Hey it's Oak!

Hey everyone, my name is Oak! I'm a civil engineering student, and I'd like to introduce myself!

For starters, I'm just a dude from New England who loves theme parks, and started posting my parks online. I found several discord servers full of like-minded and wonderfully supportive people, and I haven't stopped posting since. I am a big Disney Parks and Universal fan, and (oh jeeze) over a year ago now I started a small dark ride in Planet Coaster 2. It grew and grew and soon became a little land called "Aqualand".

The park has now blossomed into a whole Disney-esque theme park! The park has taken me a very long time, but I'm including backstages, hotels, roads, realistic-ish show buildings. It's not 100% realistic, it's probable. Maybe. I mean probably? I've had help from many talented people in the Planco Community, Miss Barbare, Dutchie, Mineral, and Nitro230 to name a few!

I love starting new projects when I feel inspired, and I've started quite a few over the months!

  • Aloha Isle Water Park (Inspired by Volcano Bay)

  • A winter themed indoor/outdoor coaster

  • EPNOT Park, which totally isn't just a rip off of EPCOT, nope, because this is EPnot.

  • A smaller theme park called "Dreamland"

I'm very excited to be here, and I can't wait to see what what everyone is creating!

Hey dude!

Glad to see you here. We're a small, but close knit community which I consider my home base for all my projects. Look forward to seeing more of your work. I'd really love to see you develop Epnot. Is that an old project or something new?

EPNOT is a hella old project. Well, I say hella old, but it's from last November? I haven't touched it really, or thought about it in a while. It got very big, and very "oh wow... okay, not sure how I'll finish this, so I'll just put it away for now" haha so I never made a thread/post for it, or a video because it's been a little side project. But I'm excited to share more and work on it again!

I've added some new screenshots if you want to take a closer look! The map is full of a lot of prototyping, so please don't mind the mess!

I can understand your trepidation to work on this as it truly is a monumental project. (It's how I feel about my Worlds of Wonder Resort, knowing fully well that I will never finish it.) But I certainly hope you get inspired to continue, as what you've done so far looks fabulous.

Looks really great! I hope you do continue to work on EPNOT. I'm very curious about the Pavilion of Illusion. Regardless of what project(s) you do decide to work on, I'm sure it will be exciting and a pleasure to see. The Sea Institute Dark Ride looks wonderful!

Welcome to ParkCrafters! Your work is already outstanding and as a big Epcot fan myself, I'm excited to see your Epnot expand as well... love the idea! 🤣

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Welcome! Love Epnot!

Aww thanks so much for the warm welcome! Seems I gotta resurrect EPNOT now, huh? Haha! I will get on that soon! I might condense it, maybe a whole new map. It was a big project, and I've grown a lot as a builder + new updates, so I know I can make it better!
