy for the gnome thing but I think it's going to be a long process :)
