Posted April 19Apr 19 I have just uploaded a set to the Downloads section which has never been released to the general public. It was a set I created to build a castle based on the Disneyland Paris Fantasyland castle. I figured some people might get some use out of it. There are tons of pieces, well over 150. It is mostly complete, but missing many icons. The scale of this is huge, as I had planned to add many things to the interior. I challenge anyone to actually build the castle using this set. Good luck. 😉If anyone does want to attempt to build this, I have more in-progress photos that I can upload that might help. April 20Apr 20 I think @Bookworm91 just found his next centerpiece! Something, sometime, eventually...
April 26Apr 26 Author I've had a request for more pics which might help in attempting to build this. A lot of these are construction shots. Unfortunately, I no longer have the RCT3 park file for this. Edited May 3May 3 by shyguy "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? May 1May 1 Oh my goodness, the detailing is amazing! I know what I will be playing around with 😂. And @Kablary you know me so well!
May 10May 10 HelloFirst of all, I'd like to say a big thank you to Shyguy. Of course, for the excellent work he has done in producing such high-quality packs. But also, and above all, for his kindness and the encouragement he's given me.On his 'shy-Fantasy Set 1' download page, Shyguy writes:"I challenge anyone to actually build the castle using this set. "I decided to take up the challenge and build a castle that would look as close as possible to Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland Paris. The screenshots show the Disneyland Paris original and its RCT3 reproduction. Here is the complete structure of Disneyland Paris' Sleeping Beauty Castle. You can install this structure directly in your park.https://parkcrafters.com/files/file/3824-dlrp-the-castel/But for those who want to have the pleasure of rebuilding it themselves,I've written a complete, step-by-step tutorial in 30 PDF pages for you to download. You can download it here!https://parkcrafters.com/files/file/3825-dlrp-the-castel-tutoriel/Have fun! May 11May 11 Author I'm very impressed that you actually were able to build this and even improve on it in some parts. Great job! "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
May 11May 11 Thank you very muchIt gives me great pleasure. I am unable to make the packs of objects that you make. I only assemble your creations. I don't like people who never laugh, they are not serious people. (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
June 20Jun 20 This IS FANTASTIC! How did I manage to miss this!?! 🤪-I thought this set WAS released, because I did ask about it some time ago along with few others, and JB managed to dig up few other missing, thought to be lost sets. This set has been used at least on one building set I have, but I just can't remember right now which one... I need to check when I finally get some time to do what I really want...Not to mention once again, that if people would really care more about these "lost" sets - we would all benefit from people who do have them, just would bother to check and upload what they have.I have now uploaded most of the lost sets U was able to rescue, I still have quite a few that need to be sorted and investigated further, because some of them are still missing some parts, and I don't know if I will be able to rebuild some fragmented sets.... 🙄
July 9Jul 9 This set has rekindled my interest in RCT3. I am currently re-installing the game and trying to copy and paste my old files from my 15 year old pc to my current one. I still remember following your Main Street / Disney park thread on the old SGW forums, Shyguy! I was so impressed with your castle and I really wanted to play around with the objects myself. I remember the castle looked HUGE in your park compared to the peeps and the park inspector (who you often placed in the pics). In fact I wanted to have a similar castle in my park so bad that I tried to create my own custom scenery set. I think it's still in the downloads somewhere on this site. Of course it is nowhere near as good or as detailed as your objects. I have such fond memories of the time when I was still very active on SGW. Even though that community is now mostly gone I want to say thanks to you Shyguy! Thank you for giving us the platform to share our creations and to talk to the community. I was still a child when I first joined SGW. Now I'm 26 and I am getting the chance to experience some real nostalgia because you've uploaded a custom scenery set that I've wanted to use for many, many years. - Quinn (My old nickname used to be ''Disney''. Glad they never sued me...)

July 12Jul 12 The set is used in at least once in one of the Belgabor's legendary buildings sets...So, if ShyGuy didn't release it publicly, there's little chance, that those other still missing sets will ever resurface... ☹️
