Almost like the Gringotts dragon from that project down the road but this time it is The Hollywood Tower Hotel. The Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right; a beacon for the show business elite.

Recently, alerts to those living in the area were sent out for potential fireworks tests for one of the parks in the Disneyland Resort Dubai property. Disney's Hollywood Studios has been the topic of many rumors for special events occurring soon, possibly a buyout event or party? Surely more details will be made public soon 😉.Movie0002.mp4

May 7, 20251 yr Author I have news for this project to be revealed soon. I do take a lot of pride in seeing the real-world almost meshing with our RCT3 world. Discord peeps have seen the rework of Hollywood Studios quickly picking up the pace, and I hope to get a bit done to align with celebrations.

October 12, 2025Oct 12 Author Wow this project has been quiet. So, I did a check on if the old park file would open and work. Well, that test was a success. I started a new park file that did not get too far, so I may end up just continuing the old park file and keep the rework to the side and see how much I can really do with it. The rework was very similar to the new park file, but some sections I could not remember how I handled them in the old file. Expect more updates!
October 16, 2025Oct 16 Author Tomorrow will be the one-year anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios official opening. This project is a fun one that is currently getting love to continue being a part of my project list. I am happy to share the following update on the park with the old park file being cooperative (for the time being).The entrance remains the same outside of the park. This park file has my favorite entrance for any of my Disney Studio park projects (the other file was similar just a bit bigger). Plus, the billboards help add a bit of detail to the park.Currently, the park is in redevelopment of some guest areas. The area inspired by Hollywood Boulevard is one of them. Buildings are being pushed inwards one tile to make the main street a bit slimmer. With this, recent strategies in handling the path covers are being used with extra attention to details.Some curbs are being eliminated in favor of being closer to the real-world area. Benches and trash cans are slowly going to be added along with more palm trees.Here is a look at the one tile difference between the original and the new placement. I am doing this in sections as some buildings are piece-by-piece creations, and it is easier to move the custom scenery buildings and adjust the paths around those.Untouched will be the Carthay Circle Theater and The Hollywood Tower Hotel (naturally 😉). Surrounding areas will see improvements.Currently guests are flocking to One Man's Dream, a small stage show at the front of the park.A fun shot, yes there are in-game paths, but with recent news both the arch and Earffel Tower will be forgotten park symbols of the real Hollywood Studios.Soon the streets will be a bit slimmer. With that comes more room for growth and improvements to the overall park. It is a little painful to do these refurbishments, but it opens up ideas and methods of making those concepts real. I am excited to see the final product of the slimmer streets.Rock 'N Roller Coaster will retain its Aerosmith theme here in Dubai. I am looking into plans for a Muppet themed area reminiscent of the area that was in Florida. I have an idea for it, and it will potentially be me trying my hand at a new skill set.A classic shot to end the update.The future of Disney's Hollywood Studios is many blue-sky concepts to determine best methods of incorporating different IPs. One wish list item/attraction is under development and has been shared on a YouTube channel that is known for its custom attractions. The Great Movie Ride will make its way to Disney's Hollywood Studios at some point in the future, fingers crossed. From this, I expect more of the park to take shape around the Chinese Theater and potentially improve existing areas even more for this incorporation. The Chinese Theater has always been an item on my wish list and there have been teasers for years that have gone quiet. Any news is good news!I am looking into multiple IPs found at the different Disney studio-based parks. I am also looking at past attractions, some that are missed by many guests in the real world. Regardless, this park is a shining star in a nearly 21-year-old game.
March 17Mar 17 Author Hollywood here we come!It has been a while since I have posted anything related to this project. Between life and trips and other refurbishments in RCT3, it has been a busy time! Disney's Hollywood Studios is also in the middle of a massive overhaul that I am excited to share progress on as well as two massive additions to the park in the near future.Since the last update, many construction walls have been taken down to reveal reworked sections of the main entrance area. Some buildings are being reworked on the left side of the street to further align with the real Hollywood Studios in Florida.The right side of the street is complete. Changes included adding trash cans, foliage, lighting, and benches. The color of the curbs are similar to those found at the real Hollywood Studios. I used Google Street View and reference images to get things as close as possible in this over 20-year-old game.Trolley Car Cafe is still in the works to be a quick service offering for guests. Starbucks is in its own building unlike the real-world theme park. The left side of the street is getting the overhaul love. Buildings have changed and adding details is the primary focus.The building pictured above was once home to a small theater show, it will soon be more gift shops to parallel the real Hollywood Studios. The show will be elsewhere in the RCT3 park.During my recent "research" trip, I had two days at Disney's Hollywood Studios with one being a day with some of our ParkCrafters family. We discussed variations and how the creations we make differ sometimes for the better. Carthay Circle Theater was an example brought up and some of the creative freedom in the game was discussed.As far as big additions, 2026 will see the addition of Disney's Paint The Night Parade created by @C O N S T E L L A T I O N as well as The Great Movie Ride created by @Theme Park Recreations . Paint The Night is a major achievement in the RCT3 world and will be the second parade added to Disneyland Resort Dubai. Another parade is in the works and already has an assigned park 😉. I was lucky enough to get frequent updates that only built the excitement for the bright addition. The parade did have a play test and delivery celebration after hours at Disneyland Park.The Great Movie Ride will bring the RCT3 park a classic attraction as well as an icon. Preview videos on YouTube of The Great Movie ride already show it filling the gap this park has always had in terms of attractions and filling space behind the sorcerer's hat. From the preview videos, this is a very detailed attraction much like other creations.
