April 29, 20241 yr Author USERS PREPARE TO BE DIGITIZED INTO THE WORLD OF TRON From one of our top contributors to the custom attractions world, @FrancesCoaster and I have been coordinating with this request I have beat him down for 😄. I am probably the reason for the halt in requests and I am super grateful for the quickness in making requests a reality. This one is a fun one and updates have been one right after another. Might pester him to come up with a fictional company for all of these attractions. His efforts have been phenomenal, and this is an attraction I am super excited to add to a pretty extensive line-up. 2024 is a huge year for ParkCrafters and RCT3 and this is something that will be a massive addition for the big occasions. This could not wait for D23 season because it is just too good! Thank you again @FrancesCoaster for your continued support and keep pushing limits for the RCT3 world.
April 29, 20241 yr OHHHHHHHH BOY! Hopefully it doesn't take you a billion years like it did for WDW 😁 there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

May 11, 20241 yr Author Like all other Disney parks, Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai comes to life at night.
May 27, 20241 yr Author Happy Monday everyone! Today I walked through Main Street and decided to get my camera out to do a brief update. Much of the park is under heavy development, but most of Main Street is complete. Some sections of the hub still need fencing and finishing touches. As always, the entrance looks ready for guests. This project has had roughly the same version of the entrance since its beginning in 2017. Once your magic band is scanned, the magic begins with multiple themed lands and many experiences. This quote is true for the Disney kingdom parks and this one is no exception. In this version of the project, Main Street is much much larger! I am still finding traces of the old Main Street and hub. There are thoughts of bringing back the Main Street Theater at some point to continue featuring Mickey And The Magician, but the location has not been decided. Very little has changed with the mock-train station. Lots of different buildings have been added to this version of Main Street. The refurbishment of Main Street is heavily inspired by Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Paris and Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The refurbishment also brought the trolley tracks for potential entertainment offerings and other enhancements that contribute to the energy guests will see as soon as they walk into the park. As always, you look down Main Street and see Cinderella Castle off in the distance. Looking back as you reach the hub, the scale of this version of Main Street makes the previous seem like nothing. Reaching Cinderella Castle, the other lands welcome guests, but they are under development as new ideas are coming and going. ANNOUNCEMENT: This project has been nominated for the first ever Park Crafters Awards! The nomination is for the People's Choice Award. The sister park Disney's Hollywood Studios has been nominated for the People's Choice and Best Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Project awards! I started Disneyland Park in 2017 and quickly jumped on to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both came after the success of World Of Discovery and all three projects have seen so many changes in the years since. Disneyland Park is being redeveloped to include many creations by members here at ParkCrafters, much have been wishlist items for years! I am very excited for the awards this week and I am ready to share more of what I have been plotting. This project is a fun one and has adapted to what Walt Disney Imagineering has been working on and shares to the general public, so this is definitely a tribute to their work that has inspired myself and many of us here. Thank you all for the support, and I look forward to Thursday. The "unofficial" awards party for my projects is at World Of Discovery, but don't think Disneyland Park and Hollywood Studios are not prepping 😉
May 27, 20241 yr I love how detailed the fronts of your Main Street shops are! I notice that there aren't any smallish trees along your Main Street. Was this a conscious decision on your part? I can see how it would be a toss-up: On the one hand, trees always look nice. On the other hand, they tend to block the view of all the work you put in. The real Disney parks have that same conundrum as their trees get too large.
May 27, 20241 yr Author I might test some out. The old Main Street had maybe one or two. I have the same dilemma, I can also use crowd control as an excuse 🤔.
May 28, 20241 yr Lovin' the main street so far, great work! It's also really funny to see Mission Space looming in the background behind the castle, haha 😅 Congrats on the nominations again and good luck on Thursday night! there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Would you be shocked that I used to put Mission Space in old versions of my Disney kingdom parks when I was a kid? Now I just have a much larger and better building. Thank you! You too!
June 30, 20241 yr Author Celebrating 7 years of the place where dreams become a reality! Guests were let in today for the first time in forever to see what Walt Disney Imagineering is cooking up for the latest iteration of the park. Many popular attractions are still under development, but the magic is calling.
