Planet Coaster 2 Announced - Coming November 6th, 2024
Yeah, honestly, I don't see the attraction of having parades in the parks. OK, visually, it would be pretty cool, but all the peeps would have to congregate in one area, while not blocking the parade route, stand around for a while until the parade passes by, and then bolt off to the rides and attractions. I really don't see the appeal. And it seems to be a huge time waster. When PC1 came out, I remember a very vocal minority kept yelling about opening and closing the park. In large parks, it can take upwards of 30 minutes to actually close down and have all the peeps leave. Filling the park back up is quicker, but what's the point? Just a lot more wasted time, IMHO. And if it's set up to to just have the peeps disappear instantly, it just seems ridiculous. I thought the whole idea was to have the park emptying experience, not waving a magic wand and poof! Read some of the comments over on the official website and just laughed to myself. Does anyone actually read the stuff Frontier posted? Frontier already, even in their limited information posted, spelled out a lot of the things that people are asking questions about. Very irritating! (Sorry, having a soap box moment!) 😆

Sticky's Secret Park
Really like your brick entrance area! Just a suggestion, as Wagi mentioned adding eaves, you might consider employing the alternate color on the bricks. Making that other color dark grey can really break up those large expanses of brick. Love Lumber Pile!

Reactions are underutilized
Never really thought about reactions that much. I usually leave a reaction if I like what I saw but have nothing to say, and comment if I want to say something, but then when I comment, don't usually leave a reaction, if that makes sense. Granted, it only takes a second, but it seems like "double work" and not really necessary. Of course, I like to see if my posts get a reaction or a comment, but that's just human nature! My opinion, of course!

The Wonderful World of OZ
We actually have had a lot of issues with the YBR! Wagi made a ton of nice brick pieces, but as he pointed out, it's nearly impossible to place correctly if there is even the slightest rise or fall in the path! It can prove very frustrating. The Emerald City will premiere soon, don't worry!

The Wonderful World of OZ
I like lime slices! Especially in cocktails! I built those with what I had available when I first started Munchkinland. I kept my fingers crossed that Wagi would say "Hey! Those lily pads look terrible! Why don't I whip up a good looking one for you?" Alas, it was not to be! 🤣 Wagi, as usual, did a fantastic job of plussing this area up. He has a wonderful eye for detail!

The Dead & Lost Projects Thread (Any Game)
Love the idea of the TV Land park, especially Mayberry Main Street/Town Square, and a Munsters area. (Have to add the Addams Family to that!!!) Maybe if Wagi and I ever finish World of OZ! 🤣 My old RCT3 State Fair and our newer Disney's America Circus pretty much covered the Circus/Big Top thing, and my Seven Wonders covered the mythological gods! Also started a Holiday World park eons ago, just proved too difficult without a lot of CSS. Keep those ideas coming! Love them!

The Dead & Lost Projects Thread (Any Game)
If you download bench one of Disney's America, our 1849 area was a blatant rip-off of that lance cardinal park! We had the rocks you walked through, the panning for gold, a mine ride, a log flume, etc. Personally, I haven't got any Forgotten parks, but I do have several that are "forgotten"! Worked on frantically for months, ignored for months or years, then worked on for a bit again, and then the cycle repeats itself!!! 🤣 One is a homage to Palisades Amusement Park. Anyone who grew up in NY/NJ knows the jingle. Great little park, overlooking Manhattan. Now a co-op development. Very 1960's "mod" looking place! The free stage; Another park I have started a number of times but never got far on is Pleasure Island outside of Boston. Nautical themed, they actually had an encounter with Moby Dick, the whale ride! The Moby Dick ride in real life; Both of these parks await the light of day on my hard drive!

Project of the Year Winner - ParkCrafters Awards 2024
The bulk of the praise does have to go to Wagi here. I may be more of the "idea man", but he is a magnificent builder and an unstoppable CS making machine! It is both an honor and a pleasure to have won, to get the opportunity to work with Wagi, and having looked over the nominees, a bit of a shock as well! Thank you!

The Wonderful World of OZ
Sure! Here's a shot of the parking lot, the entrance area, the start of Main Street, and over to the left is one of the backstage areas with storage, catering, and cold storage; Another shot of Main Street and the backstage area; To the west of Main Street is Professor Marvel's Land with the backstage area in the lower left, and Main Street lower right; The Gale Farm is east of Main Street. You can see the Gulch House in the lower left, and parts of Main Street lower right. The rainbow bridge is also visible in this shot. Over the bridge is Munchkinland, but we don't want to give that much away yet! Hope that helps!

The Wonderful World of OZ
Thanks for all the nice comments, guys! There are several ways to enter the OZ sections of the park. We already showed you that you can ride the Twister ride and exit through a rainbow into Dorothy's House, which has managed to fall on the Wicked Witch of the East; There is also a seemingly innocent looking path that cuts through from Professor Marvel's land. That's also where the "Balloon Ride" can be picked up to take you straight to the Emerald City. Are those poppies? At the edge of the carnival area, there is an ominous looking gate that someone broke off the padlock from. I wonder what's down there? Man, this place is a nightmare. The E.P.A. is probably going hog wild over this place! I've never seen so much industrial waste; That's a weird rock formation. Maybe we can get a better look; There is even an old abandoned train here; Wow! An creepy abandoned factory; Holy Cow! I knew it had to be something sinister;

Thanks guys! You enter the Gale House through the front hall. Dorothy has quite a nice family! Out the back door, you enter the yard of the Gale family; Definitely a storm coming up. Looks like we lost a chicken! "What's that out the window, Toto?" "I have a feeling we're not in Kansas any more..."
