Loving the details, but why does the Jeep in the lower right corner look like it's tilted backwards?

I can kinda tell it's a set piece. :^Þ

What's odd is that the rear tires appear to be half sunk in the ground. Any reason for that or is it just artistic license?

Not a big deal either way, your park is AMAZING, just feminine curiosity. ;^)

Very nice.

I hate the way the jeeps slow down when ascending an incline and speed up when going down, like it's a gravity based ride. This is something I discovered when starting to create a similar ride and had to change the track layout because the jeeps couldn't make it up a hill.

Anyway, nice job on this. I'll bet you're happy to finally have gotten this finished.

The jeep going through those rock formations near the beginning look a lot like the jeep ride in your Utah video. Loved the water buffalo(?). He knew exactly what he was doing. classic_tongue

yep - that gravity thing is so weird.

The landscape takes on extra beauty at night. I liked all the different angles you showed us by using a 'hand-held' camera.

THX - I do like they way this view comes out, but holding the mouse button for the entire recording while zipping the view around....cramp city on my hand.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. Maybe tie a big, heavy rock to your mousing finger so you don't have to exert any pressure of your own. classic_tongue

Time to move onto a new section of the Zoo. Something I'm calling Pinniped Point. In the real zoo there is an area like this in this same general area of the zoo (not even sure if it has the same name, but it might). I always liked the look and feel of the Pacific NW in this area, but it was always very small...so like everything else I'm doing in this zoo...I'm going bigger and better.

In real life this area is more of a small square set up, but I ran out of room along the border of the zoo (you can see the dashes), so I decided to make this more of an elongated shape along this narrow corner of the zoo (in game).

This area will have a couple seal species and several penguins.

Here is the general layout of the paths (which do change as I progress along). There will be a few underwater viewing areas as well.

Hope you end up liking what I did for Pinniped Point.

Here is the planned layout.

The white area will hold a couple breeds of penguins.

Yellow is more penguins.

Red will be harbor seals.

Green is sea lions.
