  1. On your PHONE?! Unreal, Wilhelm. Your knowledge of coaster types and layouts never ceases to amaze.

Although I don't partake in PlanCo yet I could imagine it would be nice to see stuff in 1:1, 1:2, 2:1 etc scale ratios, where a peep is "1."
  3. This. Is. STELLAR!!! That Godzilla perched over the buildings is a work of art. I can only imagine being a tiny human walking under that beast…actually, no I can’t because the thought is rather terrifying.
  4. Bookworm, seeing your progress in this absolutely magical timewarp is so fun! Your earilest work showcases some rather...um....creative....terraforming. But then we get to Titanic (super storytelling there - it's one of my favorite movies!!) and you just soar from there. I feel like you really blossomed with The Flower (see what I did there?) because your laserwork is impecable. I know Sanctuary is on many folks' best-of lists, and for a damned good reason: it's perfect. It's no wonder we're all waiting for every update on Siren with baited breath!

You can hardly say we're stuck anymore. All the developments made with the AFE (as painstakingly meticulous as I understand it can be), scenery creation via Sketchup and the like, and now UHD 60fps recording, all have really brought the game into the "current" generation. I feel like with a more powerful game engine with some many UI enhancements in the MixMaster and related menus, RCT3 could continue to be the best fireworks sim. Definitely not the dominating theme park sim....but the best fireworks sim. IS AN UPGRADED FIREWORKS ENGINE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR, FRONTIER?!
  6. That spider coming in through your ceiling at night:
  7. I will say that @Gin and his Rebirth show's earthy finale heavily inspired this particular color palette. I wish there was a way to get deeper burgundy and brown tones in the lasers and pyro. LOL I wouldn't say "evolution" but hopefully I teeter somewhere around "progression." Thanks Sino 🥰 ------------------ Every night I spend about an hour retouching this same 15-second portion, changing this or adding that. Here's where tonight's progress landed (with an uncentered camera, no less): It's brief, but it's nice to have a video diary of sorts to reference outside of the game.
  8. A sign that reads 'DRUGS' in neon caps in a DIsney park is kinda hilarious 😝 But that theater is a beaut and the night shot is magical! Really digging how the Big Easy peaks over the top of the roofline. Are the second-story balconies guest accessible, or do they belong to some seldom-spoken club? 😉
  9. Those two shots of the Heffalumps scene are terrifying. I don't know if it's the eerily dark lighting casting shadows on crude shapes or what, but YIKES. If Disneyland Park Colorado ever did a mature-oriented Halloween event, that room right there could be an attraction all on its own. There's one small detail I love, and it's that billboard of Geppetto washed over in blue light. He's supposed to be holding a lantern, and you accomplished that with an actual lantern! I also like that guests have to squeeze through that tiny crack in the wall to get to the Pooh queue.

This park's gas bill must be outrageous with that inferno going all day! Hope you negotiated a good deal with the gas company.
  11. I'll PM you the deets Jaron.
  12. This is what the community is all about - coming together to find a creative solution! Hope you’ll consider sticking around to share your PlanCo projects 😄
  13. Was that picture taken in-game? Looks like a real building (and a real tree, for that matter).
  14. The soundtrack for Spook is going to be so rad, I hope it can be listened to on some capable speakers because DAMN... it hits pretty hard. Jaron, you're my #1 cheerleader 💖 Thank you so much! It brings me so much joy to see that you're finding that spark of inspiration again. May it materialize into some fun and exciting creativity for you! -------- I think I finally nailed down the issue with the lasers not staying put to base aims, and I think @Bookworm91 had the right idea. If the pointer isn't near or directly on the base you're trying to aim, it will likely not take. I've spent a couple of hours each of the last few days getting some laserwork done for Bark. I was warned by @wolfpaw that this soundtrack was not going to be easy to build a show to, and he wasn't wrong. But I know that I want really muted, drab color palettes. Gone are the bright and punchy colors from Fun.
  15. You could have sat me down on July 28th and told me right to my face that you were going to pull a 12 minute show out from scratch in less than 30 days, and I would have laughed right back and said "No way." But. You. Did. It. That, in of itself, is reveletory! I'll echo what @JB said above - the lasers aren't the stars of the show this time, and I think that was my expectation, but I was wrong to have expected that. In fact, I think it's quite lovely that no single element steals the attention here. All lighting, fountains, and pyro work very well together in every scene and chapter, all lending themselves equally to painting the colors and movements on the water. Visually, the show is a stunner. Maybe it's the language barrier, but one thing I kept scratching my head about was the set. I know, I know, it's been a huge point of conversation for as long as this has been an open topic...but here's my final piece on the matter: on its own, your set is very abstract and fantasy-inspired, but I have no idea how that correlates to the story. And aside from groupings of lasers and fountains coming off of the central tower and other effects firing off of the sharp pointy bits in the midground, there was very little interaction with the set overall - especially in those taller pieces. You do a great job highlighting these elements from behind, and the barges up front are almost in constant silhouette, but the large arches you brought into the background feel like a missed opportunity to do some rapid-fire sequencing across the tops. And those large singular columns - some twinkler comets firing down from the tops might have added another level of interest. You can have a well-staged and full-looking set with lots of varying pieces as you've built here, but if they aren't utilized during the show, then they're really not adding anything to it. These meager gripes don't make Synchronicity a lesser show. Far from it! In fact, if I could ever produce anything near as pretty and consistent (never mind how quickly it is achieved), I'd consider myself rather talented! This is what it's all about. The fact that it's a beautiful show is just gravy on top 😊 I can honestly say that I eagerly await the anouncement of your next epic! Thanks for the callout in the credits, by the way!
  16. And you're doing all of this on a laptop from 2012?!
  17. Wow, look at the depth of the work in that shot! So many layers of effects, front to back and top to bottom. Fantastic staging here, Bookworm!
  18. "May this tusk root out the lice of the hair and the beard." Would love to see the ride based on the oldest complete sentence.
  19. That nighttime POV is so lovely - I'd love to ride on a crisp Winter evening.
  20. Your effects syncing was dynamite! Every time those shells broke apart, they fell on a beat of the music, which is pretty heckin' sweet. I'd love to see what new shows you can produce with newfound access to TONS of new effects and that skill with the laser editor 😀
  21. If it's a number of votes kinda thing, I'd like to formally submit my request of viewing of past work. 😀
  22. Thank you, my dear! Yes, eerie is exactly what I was going for here. Wolfie stated it well below, "you are not supposed to be here"... I really want it to be a 360 set, but that's not to say some connectivity amongst the pieces wouldn't work. Thanks for your input Wolfie, it's always appreciated! And also, I would very much like to see this show-who-shall-not-be-named....
  23. Figured I would play around with some set ideas for the Bite installment following Bark. I know this doesn't reveal much about the show, but Spook borrows its set concept heavily from Totoditoto's Nightmare, as I'm going to attempt to do this one in-the-round. I'm not married to the terraforming-only vibe here, but I can't find the right CS to replicate what I had in mind. Here's a snippet of Spook's spooky soundtrack: Spooky Snip.wav I should be back to progress on the other show in the next week or so!
  24. All these otherwise-unimportant aspects of real world parks would have normally gone without so much as a silent fart of a thought, but you've taken the time to not only include them, but build them with extreme attention to detail. It's obvious you enjoy nailing down the finest of elements. Seriously, totally amazing what you're doing! Though I feel like I'm flying through a prison in that final shot - maybe paint an accent wall or two? 😅
