Correct answer for Question 93: Business

Where won’t you find any Taco Bells?

A: Mexico

Taco Bell serves Mexican-inspired cuisine, but you won’t find any locations south of the border — but not for lack of trying. The first Taco Bell in Mexico opened in Mexico City in 1992, but local customers quickly deemed the menu items confusing because they were so different from their authentic counterparts. The brand left the country two years later and had another failed attempt in Mexico in 2007.

Question 95: Misc.

Like casinos, shopping malls (even those of the past) were/are intentionally designed to disorient visitors. The feeling of losing track of time and geography inside a mall is called what?

A: Time Blindness

B: Directional Diversion

C: The Gruen Transfer

D: Jones Weather Effect

We actually have Taco Bell here in parts of Brazil, where some think it's authentic Mexican food. And it's different even from what they have in the States.

Question 95: Misc. I only know this because I was a manager of multiple mall stores and heard it referred to by several names, but C: The Gruen Transfer was one of them.

^ You should have said "spoiler alert"! classic_tongue

I was gonna say B: Directional Diversion. And I guess I'll stick to that, but Wagi seems to know of which he speaks this time.

Triple 20 as mentioned

A: St. Louis

The Olympics took place during the World's Fair of 1904. That Worlds Fair also introduced ice cream cones and iced tea, and popularized cotton candy (fairy floss), puffed rice cereal, and peanut butter. Some claim it also introduced the hot dog bun, as prior to that, hot dogs were served with a fork and eaten like a sausage.

No cardboard dishes back then, and ice cream was served in glass bowls which were supposed to be returned and washed, but too many people kept the bowls and plates as souvenirs. A pizzelle maker was located near one of the ice cream vendors (his pizzelles weren't selling, and the ice cream vendor had no bowls!). He started making pizzelles and while they were still pliable, shaped them into a cone shape that the ice cream guy could scoop into. They split profits 50/50. The legend has it that both men became millionaires by the time the fair closed.

I love that story!

Question 100: Food

Until the late 1970s, pistachios were dyed red…why?

A: To hide the discolorations on the shells
B: Protect consumers skin from toxic oils on the shells
C: The first company to distribute the nuts widely was named ‘Red Hand Packing Company’
D: This was an ancient tradition passed down from Pakistan

Hmm, no idea. I'm against D: the ancient tradition because as I recall from history classes (Not actually being there as Wagi will assert!), red dye (cinnabar) was expensive, so I don't think they would waste it on nuts. I like the company name, but sounds not quite like a real thing, I don't think a dye would protect you from oils, so I'm going to go with A: To hide the discolorations on the shells. I seem to remember something about the shells being damaged or get nasty during shipping, and since most pistachios are now grown here in the USA, perhaps they aren't handled as much? Total guess here.
