Posted August 23Aug 23 I used the name Copper Creek for my first project back in PC1, a generic attempt at capturing the rustic essence of Silver Dollar City or Dollywood. So far I haven't leaned much into that original project; this one was initially inspired by the recolorable rocks they added which made me want to do my take on Thunder Mountain (shown only in the background of a couple of these photos.) From there I tried to up my architecture game by recreating old west buildings from online photos, and a couple of them turned out well enough to make me keep going and build an entire ghost town. The park entrance is another Disney influence, the fort they are using as the entrance to Adventureland Paris. Currently no mods are being used but I am using reShade to tone down Frontier's ridiculous color saturation.
August 24Aug 24 Looking good. The ghost town came out very realistic and detailed. Will this become a full-fledged theme park with rides and other lands? "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
August 24Aug 24 I love the look of your Old West Main Street. And I like how that little stream meanders through the town. 👍

I'm about 4 months in and there are 3 lands so far, all still in progress. The old west street (Saddle City, another name I've used before) will maybe get a couple of interiors as long as the exteriors can still look authentic.10 minutes ago, JB said:I love the look of your Old West Main Street. Problem is, Frontier made an arbitrary update that requires the track to be connected to a station if you want to get the water to show up, so now I've got several underground stations all around the park ☹️Thanks guys, it's great hearing your feedback again.
August 24Aug 24 Oh this is really nice! LOVE the stream, and your buildings are really authentic looking, properly aged and colored too. I really like this!
August 24Aug 24 Yes, this is fantastic! The old town looks amazing, and the buildings are so detailed and realistic. I really like the river running through the town and the rock work—it's a great touch. The facades are also very well done. And you're absolutely right: the color saturation is a bit over the top. So, re-shade is definitely a great tool to improve that. It fits perfectly with the vibe of your western town
August 25Aug 25 Very inspiring ghost town, the feel is very worn and distinct. I will be watching this! Cant wait!
Saturday at 10:32 PM3 days I like it! A pretty detailed creation that I see the Disney influence in. I cannot wait for the attractions in this area.
Monday at 03:31 PM2 days Author Thank you all for the kind comments!!"Crafter's Pass" is my version of Dollywood's Crafstman Valley (couldn't come up with a more original name, sorry). Silver Dollar City also has local artisans and tradespeople scattered about their park making cool things by hand and sometimes giving demonstrations. So I wanted to capture that cozy/rustic/mountain aspect somewhere in the park before things get all coaster crazy. I'm guessing I had to build over 30 unique structures for this area, pretty much copying existing buildings from those 2 parks and trying to rename and retheme them slightly. This area also has one flat ride and a small junior coaster, an indoor performance venue for various shows and local musicians, one full restaurant (still under construction) and too many other quick serve food options to list. Still detailing this area and currently not doing any interiors for it (there would be way too many and most wouldn't serve any functional purpose.)More to come from this area... Monday at 04:00 PM2 days More purdy pictures. When you say you use reShade, is that a specific program? Or a Photoshop feature? "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)

Or a Photoshop feature? It's a separate program, you can get it here: https://reshade.me/forum/shader-discussion/2120-downloadCan be used for any game, there's a part during installation where you select which game(s) you want it to be applied to. Once installed you can toggle it on or off while in game, and change settings at any time. For these photos today I pulled back on a bunch of my settings to focus only on toning the saturation a bit but giving it more color than my ghost town screenshots. It's also fairly easy to uninstall. Also worth noting: It doesn't seem to affect framerates, as I've filled up almost half a map now with no significant FPS loss. Bodes well for Wonder World, I think. 😉
Monday at 04:50 PM2 days I'll have to check it out. Thanks. "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
