Tuesday at 07:03 PM3 days Author SDC has an older section of their park called "Grand Exposition" while Dolly has a similar area called Country Fair, mostly just a place for the more common flat rides that don't really fit into a specific themed area. So I wanted to do something similar but was trying to come up with a unique theme that would tie the rides together while still fitting into the rustic/wild west nature of the park, with bonus points for myself if I could continue setting things in the 1800's. It started with what a Ferris Wheel might look like in that era, and then it kind of snowballed from there.
Tuesday at 07:10 PM3 days Wow the last picture is just mindblowing! Love this! Such a great building, the whole scene is so good. The colours match perfectly together. I also like the rockwork in the background, such a nice area. I don´t know about the round circle in the middle, it looks a little bit too artificially
Tuesday at 07:21 PM3 days So I'm getting this kind of wild west steampunk vibe. (Is that a thing?) It all looks wonderful. Are those hot air balloons yours, or from the workshop? Tuesday at 07:38 PM3 days Author I'm calling it a steam fair, kind of like maybe a world expo dedicated to the exciting new technology coming to the 1800's. But yeah, without saying that word anywhere in the park, it's total steampunk and the western stuff kind of gets lost in it. Kind of a stretch but it let me go crazy with visuals.Yep, the balloons are workshop from 2 separate creators, I'm compiling a list of workshop codes to put in the next video.

I think I went with the cobblestone everywhere once we were able to recolor it. Thanks Daniel!
Wednesday at 02:53 AM3 days This looks fantastic! I'm starting to see some of your building style from your Shyguy's World parks (the detailed, and striking, industrial bits).
5 hours ago5 hr Author Thanks JB, I'm flattered you remember any of that cra-- I mean, majestical works of art! 😁Well this video would've packed a little more punch if I hadn't just posted the best pics of this area a couple days ago. But if you enjoy hearing me make a fool of myself, this clip will be a treasure trove.
4 hours ago4 hr Your steampunkery is a sight to behold! Wonderful stuff. I truly enjoyed seeing your creations, and how you utilized other peoples' creations. The best thing about your walk-through narrations IS your lack of any filters! Therein lies your humor. Great video, thanks.
3 hours ago3 hr Author haha, thanks JB. self deprecation is part of the shtick; I really do like how this project has been turning out. (and just between us, some of my frustrated whines were funnier (to me) than anything I tried to do in the first 3 takes) 😜
