  1. Sorry, yes, planet coaster. Thanks anyway Wowman.
  2. I was trying to upload a park file to the workshop and I get an error message "This park relies on local workshop items and can't be uploaded to the workshop". I made two pieces of scenery for the park, and they have been uploaded, so I'm unsure of what is wrong. Is there any quick way to figure out what "local" pieces they are refering to? I seem to remember running into this before, but don't recall how to solve it. Any assistance woud be great. Thanks!
  3. When I built Ichabod's ride for the Sleepy Hollow section of this park, I had the story in mind, and built four or five rooms, each with a different story to tell and made a rough drawing of the track layout. Then I laid out the entire track, and built the scenery along the way. I also used a number of billboards which gave me a fantastic sense of depth in just a tile or two.
  4. Oh, you'll see more Gulch, don't worry!

    Fire, water, and electric cables! Oh my! There's a real disaster waiting to happen!
  6. Don't know how you even get your computer to run this beast!!! Beautiful work as always!
  7. Thanks everyone! Heading through the Art DEco entranceway (a homage to the movie), we enter Main Street Kansas, a bucolic picture of small town America, similar to that other place! I guess we are in Kansas! A Gulch building. Noticed there were several of them around the square. What a quant little food court; The town square band stand has live entertainment throughout the day. Love the sound of those old-fashioned barbershop quartets! They even have a Baum Museum. Have to check it out when we have time.
  8. This looks great! You have a real flair for combining billboards with scenery. Neverland from the air looks like the real ride! Nice to see one of my circus wagons being used. Never thought of Stromboli!
  9. Thank goodness we didn't need to take the parking lot tram. Pretty station though. Ticket booths. We got our tickets online, so no wait there! What a grand entryway! I can just glimpse the park through that arch. I'm so excited! Looking back at the entrance plaza. I think this going to be a great day!
  10. Welcome to the Wonderful World of OZ! I think we're in the right place! Time to pull into the parking lot. Only $5.00 parking! What a bargain! Wow! That's a lot of tour buses! Hope it's not too crowded! Maybe we'll park in the parking deck instead of the lot. What an interesting sculpture. The characters look like Baum's originals rather than from the 1939 classic! Ticket booths up ahead! Stay tuned!
  11. Kablary, I remember reading that they were going to build on the Sunflower Ammo Proving Grounds, or something like that. One of the big initial headaches was going to be searching for buried or unexploded ordinance. Imagine the headlines, "Tin Man Blown Up by WWI ordinance!" Not the kind of publicity they wanted, I'm sure! 🤣
  12. As some of you know, before we started work on Disney's America, Wagi and I had worked together on another project that sparked our interest, the proposed Wonderful World of OZ park that was going to be built by the Goddard Group in where else? North Dakota! No, in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City. As with many other parks, this one never got past the planning stages due to political shortsitedness, and the park was scrapped. But did that stop us? Hell no! Here's a couple of concept drawings for the park; Wagi already posted these teasers; I'll start tour pictures over the next few days!
  13. Wagi and I were jokingly commenting the other day if these guys were following our Disney's America thread over the last few years. Really strange parellels to our park. Liberty Town, World's Fair, Swamp bayou adventure, timber falls (our 1849 log flume), etc. Very weird coincidences!!! 🤣
  14. Wagi did an unbelievable job on both the Emerald City and the Haunted Forest! I'll start a new thread soon detailing the entire park! BUt as he mentioned, it ain't finished yet! Thank goodness we work together as quick as jackrabbits!
  15. So glad we have finally been able to finish up these benches. Between my procrastination and naps and Wagi's "just one more thing to add!", this has been a real labor of love and has been a heck of a lot of fun as well! We hope you guys enjoy exploring all these benches and we both look forward to bringing you some more fun stuff in the next decade or two!
  16. Thanks for the great comments guys! This bench was always one of my favorites! Wagi took my little industrial town and really pumped up the volume (and the piece count!) on this one! He has a wonderful knack for squeezing every square inch out of the game and is a master of detail. Edison versus Tesla was originally planned as duelling coasters, but we couldn't find any that really fit the bill, (neither one of us are that great at coaster building)so we just employed a couple of Weisshorn flats, a Himalaya type ride. One runs forward, and the other reverse. The peeps seem to prefer Tesla, BTW! The American Experience is just another flat ride, no real interior to speak of. We tend to shy away from interiors unless there is a real need. It just adds to the piece count!!! If and when Frontier ever releases PC2, I would love show buildings where you can set the duration, the excitement, etc. with sliders, maybe even the capacity and set it all in just a big box so you can make these beautiful facades and have all kinds of different shows. Of course, a real outdoor show like a stunt show would be great as well. Ah, well...
  17. Maybe they bus in the animals from Florida and the safari ride down there! 🤣
  18. A few of the circus from the "cheap seats"! Here's a little "behind the scenes" area for the animals used in the circus; And an overview of the entire bench;
  19. Thank you all for your wonderful comments. Wagi and I have worked really hard on this, well he has anyway, and it's nice to finally be able to release all these benches! Here's the entrance to the Big Top, not quite ready to open yet. The first show is at 11:00! The elephaants are practicing a new trick; Back along the Midway, Clown Alley is a thinly diguised Zipper ride! Old timey version!
  20. Thank you for letting me know abot the tags. You know, old dog, new tricks...or in my case, very old dog!!!
  21. Always decried the fact that there are no dark ride or fun house facades in the game, but after years of scouring the net, I hit paydirt! Not finished, but I like the way it's turned out so far! Just a thought, should separate forum categories be created for rides, parks, etc.?

    Love that entrance building! Looking forward to more!
  23. Very atmospheric! Well done!
  24. Wowman, Wagi created some new pieces that work beautifully with Vampiro's striped walls. It ain't perfect, but it works pretty well. I deliberately left out exterior poles and guy wires on most of the tents for safety's sake! You can see them here on the comfort station. Thank you, wolfpaw! The Colonel Parker Circus is based on the Disney classic Toby Tyler movie. Bathrooms are tucked off in a corner; The centerpiece of Circus Square is the Venetian Carousel. You can catch a glimpse of the big top in the background; In front of the railroad tracks, a small carnival wheel has been set up; Looks like Dumbo has decided to join Toby Tyler in his circus adventure;
