  1. On the opposite side of Baum Alley sits the City Hall; Rumor has it that Almira Gulch is petitioning yet again to change the town name to Gulchville. Tucked away in a corner is the Candy Emporium;
  2. Another streetcar is being inspected prior to entering the park proper; Horses will be horses! Behind First Street is the storage area for street sweepers, mowers, trash removal, and a cherry picker for changing light bulbs;
  3. Continuing down First Street, there's McKenzie's Music and Kansas Travel Agency; Kansas Sporting Goods, and the world renowned Gulch Gazette; Today's edition; At the corner is a small Toy Shoppe, and the alleyway that leads to the horse barn. Thank goodness that's set downwind!
  4. Yes, he's back! (Me, of course!) Truth be told, my mother had a bad fall around Halloween, shattered her femur, and I have had to take time off from both work (no loss there) and my personal life to become primary caregiver. My wife wondered who the strange guy coming into the house every few weeks for a night and then disappearing was. I even bought a beautiful laptop to take with me so I could putter around in my free time. Never even turned it on! She's OK now, and my brother and I finally convinced her to move near the two of us, she lived five hours-three states away, and she is settled in nicely. Stubborn 90 something year old woman! Her grandmother lived to be 104, and she intends to beat her record! Told her she'll probably outlive me!!! 😆 Anyway, enough personal drama. As Wagi mentioned, I "finished" Main Street, so of course he added about 20,000 bits and pieces! Looks pretty good though! And he wasn't kidding about 400 new CS pieces, as you'll see!

    Been looking forward to seeing this ride sincce you first mentioned it!
  6. Looking really nice so far! One humble suggestion, you need way more palm trees!!! 😃
  7. Well, that's a few years of our lives we'll never be able to reclaim!!! Seriously, as always, it's a sheer delight working with Bob on projects. We have a great rapport, and I believe our two very different styles compliment each other well. And we both like the same sort of parks! Hopefully, you can continue to be fascinated, awed, and inspired 🤣 by our Wonderful World of OZ park, which will be consuming our lives for probably the next year or so! Wagi has already opened the floodgates on his CS making machine, and we are hard at work (well, he is anyway! There's a couch somewhere calling my name!) on the first section, bench , or park file that is already topping 200K pieces and ain't done yet! Maybe we'll finish this park just in time for PC2 and can then start all over again!!! 😉 Stayed tuned, same bat time, same bat channel!
  8. The most amazing thing about that area is how tiny it actually is. Wagi had the idea, and shoehorned it into a tiny corner of the bench. Really wondeful work!

    Love the monorail station! I was going to mention you might want to add a roof, then I finally noticed the glass! Old eyes, I guess! 🤣 THe skyway is very nicely themed!

    I looked for that charred building to no avail. Do you happen to recall what it is called on the workshop?
  11. You can use the time thingy to make dark rides go dark, but only in ridecam. Would love live shows or stadium/stage attactions. And weather!!!
  12. I really struggled with the Rhodes part of teh park, and I built and demolished it at least a dozen times! It just kept looking too much like Greece or Epheus. Finally thought about the fact that the Colossus only stood for about 60 years before toppling in an earthquake, and wham! I had it! Rhodes would be devastated by an earthquake! Upon entering Rhodes from Egypt, you come upon the family friendly ride "Earthquake" (original, I know)! The big attraction in this small area of the park is of course the coaster "Colossus"; The big man himself is leaning pretty badly and may just fall over as you walk under it! Greece is up next!
  13. Can't help you with your question, but I like your take on the hotel. I believe it was Fisherman who said the game maxes out at about 200,000 pieces. On my fairly decent machine, I start to struggle at about 160,000. Takes up to a 20 minutes to load a park, and then crawls. Forget about peeps! I try to avoid billboards, but sometimes just can't, but haven't heard much about the glass itself being a problem. I think it's more just a total piece count thing. Of course, I'm probably totally wrong, and I just have a lame machine!!! 🤣
  14. No, it's original, but I was inspired by the Psycho house.
  15. Thank you all for the very kind comments! Our tour continues! Moving further along Main Street, we pass the department store; A Cigar Store and City Hall; A Hat Shoppe and Haberdashery; A quant little cafe; Hardware store; Even a Barber Shop; Hey, how clever! Most of the business' along Main Street are named from the people involved in the MGM classic Movie! At the top of MainStreet is the home of Miss Gulch. Doesn't look like she takes good care of her property; Next up, we take a look at the Gale farm!
  16. Thanks wowman! You are totally correct, JB! The sheer amount of detail upon detail Wagi manages to squeeze into a small area is just incredible! I always start to sweat when he says "Can I just have the bench back for a little while? I have a couple ideas!" 😆
  17. You would think she would be a little more "in the know" than the rest of us!!! BUt I guess she really doesn't know any more than the rank and file! 🤣
  18. No way. If they employ the new Cobra engine (which they have to), it won't be compatible. The show is in Germany, can't think of the name either, but it ends tomorrow, so if they are going to announce, it would be then.
  19. To the best of my knowledge, there are only three graphics needed for the park. Here they are;
  20. Thank you for the kind words Cody! Have to admit, I fudged a bit on the Egypt area, and utilized quite a few blueprints from the workshop. Some I completely overhauled, some I used pretty much as is. Welcome to Egypt, home of the great pyramids and the Pharos of Alexandria! The Pharos was a workshop blueprint, but I reworked it quite a bit and put a freefall ride inside; A small outdoor cafe; The Flight of Horus; Another workshop ride with a greatly reduced Pyramid behind it. I placed two small pyramids using forced perspective. From the right angles, they look great! Next stop, Rhodes!
  21. Ephesus (modern day Turkey) was the home to two of the famous wonders, the Temple of Artemis and the Mausoleum of Hallicarnasus; The big attraction here the Huntress, an immensely fun coaster! The Sundial is a thinly disguised Monte Leone spin and puke; While the Militae Exercitus is a reworked Whip ride from the workshop; Next up; Here's the link to the game file. You will have to download quite a bit of CS. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3022900321&searchtext=7+wonders
  22. Always wondered that myself. Seven shows up a lot in the ancient world! Probably goes back to the Bible and the seven days of creation. I remember seeing that. Which ride? 🤣 I found the problem! A Roman floor tile piece I created with that program that I made the DA hanger walls with. It created some wonky pieces, but they work! I'll post the link as soon as it's approved, or you can search up 7 wonders.

    Beautifully realized faux ride. Well done!
  24. Simply stunning!
  25. Thanks Gin! Unfortunately, I've run into a snag and am unable to upload the park to the workshop until I can figure it out. So here's a few more pictures of the place; Welcome to Babylon; The Kraken is off to the left. I know, Norse mythology, but needed some excuse to use the Octopus ride! Tiamat's Terror is built over the lagoon. Tiamat was the goddess of the primordial sea; Marduk's Mania is a flying carpet ride! (I know, a thousand years too early, but you try building a Babylon park without a flying carpet!!!) Marduk was the king of the Babylonian pantheon, similar to Zeus in Greece or Jupiter in Rome; Anzu was a mythological bird that could breathe fire and water (I assume not both at the same time!). Hence, Anzu's Revenge; The Ishtar Gate was listed in original texts by the ancient Greeks as one of the seven wonders until the Pharos of Alexandria was built, then the gate was tossed aside in favor of a lighthouse! But here it stands in all it's glory! It was said it was the tallest building in the world except for the pyramids. It was built before the Tower of Babel. Next up, Ephesus!