July 8, 20241 yr SEVEN YEARS!? Stop it Cody you're making me feel old Congrats on a huge milestone!! there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
August 10, 20241 yr Author Happy Saturday everyone! Today is a HUGE day as this is when we announce our new and upcoming additions to the parks. Both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios have announcements. To kick the day off we are starting at Disneyland Park. Walking into Disneyland Park, Halloween decorations have materialized at the main entrance. There are still things that are being put out, but super happy to have decorations out for the season. Even if they are from The Haunted Mansion. Of course the tombstones make an appearance. We currently do not have a version of The Haunted Mansion, but these still pay tribute to imagineers who made the magic we know today. To kick off the announcements, I am excited to announce that for the 20th anniversary of RCT3 on October 26, 2004 (the initial release date) we are having nightly projections on Cinderella Castle to celebrate. These will be similar to the projections seen at the Magic Kingdom during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. This anniversary will be huge on ParkCrafters and among the theme park gaming community as a whole, and I have many things planned across all projects. Now to the land of adventure. Adventureland has been under heavy development in creating state-of-the-art attractions unique to Disneyland Resort Dubai. I am happy to announce that Adventureland will begin its phased opening this winter. Step into different worlds with the inclusion of popular Disney movies. Africa will be home to The Festival Of The Lion King, a popular stage show that has entertained guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hong Kong Disneyland. Another classic Disney hit is Aladdin and we are bringing Agrabah to life. In previous iterations, we have had Agrabah in some form that connected to Fantasyland. Die-hard fans will know what I am talking about, but we are reworking the area to be more immersive and include different experiences that will be announced in the near future. Now adventure is out there and exploring new worlds requires some transportation, Soarin Around The World will make its debut in Dubai when we begin our phased opening of Adventureland. There are other worlds however and we are exploring them for the future, Imagineers are even becoming one with the Navi and will discuss their findings in a future announcement down the line as well as a team exploring the sea with Moana. There is one more area in Adventureland to discuss and that is India. Quite some time ago @FrancesCoaster developed a method of exploring temples and the jungle with Indiana Jones. The thing is we had to find a temple or something to even look for. We did stumble upon one along with Dr. Jones. The Eternal Temple. What you are seeing is Indiana Jones and the Eternal Temple. A thrilling attraction that will have many surprises once complete. This attraction will be a thrilling experience for families and will be a first of its kind for Disney Parks. We keep talking about the future during these announcements. Tomorrowland is all about the future and exploration. We have many plans for Tomorrowland and what we will be bringing real soon. Direct from Epcot will be Mission Space. In October 2024, you will be able to explore outer space in an out-of-this-world experience. One thing that will be unique for this version, however, is exploring more than just Mars and Earth. We will be implementing multiple storylines similar to the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction at many of our parks. A fun fact is during beginning Disney kingdom parks, Mission Space was always considered for Tomorrowland. @StickyGum32 and @wolfpaw were "harassed" years ago for some Epcot building materials and well.... we may have shipped the Mission Space boxes to Dubai as well as another park. But contrary to what is always said, mostly by @wolfpaw 😉, it blends really well with Tomorrowland and definitely envisions Walt's fascination with space travel. We also have the PeopleMover which is a popular attraction seen at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. That seems to be a common theme in Tomorrowland is traveling to new destinations. Whether it be space or even the grid. Months ago, @FrancesCoaster delivered something that had been on our wish list ever since Shanghai Disney Resort debuted Tron Lightcycle Power Run in 2016. Then it officially opened in 2023 at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Videos do not do it justice; it is a thrilling experience that I have been lucky to do quite a few times. Currently have two nighttime rides and it is an experience. I know I probably spammed @FrancesCoaster with pictures and videos of Tron showing off what Dubai and in general RCT3 could have and we both agreed it was something neat to see in-game. I am happy to announce that in 2025 we will be opening the third Tron Lightcycle Run here at Disneyland Resort Dubai. For a bit we have had the test seats and a general entrance, recently we moved it to accommodate for the future popularity and theming elements under development by @FrancesCoaster, he will get tired of all the credits one day 😆. Tron Lightcycle Run is now programming, and we will continue to share progress as we prepare Tomorrowland for the grid. There have been a few names mentioned in these announcements. That is because I have been lucky to have connected with members to make these massive projects. A year ago, I would not have thought to have some of the concepts become a reality and definitely did not think I would have an award-winning project (Identity Crisis Epcot). ParkCrafters has become a large community of collaboration and ideas. Much of which are based on the real world, much like my announcements today. I have a few more up my sleeve but will tease that Disneyland Park will be the unofficial RCT3 host of the ParkCrafters Awards in 2025. More details will be shared when that time comes, but I will say thank you for the continued support. I am happy to share a lot of my really old ideas that have only gotten bigger and bigger by the minute. Happy D23 parks day everyone!
August 14, 20241 yr Love all the updates, super excited for that Indiana Jones coaster! Getting crafty with how to approach the temple and having a pretty action-packed layout. The original concept was to be similar to Hagrid's, but has quickly developed into something unique. Next year is going to be big and the RCT3 anniversary is going to play a huge part of it. The tombstone is a tradition, we definitely need more merch of it in the real world....

January 1Jan 1 Author Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to share a brief update on the status of this project as it has gotten a little quiet. I am working on a park-wide refurbishment to accommodate my new system as well as fix some of the kinks that this project seemed to have. Some sets were removed to better handle all my projects and some of these were used in this project. Some areas needed redevelopment anyways and I am going to take the opportunity to get this park to a much higher standard. As usual, I have major attractions planned and intend to keep much of the existing plans for the park.
February 22Feb 22 Author "...and it all starts with a wish"Walt Disney Imagineering has been hard at work creating the new magic in this enhanced version of Disneyland Park. Cinderella Castle is getting its paintjob is very similar to that of the version found at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. This project turns 8 years old this year, starting in March of 2017 with an opening date of June 30, 2017. To better enhance this version of the project, an opening date is yet to be determined. I am very excited to share this new version of Disneyland Park and create even more magic! Edited February 22Feb 22 by Cody
