The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
I really struggled with the Rhodes part of teh park, and I built and demolished it at least a dozen times! It just kept looking too much like Greece or Epheus. Finally thought about the fact that the Colossus only stood for about 60 years before toppling in an earthquake, and wham! I had it! Rhodes would be devastated by an earthquake! Upon entering Rhodes from Egypt, you come upon the family friendly ride "Earthquake" (original, I know)! The big attraction in this small area of the park is of course the coaster "Colossus"; The big man himself is leaning pretty badly and may just fall over as you walk under it! Greece is up next!

Glass - How Much is Too Much?
Can't help you with your question, but I like your take on the hotel. I believe it was Fisherman who said the game maxes out at about 200,000 pieces. On my fairly decent machine, I start to struggle at about 160,000. Takes up to a 20 minutes to load a park, and then crawls. Forget about peeps! I try to avoid billboards, but sometimes just can't, but haven't heard much about the glass itself being a problem. I think it's more just a total piece count thing. Of course, I'm probably totally wrong, and I just have a lame machine!!! 🤣

Thank you all for the very kind comments! Our tour continues! Moving further along Main Street, we pass the department store; A Cigar Store and City Hall; A Hat Shoppe and Haberdashery; A quant little cafe; Hardware store; Even a Barber Shop; Hey, how clever! Most of the business' along Main Street are named from the people involved in the MGM classic Movie! At the top of MainStreet is the home of Miss Gulch. Doesn't look like she takes good care of her property; Next up, we take a look at the Gale farm!

Planet Coaster 2
No way. If they employ the new Cobra engine (which they have to), it won't be compatible. The show is in Germany, can't think of the name either, but it ends tomorrow, so if they are going to announce, it would be then.

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
Thank you for the kind words Cody! Have to admit, I fudged a bit on the Egypt area, and utilized quite a few blueprints from the workshop. Some I completely overhauled, some I used pretty much as is. Welcome to Egypt, home of the great pyramids and the Pharos of Alexandria! The Pharos was a workshop blueprint, but I reworked it quite a bit and put a freefall ride inside; A small outdoor cafe; The Flight of Horus; Another workshop ride with a greatly reduced Pyramid behind it. I placed two small pyramids using forced perspective. From the right angles, they look great! Next stop, Rhodes!

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
Ephesus (modern day Turkey) was the home to two of the famous wonders, the Temple of Artemis and the Mausoleum of Hallicarnasus; The big attraction here the Huntress, an immensely fun coaster! The Sundial is a thinly disguised Monte Leone spin and puke; While the Militae Exercitus is a reworked Whip ride from the workshop; Next up; Here's the link to the game file. You will have to download quite a bit of CS. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3022900321&searchtext=7+wonders

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
Always wondered that myself. Seven shows up a lot in the ancient world! Probably goes back to the Bible and the seven days of creation. I remember seeing that. Which ride? 🤣 I found the problem! A Roman floor tile piece I created with that program that I made the DA hanger walls with. It created some wonky pieces, but they work! I'll post the link as soon as it's approved, or you can search up 7 wonders.

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
Thanks Gin! Unfortunately, I've run into a snag and am unable to upload the park to the workshop until I can figure it out. So here's a few more pictures of the place; Welcome to Babylon; The Kraken is off to the left. I know, Norse mythology, but needed some excuse to use the Octopus ride! Tiamat's Terror is built over the lagoon. Tiamat was the goddess of the primordial sea; Marduk's Mania is a flying carpet ride! (I know, a thousand years too early, but you try building a Babylon park without a flying carpet!!!) Marduk was the king of the Babylonian pantheon, similar to Zeus in Greece or Jupiter in Rome; Anzu was a mythological bird that could breathe fire and water (I assume not both at the same time!). Hence, Anzu's Revenge; The Ishtar Gate was listed in original texts by the ancient Greeks as one of the seven wonders until the Pharos of Alexandria was built, then the gate was tossed aside in favor of a lighthouse! But here it stands in all it's glory! It was said it was the tallest building in the world except for the pyramids. It was built before the Tower of Babel. Next up, Ephesus!

Uploading Park File to Workshop
I was trying to upload a park file to the workshop and I get an error message "This park relies on local workshop items and can't be uploaded to the workshop". I made two pieces of scenery for the park, and they have been uploaded, so I'm unsure of what is wrong. Is there any quick way to figure out what "local" pieces they are refering to? I seem to remember running into this before, but don't recall how to solve it. Any assistance woud be great. Thanks!

Disney's America Park - The one and only, really truly Bench Four...and The End
When I built Ichabod's ride for the Sleepy Hollow section of this park, I had the story in mind, and built four or five rooms, each with a different story to tell and made a rough drawing of the track layout. Then I laid out the entire track, and built the scenery along the way. I also used a number of billboards which gave me a fantastic sense of depth in just a tile or two.

The Wonderful World of OZ
Thanks everyone! Heading through the Art DEco entranceway (a homage to the movie), we enter Main Street Kansas, a bucolic picture of small town America, similar to that other place! I guess we are in Kansas! A Gulch building. Noticed there were several of them around the square. What a quant little food court; The town square band stand has live entertainment throughout the day. Love the sound of those old-fashioned barbershop quartets! They even have a Baum Museum. Have to check it out when we have time.

Thank goodness we didn't need to take the parking lot tram. Pretty station though. Ticket booths. We got our tickets online, so no wait there! What a grand entryway! I can just glimpse the park through that arch. I'm so excited! Looking back at the entrance plaza. I think this going to be a great day!

The Wonderful World of OZ
Welcome to the Wonderful World of OZ! I think we're in the right place! Time to pull into the parking lot. Only $5.00 parking! What a bargain! Wow! That's a lot of tour buses! Hope it's not too crowded! Maybe we'll park in the parking deck instead of the lot. What an interesting sculpture. The characters look like Baum's originals rather than from the 1939 classic! Ticket booths up ahead! Stay tuned!

The Wonderful World of OZ
Kablary, I remember reading that they were going to build on the Sunflower Ammo Proving Grounds, or something like that. One of the big initial headaches was going to be searching for buried or unexploded ordinance. Imagine the headlines, "Tin Man Blown Up by WWI ordinance!" Not the kind of publicity they wanted, I'm sure! 🤣
