What country’s flag features the image of a red bear holding a shield that is decorated with a shipwreck scene?

C: 600

I did some quick visualization and came up with 18. So I'll say B: 21

oh wait! I included Alaska and Hawaii in that visualization. That puts my estimate at 16. So I'll cross out my first answer B: 21 and say A: 15

Ocean or gulf I think of salt water, so that leaves out the great lakes states, so I think the correct answer would be B: 21

Question 136 - The Universe

What was the first living creature to be sent into outer space?

A: Bacteria

B: Fruit Flies

C: A dog

D: A chimpanzee

Question 137 - The Universe

True or False

Every planet in the solar system can fit between the Earth and the Moon.

A: True
B: False

A dog went before a chimp I believe, but I think they were beat by B: Fruit Flies

I thought planets like Jupiter were huge compared to Earth, but the distance between Earth and the Moon is pretty big, so I'll make a guess and say A: True

I don't remember fruit flies being mentioned at the time, but I do remember the Russian dog, "Laika" being sent into space. So, C: A dog.

My thoughts on the planets vis à vis Earth and the Moon are similar to Wagi's. At first I thought "No Way!". But after thinking about the distances between Earth and Moon (~240,000 miles)... that's almost a quarter of a million! So I'll glance over at Wagi's worksheet and copy what he said, A: True
